17 Move out and Payback

After the crushed Xue Li had walked out of the room, Mi Rong pulled a chair and sat beside Qing Qing. The little girl was now happily chirping away with Mi Rong. After some time, the medical team hastily bid their goodbyes to Jun Kai and left quickly.

Jun Kai had been carefully observing the medical team, while simultaneously watching Qing Qing talk with Mi Rong. Although he didn't want to interrupt his daughter's happiness, he was strongly intended to have a word with Mi Rong. Hence, he walked closer to the pair and said, "Qing Qing, let papa borrow Mi Rong for a minute. I want to have a chat with her."

"But.." Qing Qing turned to Mi Rong awkwardly and wanted to ask her if her jie wanted to or not.

Mi Rong saw Xiao Qing's worried gaze and gave a light smile to Qing Qing. She opened her lips and said, "It's fine Qing Qing, I'll be back." Mi Rong casual stood up and walked towards the door. Jun Kai was pulled back by Qing Qing and she whispered something in his ears. After that, he depressedly followed Mi Rong. Mi Rong was flabbergasted. She couldn't tolerate it and said, "Look, I don't want to know who you have in your heart and as far as know; I haven't asked for any affections from you nor have I asked you to be responsible for the kiss at all, wonder boy." She was also annoyed about having her first kiss taken away by someone she didn't like. Anyway, Mi Rong had thought over the incident and although she had come from ancient time and grew up with the traditions back home, she could only ask for forgiveness from her mother this time. If it was back then, Jun Kai would have to take responsibility for her for even touching her. However, she was not in her time and she really didn't want any responsibilities from Jun Kai.

Hearing Mi Rong's answer somewhat gave an itch to his heart. He didn't know what was this feeling but could only suppress it down. "Good," he said, but deep inside he didn't actually feel good.

Jun Kai then moved onto his next topic, "Now, I would like you to move out as I would like to have some private time with Qing Qing."

Liar. I've never seen you come that often. In this case, this boy might just want to run away and not see her face. Pft.

"Sorry, but I don't have any reasons to do so. I like this room very much and if you don't want me inside the room with Qing Qing, then you'll have to move Qing Qing instead." Mi Rong crossed her arms uncompromisingly.

"You!" They both knew that moving Qing Qing was only a nightmare, but she deliberately said it to him again.

Jun Kai heaved a sigh of relief and decided to leave things like it was. He didn't want to stay any longer with Mi Rong and left, as there was this bothersome feeling that would not go away. He brushed past Mi Rong indifferently.

However, before he could leave any further from Mi Rong, a voice halted him, "Oh by the way, once I leave, you'll have to deal with Qing Qing on your own." Then, it was Mi Rong's turn to happily leave. Jun Kai was left behind clenching his hands. When he heard Mi Rong's last words, he began to realize why it was so easy for her to say that she would be moving out. She knew it wasn't going to be easy for him to console little Qing Qing. Ugh! He gloomily watched as Mi Rong walked further away after a while his phone call rang.

"Wei?" Jun Kai answered his call.

The person on the other side hastily spoke something over the phone. Followed by, Jun Kai clutching his phone tightly. He answered with clenched teeth, "Bring all our men and hold them off before I come. I'll be there in a moment."

At his father's branch company in Korea, there were intruders coming to look for trouble. On the phone, Lin Cheng had already investigated and found that the person responsible was Feng Min. He must teach this cousin of his some lesson before he steps over the line any further.
