1 Chapter 1: Ivy Benevy

Ivy Benevy was born with what they called a "golden spoon" in her mouth, her mother was a very famous actor, many business men envy her father for his luck of striking down all the best deals in the business world.

Her life was already planned out for her from the start, she never experienced a relationship either, she has always been a lonely person, her parents did not allow her to go to school because they were scared for how naive she was. Ivy's life was like a book that she could read but she couldn't write, she envied all her cousins for being able to do what they want, when ever they wanted, and even though they complained a lot about it.

Ivy has always wanted to go to school, that's why on her 13th birthday, which is three weeks from now, she was going to ask to go to school as her 13th birthday present, she had high hopes, even though she had been let down ever since her 10th birthday. She has always been protected and she was tired of her cousins treating her like a delicate glass vase which could break any moment.

Ivy just wanted to be a normal child, but she couldn't because she was always the princess trapped in a Tower, and she was never to be able to get out. She wanted to be able to jump a bout without being involved with scandals that were related to her parents. why couldn't she just be known as Ivy , without being called Evelyn and Dante Benevy's mysterious kid.

Ivy knew from when she was little that she would never gain her parent's affection, because she didn't have any time to earn it. And she has been told many times that she had to be cold and wary, of others around her, but was it wrong for a child to want a parent's love and affection, she had everything, but it was all unnecessary, she just wanted love and a companion who would care for her, without being paid, was it really that hard to find.

Many had always told her that she should be very happy, cause "money can buy happiness". When Ivy was little she didn't understand the phrase but as she grew older, she understood, but it didn't make sense to her, she had money but she was never happy, and even in the future she knew she wouldn't be willing to earn happiness with money. It just didn't feel the same it was only temporary this was something Ivy learnt from her father, Dante Benevy she saw how her father would always be happy when he struck a good deal with lots of profit, but the joy he'd shown would fade in a mere minute or two, cause he always yearned for more, the insatiable hunger that Ivy saw in her father's eyes, always frightened her, she never wanted to have that look in her eyes too when she grows up.
