when Ru Lan and Lei got upstairs, Ru Lan went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. "Hey Serene, say hello to mama" Ru Lei said as she entered the room. "Good evening miss Ru" answered serene.

"I seriously don't know how you can sound like Selena Gomez and still be this serious, it makes it feel like the alex Russo I know is a fake" Ru lei said again, she decided to converse with Serene since Ru Lan was in the bathroom.

"I don't know how to express emotions miss Ru" Serene responded in a deep voice different from the one she used before.

"holy shit, that was vin diesel" Ru lei screamed. she was quite ecstatic.

at that time, Ru Lan came out of the bathroom and heard their coversation, so she responded "and you said my baby serene doesn't know how to have fun" hehehe. she laughed.

She died her body dry with her towel, blow dried her hair and changed into their pyjamas before joining Ru Lei on the bed.

"so any juicy deets about your day today? she asked Ru Lei as she braided her hair.

" just the norms for me babe, but a little birdie told me that you had a sumptuous lunch that consisted of a hot guy and food, tell me about that, I can't wait" Ru Lan said, her face beaming with excitement.

before Ru lan could answer, she heard serene's voice "you have call from hotstuff"

"really lannie, hotstuff? you saved my boss's contact as hot stuff?" Ru Lei asked.

"yes! I saved my boyfriend's contact with hotstuff, do you have any opinion about it? Ru Lan asked.

" No ma'am, no opinions at all. you take your call, I'll go take a shower" Ru Lei said before climbing down from the bed and walking into the bathroom.

Ru Lan answered the call and removed it from handsfree mode. "Hey beautiful" he said

"hey hotstuff" she replied with a smile. if anyone saw her now, they'd think she's a teenage girl in love.

"hotstuff? hmmm" Jason replied

"why? don't like it?" she asked.

"No! I think I like it very much, in fact, i'd like whatever you call me sweetness" he replied, making her red all over.

"so how was your day?" Jason asked.

"nothing much! just the usual, I was ambished by my family though, thanks to you"

"me"? He asked.

" yeah, they were curious About you?"

"oh" he said.

they kept talking about so many trivial matters for the next two hours. By the time Ru Lan was done with her call, Ru lei was already fast asleep. "gosh! she's gonna hate me tomorrow again" she sighed and covered her up with a blanket."goodnight sis" she said before laying down on the other side of the bed.

Next morning....

By the time Ru Lei woke up, Ru lan was just returning from her morning run, she was all sweaty so she was wiping her self dry when she entered the room.

"hey princess, I see you slept pretty well on my bed, do you want to swap rooms?" she asked Ru Lei who was still a little groggy having just awoken. Ru Lei rolled her eyes at her and still kept quiet, she didn't greet her not replied to her lame attempt at joking.

Ru Lan went to take her shower, they were supposed to go shopping with their mom today in preparation for the wedding.

"Lannie, we need to talk" Ru Lei said.

'oh, shit! I recognize that tone, i totally ditched her ditched her last night' Ru Lan thought.

she walked to the bed and sat beside her sister, she had an inkling of what she was going to talk to her about.

"Lannie, i was already asleep before you finished talking with the boss last night, you guys seem pretty serious yeah?" she asked.

uh uh! replied ru lan.

"Lannie, are you sure this time? I mean, I know first hand, how you get when things start becoming serious, I just need to warn you that Li Jaesun is not someone we should mess with. if he is as serious as I think he is, then you can't run away this time Lannie, he'd find you to the ends of the earth"

Ru Lan fell into contemplation, she was thinking about what Ru Lei just said, she hadn't thought that far.

Ru Lei's worries were valid, she knew Ru Lan too well. that girl has commitment issues. whenever her relationships start to get serious, she drops off the grid and comes back after the whole thing has blown over. she even beat up some of her exes who refused to go and became clingy. Even while she was waiting and looking for Jason all this while, she entered into some relationships, some of them just for the fun and excitement of it.

"what if i go as far as Africa Lei, do you think he would still find me? I've got a merc job in Africa later this month"

"huh! My God Lannie, you really do want to run, aren't you tired of running?" Ru Lei asked her.

"Lei, its not that i want to run, it's just that I think we're going too fast, besides Its not as exciting as i thought it'll be.
