2 Chapter One

"Reika"

"I'm coming"

I hurried down the stairs when mom called me.

Mom always treats me like a kid that feels me uncomfortable, but only sometimes. I know she cares for me a lot.

I am Reika Montecillo, an ordinary student with a normal life.

"oh dear, it's only 30 minutes and your class will get start,"Mom said as I sat down next to her and took a loaf and ate it.

"Mom,I don't have anything to do at school and you know I'll be there in less than 10 minutes "

Mom took a deep breath

"How many times can I tell you not to use your power too much and maybe someone will see you "

"I'm 18,I know I can handle myself" I gave her an encouraging smile.

I know Mama is just worried about me, that is why we live far away from people, so they don't know that we are different from them.

"Be careful Reika"Mama smiled at me, and I returned the smile.

"All right, mom bye," I said as I walked out the door.Before releasing my spirit phantom, I took a deep breath.

"I command you, Wind of Descend, My Spirit Phantom, to reveal your true form."

The light encircled and formed a circle around my body.

"Amir,"

Amir came out next to me. My Phantom. He has a human body with some armor and holds wing blades in his hands. He's practically naked and has his eyes completely closed.

"Come on, Amir, let's go!"

He knelt in front of me and nodded. It's due to Amir's stature. I almost jumped when I got behind him since he's big.He began flying high as he saw I was okay.Since of the speed with which he flew, it's a good thing my hair is tangled because it would be a disaster otherwise.

I've known Amir since I was a child. I always called him out when I needed him, just like when I was five years old and playing in the park with my friends.When a bunch of men decided to kidnap me.  They have power just like me, though I didn't realize it at the time.

They unleashed the Black Wolves, who were going to kidnap me for reasons I didn't understand. My teammates ran away while I stood still, and I began to cry. Even though I didn't know Amir, I mentioned his name as the wolves were about to capture me. He appeared out of nowhere and divided the wolves. Mom appeared out of nowhere and, like them, couldn't believe what had happened.

Mom's words are still fresh in my mind."Take care of Amir, Your Spirit Phantom,"

Since then, We moved out of our previous house and went to a distant place away from people so that the past would not happen again.

When I noticed our school from afar, Amir dropped me off near a forest so that we wouldn't be observed by someone.

"Thank you, Amir," I said with a smile, and he vanished.

I began walking, and while on the road, I immediately recognized my best friend, Kiara.

I waved at her and cried out, "Kiara." She grinned at me as soon as she noticed me. We strolled together . At school, I have a lot of pals. They are also ordinary students who have entered, which is exactly what I should believe. Maybe I have the power, but we both came here with the same goal in mind: to study and live peacefully.

They shouldn't know that I'm not like them.

When we arrived in our classroom, our chemistry teacher began teaching.

Suddenly, I was startled when I heard some strange voice.

"They have already arrived Reika. Be careful. "

I looked to my side but my classmates were still looking to the front and listening to our teacher.

There's nothing..

Who is he? Why does he know me? Why did he keep me safe?

We were both shocked when suddenly something exploded in a part of our school.

When we first peered out the window of the classroom, I was taken aback by what I saw.

Five gigantic black phanters that entirely demolish the whole buildings, as well as a swarm of giant spiders that release webs that entirely melt the structures.
