5 Chapter 5

The next morning, I was sleeping next to Jet near the river where we did "it". Now I may be pregnant with his kits. I put my muzzle into his fur, and he started to wake. He said, "Oh... hey Birch.." I purred and he said, "At least you're not in heat anymore. Quinn was acting crazy yesterday."

I said, "That's right. We should also get back. Lu's going to be mad..." Jay stretched his legs and said, "Yeah... okay." After we woke up, we walked back to the clearing, and Lu was there with Quinn. Lu looked at us and she shouted, "There you are! I was worried that Quinn was getting high on your sent without your consent..."

I laughed and Quinn said, "The smell isn't there anymore..." Lu's smile turned into a frown and she said, "You boys are impossible... can't you see that Birch didn't want a mate yet!?" I finally realized that she took what I said the wrong way. That was also before I knew that I could go into heat. I said, "Lu it's okay. Please calm down..."

She looked at me with a worried expression and said, "I know. But since you can go into heat, it means that you could get pregnant, and from what I learned from other cats, it hurts to give birth and it hurts to be pregnant." I said, "If my mom can do it, then I can too. I'll be fine Lu." Jay smiled and Quinn said, "Speaking of your mom, your dad has been talking about him all morning. Do you want to go see him?"

I shrugged and walked to his den with my friends close behind. I peeked inside, and I saw my dad with his shorts down, and his member fully erect. He sat down and said, "I wish I could see you again..." All four of us watched as he put his hand on his member, and started stroking. He made small, subtle moans, and Quinn whispered, "Why are we watching this?"

Jay said, "I don't know..." Lu or I didn't say anything. We just watched. Soon, a white liquid came out of him, and he moaned a little loudly after it came out. Lu whispered, "We better go..." We rushed away from my father's den, and into mine. Quinn said, "Damn. He really misses your mom." I flattened my ears and said, "I miss him too, but there's no way that we're getting him back."

Jay said, "Yes there is. We can just... go back to the city." Lu's fur rose and she shouted, "What!?" Quinn said, "The city... I don't even remember what it was like..." I said, "R-Really? Are you sure Jay?" He looked at me dead in the eyes and said, "Anything to make you happy." Lu puffed up her chest and said, "Well I'm staying here! One, because of Kyle, and two, so your dad won't get suspicious!"

I smiled and said, "Thanks, Lu. You're the best." She sighed and said, "So when are you leaving?" Jay thought for a moment and he said, "Right now. It will be night by the time we get to the old alleyways." Quinn gasped and Lu said, "Well then good luck." Jet, Quinn, and I ran out of my den, and into the lush forest. We've been running and walking for hours, and at sunset, we made it to the city. Jay said, "Let's hurry. We don't want any humans spotting us."

Soon, we finally made it to an abandoned alleyway, and we were finally able to rest. Quinn said, "The city is kind of smelly... and big." Jay said, "Trust me, there's much more than this. But for now, let's just go to sleep." We laid close together, and eventually, we fell asleep.
