11 Good-Bye, Timothy

Tim looked back as well, and tears welled up in his eyes. Jet and I were dirty and our clothes were torn, and I was carrying the kittens in a blanket. Tim looked at me coldly and said, "Where did you go?" My legs started shaking, and I couldn't say anything. His cold stare reminded me of his father.

Jet said, "Why does that matter? At least we're back." Jack put his hand on Tim's shoulder, but Tim shrugged it off and said, "Rudy, we're going home." I gave the kittens to Jet and said, "I can't trust Tim with my kittens right now. Go with Jack and he'll take care of them." Jet nodded, and Tim shouted, "Come on!" I did as he said and quickly followed him home.

I was so scared of Tim that I almost forgot that I was in heat. When we got inside the house, Tim put a collar around my neck. I tried to pull it off, but Tim grabbed it and dragged me into a hidden room. He tossed me in there and said, "You'll be in here until your back to normal." Without saying another word, he shut the door, leaving me in complete darkness.

Luckily, there was a bit of light coming from the top left of the hidden door, and I was able to see a bit. I looked around for an escape, but there wasn't one. I yowled because I was scared and uncomfortable. I kept yowling until Tim kicked the door and shouted, "Shut up!" I sat down and buried my head into my knees.

The next day, the heat was gone and the room smelled a lot like me. Tim opened the door and I rushed out and ran into the living room. Tim followed and tried to approach me, but I hissed at him. Tim said, "Why are you scared? It's your fault that Tony's gone, so I have to punish you." I flattened my ears and lowered my head. I only ever acted like this in front of Tim's father.

Then there was a knock on the front door. Tim opened the door and Jack said, "What the fuck was with you last night?" Tim said, "What do you mean?" That made Jack's veins in his forehead pop out, and he shouted, "What do you mean what I mean!? You had to rush home for no reason at all, and I can see Rudy acting like a "tame" pet! What's wrong with you!?"

Tim said, "Nothing's wrong with me. I'm just getting my act right." Jack slammed the door, breaking it, and shouted, "You can pay for that you rich asshole!" That made Tim mad, and I escaped out of a window before he even glanced at me. Jack grabbed my hand and said, "Jet wanted me to get you, but this is more serious than I ever imagined!"

When we got to Jack's house, Jack murmured, "Okay Rudy. I know you haven't got declawed, so please don't scratch my dogs. They will make more noise than a circus full of people." I nodded, and when we got inside, I saw Jet taking over the couch, and two red and black dogs whining at him. Jack shouted, "Jet! I got Rudy!"

Jet instantly got off of the couch and hugged me. I hugged him back and Jack asked Jet, "Where's Cleo?" Jet said, "Hm... she's asleep." Jack went into a hallway and I asked, "How are the kittens?" Jet pulled away and said, "They're fine. I do think one of them is going to transform." I tilted my head, and Jet sighed. He grabbed my hand and took me to the kitchen.

The kittens were in a basket on the table, and Jet said, "Look at Ace." I looked at him, and the fur on his head and tail were getting thicker. Jet said, "There's a low chance that one or two kittens in a litter will turn into a pet. The rest of them stay like this." "Ah okay." Jack rushed in and said, "Tim is here. Get your asses out of here!" Jet grabbed the basket and my hand and jumped out of a window.

We kept running until we got to an alleyway. I sighed, and Jet said, "We can't stay with Jack or Tim. It's too dangerous." Jet took off my collar, and he put his on his wrist saying, "From now on, we live here." He sat me down and said, "I promise that I'll protect you and the kittens." I smiled at him, and he ran off to do something.

I held onto the basket and sat against the wall. When I looked up, I saw Molotov looking down at me. He jumped down and said, "Hey. Why are you and Jet staying out in the streets?" I said, "It's too dangerous for me to live with my owner, and Jet's owner is dead." Molotov said, "Dang. That's harsh. Well, I better leave. I don't want to get into an argument with Jet again."

Right after he jumped away, Jet rushed over and said, "We're safe for now. I just have to... well do everything until these little guys grow up." I walked over to Jet and hugged him. I said, "Thank you for protecting me Jet." He hugged back and murmured, "I will protect you even in the afterlife."
