Chapter 2 - Misery comes in DOUBLE.

Moon Chin Hae wanted to ask the one who was seated on the driver seat to drive faster but didn't dare to. Kang Chin Mae was already driving faster and going beyond the speed limit. He was still not sure that bringing Kang Chin Mae would be a good idea.

Kang Chin Mae was good at handling people who were so full of themselves, and he definitely knew how to put arrogant, narcissistic people in their place. Maybe no one could beat the King of narcissism, Kang Chin Mae.

None of the reasoning calmed Moon Chin Hae's mind as they could be putting not only Kang's life at risk and might his pregnant wife as well. All the struggle to keep him alive from the damned Moon family by their mother would go down in the drain.

He sighed little relieved when he saw the Moon family mansion gate. The gate was not closed, and the watchman was nowhere on sight. Looks like he also went in to witness the drama. Gritting his teeth, all he could do was calm his anger.

Kang Chin Mae just scoffed when the realisation dawned upon him. But there was not much emotional reaction.

The car was unrulily parked right in front of the door leading to the main mansion. Kang Chin Mae was the first to get off the vehicle, and Moon Chin Hae sprinted inside the house to check on his cousin and sister.

Witnessing Moon Young Jae on the pool of blood almost lifeless, Chin Hae cursed every god for putting his good-natured cousin into this misery. Many people in this damn house deserved to be in the state like or far worse than this, like his brother, step-sister, step-mother, father, Uncle, and how could he ever forget the ever so evil grandmother. But his cousin was the last person to deserve to be in this state.

When he was about to lift his cousin, Kang Chin Mae's voice stopped him.

"His rips might be broken, and there could be a fracture. Don't lift him and rob him of the chance towards a speedy recovery." The calm voice of Kang Chin Mae made him contemplate the options.

Before he asks further, Chin Mae continued. "Ambulance is a few minutes away. Let the professionals handle it…" he strolled towards them.

Everyone in the house was startled when they saw the exact replica of Moon Chin Hae. His sister, Moon Chin Sun shrieked as if she saw a ghost.

Kang Chin Mae just chuckled at the reaction as if it was not about him. He was crouched in front of the almost lifeless body of their cousin.

Moon Chin Hae decided to make the introduction only to make it more horrifying to everyone in the house.

"Meet my twin brother, Kang Chin Mae." And then he pointed to Sunny and said, "This is our little sister Moon Chin Sun, close family members call her Sunny." He just made the introduction as if it was not a big deal.

Unfortunately, that was not the case for the Moon family. They killed Moon Chin Mae. They threw him from the 11th floor when he was just three years seven months.

How could they ever forget that they threw Gu Bo Ra without hesitation while she begged to save her barely breathing son? Without a penny on her, she was kicked out of the family on a stormy night. To be more exact she was thrown out when there were on vacation and staying in one of their Chains of a hotel.

After that, there was no news of Gu Bo Ra and Moon Chin Mae. They all believed that those two died. Who would know that one day Moon Chin Mae would stand in front of them alive and healthy as Kang Chin Mae?

Kang Chin Mae removed his shirt swiftly and lifted Young Jae slightly to put pressure on the left shoulder where a sharp object pierced through him and making him bleed. Moon Chin Hae moved to assist his twin brother in dealing with the bleeding.

Chin Mae started to examine his newly met cousin for the types of injury. Kang Chin Mae was no doctor but being thrown from 11th floor at a very young age, he has suffered from multiple bone fracture. He used a wheelchair until thirteen years. But his precious family never gave up on his treatment and made a miracle to happen.

Kang Chin Mae looked relieved after looking at some of the injuries. It would be hard but not impossible to bring this fragile cousin back to health. By six to eight months, if this cousin follows the crazy doctor, Ro, he would be fine.

Sensing a movement on the side, he turned only to witness, women in her 40's, had a flower vase in her hand and about to him on the head. With ease, he held her hand firmly and turned towards, Moon Chin Hae who ignored the attempt as if it was expected.

"Who is she?" Kang Chin Mae's did not sound angry or irritated. But he was curious to know who wanted to beat him on the first meeting. He asked his twin brother, who he would never acknowledge as his brother.

Just because they run in the same circle, he was willing to be civil with the one with the same face and different surname. But he would never trust Moon Chin Hae as he still belonged to Moon family.

"That's our step-mother, Choi Na Ri. I am sure you know her." With that Chin Hae turned his head to the door, where the medic was rushing in with the stretcher.

Moon Chin Hae got busy in safely transferring Young Jae to the stretcher. He has better things to do rather than witnessing a self-conceited moron receive what she deserved… even though it would only be a little bit of interest. All he heard was something similar to the shrieking sound of a cat trying to fight… well.. who cares.

Kang Chin Mae had always been cunning to everyone except to the people he considered friends and family. For a person like him beating a woman was never an issue.

Twisting the women's hand, which held the metal flower vase, he made hit herself on her face hard. He held her hand tightly and made both her hand and face hurt more.

She started to scream and tried to move away from him, but it was not an easy job to get away from the iron grip of his.

He wanted to make Choi Na Ri tear even more and scream in pain.

It was not the time to seek revenge, but that doesn't mean ho wouldn't collect some interest. When he was about to make her hit her own head, a firm hand stopped him. His head whiplashed so fast he didn't get time to realise that he was punched square on the jaw.

Moon Chin Hae then knew hell was about to go loose. Young Jae was strapped securely in the stretcher, and the medic started to move him to the ambulance.

Without any hesitation, Kang Chin Mae landed a kick on Moon Chin Hwa, elder brother by blood for himself, Moon Chin Hae and Moon Chin Sun.

Moon Chin Hwa fell on the floor due to the force. Before he can get up or move, a leg firmly stepped on his chest, pinning him to the floor.

"So you do know how to fight but wouldn't do anything to save your own cousin. Pathetic bastard." With that, he stomped on Chin Hwa's stomach stronger before turning away.

He looked at Choi Na Ri in the eyes. "Try to mess with Chin Hae or the people he cares about, and I will set you all on fire when you all are fu*king alive…" with that without even waiting for Chin Hae or sparing a glance at the newly met sister Sunny, he walked towards the ambulance.

He boarded the ambulance as an immediate family member and threw his car key at Chin Hae who stood there dazedly near the ambulance.

With a nod, Kang Chin Mae left with unconscious Young Jae in the ambulance.
