1 Chapter 1 : Pillars

' 30 Years ago, during middle ages, a strange pillars all over the world started appearing. These pillars are tall and impossible to break, it can be found in the forest, volcanoes, cities, and even underwater.

They are everywhere but when these pillars appeared, the world drastically changed. Human beings were able to use an extra ordinary skills such as controlling fire, becoming bigger and more. Later on we called these abilities, Hui. '

On a chilly night on a small village a lady in mid 30s heard a cry of a baby, she followed and it leaded to a forest. When she arrived on the location where the cry was heard, she saw a young baby on a basket covered with leaves. She carried the baby and it stopped crying, she looked back at the basket and saw a necklace and a note. She read the note and it stated there the name of the baby and asked to take care of him. The lady was a kind lady so without a second thoughts, she took the baby and brought it at her home.

10 Years later...

"Wooooosh woooosh"

A sound of wooden swords clashing together.

"I'm not going to lose to you again Haru!"

shouted by a boy named Lien Mazoku

( the baby from 10 years ago )

"Baaaam"

Lien was knocked by haru

"You can always try next time lien"

haru smiled while helping lien get up

"Haru are you sure you don't want to become a Geazmo one day?"

asked by lien

Haru replied

"I don't want to leave you, mom and dad

here. I'm going to protect all of you

forever"

"But haru... Geazmo is an ideal work for you because you have a powerful hui ability--"

"Ok that's enough playtime for today kids

time to eat some snacks i bought from

the market!"

Said by a lady named marie

That's lady marie, the kind lady whom i considered a mom. She raised me when my parents abandoned me on a forest, and that boy over there is Haru, he's the son of lady marie. We are in the same age but he's stronger than i am because he's talented and born with a gifted hui unlike me who has a weak hui however he still considered me as his brother and bestfriend despite being weak.

Today is just like any other day, a peaceful and fun day. But that was what i thought...

Later that night chief harold came home with a bunch of sage fruits and there was a bulked man with him.

Lady marie husband, chief harold is the leader of this small village. He always come back with a sage fruit, me and haru loves sage fruit because it tasted so good.

Me and haru quickly ran to him and asked for a sage fruit, without hesitation he fed it to us.

'A sage fruit apparently is the heart of the mamons, it is the source of mamons powers. Mamons are animals that became a monster after recieving hui from the pillar and for some reasons mamons attacks humans.

However we are not scared of mamons because geazmos are there to protect us.

It was so delicious! I'm not disgusted even though i know sage fruits are mamons remains a.k.a hearts but they were cleaned and it is as hard as a diamond but when you bite it, it is as soft as an apple shaped like a melon and looks like a gem.

Harold was smiling at us while watching us enjoying the sage fruits then a man that came with harold asked while doing a hideous smile

"Is this your child that was gifted you were talking about chief harold?"

chief harold replied

"Yes why?"

The man then took out his knife and said

"Hand over that child and ill spare your families life before it's too late"

We were shocked and terrified!

After that loud horse noises was heading towards our home.

Harold then shouted in rage

"What's happening tony!"

The man was grinning and still threatening us with the knife

Screams from the nearby neighbors was then heard. We were frightened and then harold looked at the man with an anger on his face then he looked at marie and asked to take us with her and hide at our bedroom. She nodded and quickly grabbed our hands and rushed into our bedroom then upon arriving into our bedroom, we heared the front door forcefully opened.

Marie looked at us into our eyes and whispered

"Haru, Lien listen to me. I'm going to help your father so stay here and hide! Remember that!"

She then covered us with a blanket and rushed back to harold.

Haru then looked me into my eyes and saw me being scared. He then whispered

"Lien, don't worry. Im here with you. You don't have to be scared because everything will be fine."

Hearing those words from the person i admired the most is such a pleasant thing to hear. He then held into my hands and we covered our ears because the voice we're hearing is not from mamons but a group of men that seemed to be attacking the village.

We then heared maries scream which made both of us tremble.

I can hear haru's breathing is faster than usual so i was so frightened of what's happening right now. We then heared big footsteps coming towards us.

"Boss i found them!"

a shout from one of the men who attacked us

A huge guy then came and looked into haru.

He was grinning at haru.

"Looks like we found our treasure"

he said

He then grabbed haru but haru was resisting while i was frozen and couldn't move.

I looked at haru and he was crying and i couldn't bear to watch haru suffering from resisting so i ran infront of the huge guy and punched him.

"Let go of haru! Let go!!!"

A small child like me wasn't able to do any damage to the huge guy. He was grinning at me and his evil face was so hideous. He then kicked me towards the wall resulting to knocking me out and turned his back at me.

"Boss aren't we going to take him too?"

said by one of his men

"Leave that child, he's no use to me. He

has a weak hui"

the boss replied

My eyes opened on a blurry vision and i saw haru still forcefully taken and i extend my hands and trying to call outs haru's name but couldn't. My vision was slowly dropping then i seemed to have passed out.
