Synopsis

The fate of the world hangs in balance as monsters and villains go on rampage day after day. But when all hope seemed to be lost,some brave souls stepped up. They are called HEROES. After an unexplainable phenomenon,about 80% of the Earth's population began to manifest strange abilities and with that also came the monsters. Some use their powers to stop the rampaging monsters as well as maintain justice whereas others use theirs for selfish ambitions. A young Orphan teenager named Adam Cole who was born without an ability of his own and yet has always aspired to become a pro hero would often get bullied and mocked,and even his Uncle,one of the few relatives he has left treats him like garbage was always abusive towards him. Miraculously,this guy is granted a system ability from an interdimentional ghost and is now able to chase his dream again.

[As a means of selling this idea to you, I’ll just mention before the real synopsis that this story’s world is kind of like Genshin Impact, but imagine if the main character was just some existentialist rather than a hero who was already pure of heart to begin with. This is a story of great character development.] Imagine if a nihilistic, ‘grown up’, realist, were to suddenly be transported into a fantasy world as though he were in a video game? Imagine if that person was once a gamer, but after trying to become more ‘serious’, the thought of trying to enjoy himself never crossed his mind again for years. Imagine if after that depressive cycle, he was thrust out of his world where everything made sense, and no matter how hard he wished, his idea of normal in this new world wasn’t something that mattered to others. He encounters a variety of unique people and challenges, and all of these things come as a surprise to him, since he hasn’t met a single pure thing in his previous world. Honest friends, adventure, and purpose, something that seems only fitting for a fantasy world. He struggles with the idea of wanting to know if he would have ever had the chance to find such happiness in the original world he came from. Things eat at him, but even though he knows that is stupid, he wants answers and security, not a quick fix that was simply handed to him out of luck.
