86 THE 16TH ACCOUNT: THE END OF MY ADVENTURE? 8

I whimpered as I watched Eric leave me in the pavilion. I should have never left Labyrinth. I should've followed Jacob and remained in my room until we were safe. I placed my palms on my face and I cried. I cried for King Stefan and for the Crown Prince… for Yazmine and for Jacob… but most especially for the unknowing and innocent Angela. 

I screamed as I cried but my hands muffled it. I was angry. I want to kill Prince Eric but I am very much aware that he is stronger than me. 

"There you are…" it was Brenlyn's voice. "I was looking all over for you--" she added then I heard her rushed footsteps, "What happened? Are you alright? Did something happen?" she asked me right away as she tried to take my palms from my face.

I looked at her with teary eyes. "He's a monster," I whispered to her.
