Synopsis

A young boy accidentally got into some trouble with a mob boss and in his efforts to stay alive he has to work off his debt of 500k. Little did the young boy know, his situation with the mob was just the beginning.

Chapter 1The Phone Call

I remember the day like it was yesterday. August 10, 2003 3:15pm 25 minutes before i made that phone call. I was dropped off at school, I went to meet up with my friends, to find out that Jake, an old friend of mine, got into drugs. I couldn't believe what I heard, 'Jake? impossible he swore to his death that he'll never touch any drug' I thought.

I looked everywhere for him, I ran around the whole school until finally i found him behind a classroom, snorting cocaine other guys. When he saw me, he jumped and tried to convince me that he was doing something else, but i know what i saw. His nose was bleeding so he ran to the restroom to clean his nose. I went about the day trying to erase what i saw but i couldn't.

My friends and I were walking home when we saw Jake buying something from a guy. We were shocked and disappointed. I remember pulling my phone out from my pocket and Dialled 911. I stood there with the operator on the line, I told them that there was a guy selling things to people on the corner of the street. We began to walk away, I had no clue that just one phone call would change my whole life.
