Hui Lan arrived in front of Mei Lin Palace with the young crown prince in her arms. She stood at the entrance and just stared at her palace's nameplate.

"Welcome back, Hui Lan." Su Rong, who was standing behind her, spoke for just the two of them to hear.

"Thanks, Su Rong. But do you think Xiao Ming will like this place?" Hui Lan couldn't help but feel self-conscious when she thought of her becoming like a mother to Xiao Ming.

She had to admit that she was still not used to taking care of a baby. Even at this moment, it was her first time holding one.
