Helping Tamayo

I thought of mixing sedatives in her food but she will easily detect it. It seems I need to get physical about it.

I was slowly sapping its strength. But it was fighting back. I soon realised that if I go any more Tamayo's body will be ravaged because of the battle between Muzan and me.

'It all depends on her will now'

Tamayo Pov

'Why?' I thought as I stood there defenceless against him. At first, I was very curious when master Muzan mentioned that another being that was not a demon existed in the world.

But Muzan seemed to not care about him. He even sent me to warn and drive him out of Japan. When I met him for the first time I was shocked as he looked just like a teenager. He acted as if he knew me. He even knew about my past. How did he know?

He seemed pretty harmless and even seemed like a happy go lucky kid. But why is he trying to kill me? Is he trying to get back at Muzan?

'Maybe death will redeem me of my sins? At least I wanted to see Muzan die.' I thought as I was slowly losing my strength.

"What are you just gonna give up? Don't you want to have revenge against Muzan? Don't you want justice for your child and husband?" I suddenly heard his voice.

'What is he saying? Of course, I want revenge for my husband and child. But how can I defeat Muzan. I have even tried it and failed miserably. No one can defeat Muzan'

"What are you gonna do about the lives that you have taken? Don't you want to atone for those sins?" he spoke again.

'Yeah, I want to atone for them. My death will be my atonement. If I die, I can escape from Muzan, my sins, my past'

"You can't die that easily" he said as I strangely remembered the faces of my family. Ever since I have become a demon I can't remember their faces clearly. But now I remember it clearly.

The happy times that I had with my husband and children. It all came rushing back towards me. I even remembered all the people I killed while I was on the rampage.

I had a hard time accepting what he just said. But I knew it. It was almost an instinctual feeling. I know I am no longer under that Man's control. I am free from M-muzan

Unconsciously tears poured from my eyes. A few drops turned into an unending stream as I cried like a little girl. Soon I felt a warm hug over me.

'So warm' I thought as I cried like a child in his embrace.

'Sigh, it was very difficult. If Tamayo had a real will, she would have died from this encounter.

In those memories, I saw the sick and dying Muzan. Blue spider lily was mentioned in those memories. That flower gave Muzan his powers.
