11 11. Jealousy

RuQian read the books for a while in the library and found out that the books there were just at a very basic level. Even though she did not know much about coding she still used to manage a tech company so she knew some coding and hacking but she wanted to learn at the advanced level now. After leaving the library she saw a boy rushing up to her.

"Are you Su RuQian?"

"En. Why?"

"Head president Chang is calling you. Come quickly."

She knew they were planning but she did not think that he would act this quickly.

"What are doing? Didn't you hear what I said? Head president is calling you."

"I have some work. If your head president has something to say he should do it himself."

With that RuQian turned around and left. The boy stood there dumbfounded at her attitude and went to report what happened to Chang Min.

The next day when RuQian entered the school grounds everyone around her started staring at her. RuQian guessed Chang Min must have done something but she could not care less. It's not like it was the first time anyone was staring at her. She was used to these things anyways. RuQian ignored all the stares and just left for her class. Just as she wanted to open the door to her class she realized there was a huge crowd inside and she could hear murmurings from the other students as they were discussing some secret. When she entered the class that's when all hell broke loose.

"Look, she is the one who was chasing after head president Chang."

"No wonder she looks like a slut."

"I heard she begged for him to date her."

"I heard she ran after his car as he was leaving school."

"No, I heard she even went to his house to pester him and when he did not accept her to be his girlfriend she made a huge ruckus in front of his house."

"Ahh! I know these kind of girls, they will follow you everywhere and disturb you just for attention."

"Such an attention seeking bitch."

"Ohh Chang ge is such a naive person he will maybe just accept her."

"No how can Chang ge accept this slut? We cannot let him do that."

"It is not like we can stop him in anyway. But let us show him the true colours of this bitch then he will steer clear of her."

"Yes, we have to save Chang ge."

Save Chang Min? Hah! RuQian scoffed internally when she heard all the idiotic comments from these useless 'Chang army' fans. Do they think I am a pushover? Tough luck dumbos cause I am NOT! RuQian quietly went to her seat, as she pulled her chair she saw it shining a little under the sunlight from the window. Oh so they applied glue to her chair? No worries. She took out a scarf from her bag, placed it on her chair and then sat down.

Some girls realized their plan was a failure while other girls gasped in horror as they recognized the pure silk scarf which was the same cost as their entire year fee of school, and this girl had casually placed it on a glue covered chair.

"Isn't that silk scarf familiar? I feel like I have seen it somewhere before."

"Don't you know? It is that scarf from Z&K where they exclusively sold only ten pieces and no more."

"Ahh my mother tried to buy that but they said not just anyone can easily buy that and you would need an exclusive membership for that."

"Ohh so it is not just about money, you also need some stature to buy such things then."

"Then how does she have that exclusive scarf with her?"

"She must have stolen it. Where else do you think she can get something like that."

"Ehh don't you know her? She is the Su family's daughter so maybe her father bought it for her?"

"The Su family might have some money but they are nowhere close to be able to buy these kind of expensive gifts. She definitely stole it from someone!"

Among the crowd Lu Xu Mei stood quietly observing everything that was taking place. When she found out that scarf was such an expensive and exclusive one she felt really jealous. She knew that RuQian was the Zhang family's granddaughter and she also knew that the old hag was very doting and gave her everything she asked for. Lu Xu Mei did not want others to know of her relationship with the Zhangs so she kept quiet.
