48 World Peace Force?

---- Year 1999, Steve's POV -----

It has been 2 years since Erik started his African campaign. In the last 2 years, I watched him grow from a young boy to a future king. With the help of the governing council and our knights from the base, we have conquered more than half of Africa.

Currently, I am in Sokovia. Why? Because Martha notified us about possible sightings of one HYDRA leader hiding here. We already hunted these snakes in the US but there are still some hiding in other parts of the world. One of them is this right hand of Baron Strucker, Baron Karl.

"Commander, we located a castle here in the hills. The Falcon recon group has sent some pictures and it looks like there is some heavy firepower around it." A knight told me while we were moving towards a possible location and I saw the latest pics our falcon drones sent.

"Let's check it out. There is already a civil war here and sokovian armed forces don't pack this kind of heat." I ordered them and we silently surrounded this place.

Just as we moved close to this area, the armed forces protecting this place attacked us with everything they had.

"This has to be it. Everyone, attack!" I ordered my knights and we attacked this place. Fury gave orders and directed us with possible routes looking via falcon drones and it became an easy sitting target for us.

Three hours later, we had captured this Baron Karl along with a few scientists and soldiers. Rest all died by our bullets or their own poison.

"Pack up boys! Take everything we can and leave." I ordered the knights before finding something odd. One of the monitors in their control room was showing me a live picture of Novi Grad where the US Air force just conducted an air raid and bombed the city with tens of mortar shells!

Why will these snakes care about civilians? Something is off.

"Baron, right? I want to know what is going on here. Why is Hydra suddenly interested in civilians in Novi Grad?" I asked this hydra leader. Knowing he won't be this easy, I had to deliver some punches straight to his face and gut area and he spoke like a parrot.

"Our winter soldier is hiding in the area. Your Air Force attacked this place, killing a lot of civilians and now our winter soldier will enter into the sokovian army, capture your soldiers on the ground and execute them openly.

This small war will become bigger and bigger until this entire Sokovia becomes a failed state. You Americans like to play landlord in the name of peace. HA HA HA....peace dropped from the sky bringing fire and death."

Baron told me their plans and I punched his remaining teeth out.

"Everyone I give you 10 mins to pack and leave. We need to be in the air now!" I ordered my men and called fury who was at the base. No matter who is the president of the US, they all love to bring freedom on foreign soil. Fuck!

"Fury, what should we do now?!" I asked Fury but I didn't get a reply.

-----Fury POV----

"Fury, what should we do now?!" - I heard as Steve questioned me but mother**** do you think I have an answer! I am not the president and we are not the fucking world peace force! Countries fight among themselves, some for land, some for oil and some just to act as the big daddy in the world.

We ain't the good guys out there but no one is. This ain't politics but this is how every country works and strong eats weak. The man might have evolved but the law of jungle remains the same.

"Nothing! We do nothing. If we do something we will become the public enemy in the US and will be hunted down globally. Then what if we have to fight the US in the middle east? What if Pakistan attacks India or North Korea targets South Korea or every country out there who hates their neighbours attacks each other? We ain't a global peace force and there is no world government. Until there is, we do nothing." I told him the honest truth. I know the commander won't like it. But I don't have any solution for global conflict. If I had, there would be no war on this planet.

"Toootttt....." Suddenly Steve cut off his communication channel and I knew this guy is going to do something. Damn it! Fuck!

"Martha call Phil! Now!!"

I kept waiting for what felt like forever when Phil came into the operation room. I sat down and told him everything. He kept listening until he thought something and asked Martha to check something. Then he got up and left.

"I don't any solution for this Fury. The only way is either an alien attack that destroys all possible resistance towards a true global government or me becoming the next US president and dropping several nukes on half of the world. This might make the other half follow us obediently but yeah, that is the best peace that I can offer. Now, I remembered something and need to leave. Let the commander do whatever he wants. He became Captain America for a reason and it wasn't because he wanted to be a soldier."

He told me this while leaving. I knew the fucker was right. Now an alien invasion was not something we can face with our current strength. But one day, we will be attacked and only then there might be a single govt maintaining this whole world in a better way.

"Martha connect me to Keller," Maybe I cannot bring peace but if there is a chance to make sure our boys in the army don't drop too much peace on foreign soil, SHIELD can still do something about it.

Three hours later, commander steve came back with the snakes they captured and I directly sent them to the prison area that Melina designed in our base. A nice piece of work that fits into our aquarium via Pym Particles. I sat with the commander and listened to the 'extra mission' that he performed.

He basically reduced a unit of captured American soldiers, killed one winter soldier who was hiding but they were heavily attacked by Sokovian forces and had to leave the area in hurry.

Phil also came back from Sokovia with lots of kids.

"Phil are you trying to start some sort of daycare here because this ain't the place for them!" I told him but he the mother**** just smiled and sent these kids to the civilian area here.

"They lost their homes and parents Fury. Instead of letting them become future beggars and criminals, I just gave them a new home." He told me and went away.

----Phil POV------

I remembered something. One piece of information that I had missed but thanks to Fury, I remembered about the maximoffs. Finding them was easy thanks to Martha.

I saw the broken city burning in fire and then rescued them along with many other kids. Wanda and Pietro. Knowing their future, I called New York sanctum directly. After a short conversation, our ancient one who is spending her last days there agreed to take these kids under her wing.

Both the kids were scared at first but the ancient one has her magic tricks. I think these kids will find a much better life with her. Wanda might become the most powerful among us in future and end up killing one giant purple Baldy alone. Pietro won't die from bullets in future until he is running naked. I will make better suits for both of them.

Well, I can dream and hope. Can't I? Thanos. One the same thought, why all villains are purple in MCU? Hmm... it's like Stan Lee hated purple and all villains became purple. Killgrave, Thanos, even the Galactus. Hmm...I could maybe colour code future villains and check this theory.

Strange thought.
