4 Chapter 4

My paws twitched in agony. I woke up because the heat was getting worse. There were curious males out, but they think that it's a female. The fact that it was night out made it darker, but I could still see because of the moonlight. Then there was a familiar scent. It was Jay and the others! It was too risky to meow, so I broke through the broken bar, and slid out.

I ran into the bushes, and I bumped into Quinn. He screamed quietly, and I sat down. Jay and Lu rushed over and Lu whispered, "I'm so glad you're okay. I had to convince Kyle that I wasn't cheating on him to even leave our den." I said, "I'm fine. We should get going before anyone notices." Jay nodded and he lead the way.

Quinn was sniffing the air and he said murmured something to himself. I couldn't help the fact that I was in heat, and it was making Jay and Quinn confused. Lu stopped and asked them, "Alright stop. What's going on?" Jay stopped as well and said, "There's someone in heat nearby and it's... well distracting." Then Quinn said, "And it's sweeter than usual."

I sighed and said, "I should've told you instead of going into the forest." I flattened my ears and quickly said, "I-I'm in h-heat.." The boys were surprised and Lu had a strong look of disbelief on her face. Quinn became curious, and he wanted to confirm it himself. He got behind me and smelled my behind. I looked back and he had a dazed look on his face.

He shook his head and said, "H-He's in heat... w-wow... you smell really good..." Lu sat down and Jay said, "I can't believe this..." Quinn licked me, and I instantly sat down saying, "Q-Quinn! What was that?" Lu became angry and she said, "What? What did he do?" He didn't listen. He just lied down and continued to sniff me while purring loudly.

Jay said, "We have to get home. King Jet sent us to find you because we found out that you were missing." I nodded and said, "A-Also... can you please get Quinn away from me?" Lu gladly kept Quinn away from me until we got back to the clearing. We all went into my den and settled in. Lu had to go back to Kyle, but she instantly came back to keep an eye on Quinn.

Jay left to go tell my dad that I was back, and Quinn didn't want to go home. I walked out of my den to see my dad looming over me. He then picked me up and hugged me saying, "I'm sorry I didn't notice earlier... you're lucky to have such great friends." He then put me down and went back into his den to rest. Lu said, "Quinn go home!" Quinn said, "No! Jay, you have to smell him!"

Lu glared at Jay, but he shrugged and smelled my balls as well. I heard Jay quietly purr, but he stepped back without saying a word. Quinn licked my balls again, but this time, it was harder to sit down. Lu said, "At least Jay has some sense. Stop licking him!" Quinn looked away and said, "Please be my mate, Birch..." I looked at him and said, "Wait... what?"

Lu shouted, "What is wrong with you!? That's impossible in so many ways!" Quinn flattened his ears and he said, "I... I loved him even before he could go into heat!" Jay looked at him in shock and Lu just got angrier. Then Jay said, "But... you always kept going on about getting a mate... and you're always hitting on other girls."

Quinn said, "That was so I could get rid of those feelings. But... now that Birch can go into heat my dream can come true!" I didn't know what to say. Jay was looking away, and Lu left. Slowly, my answer came to mind, and I said, "No... sorry Quinn." It was all so confusing until Quinn shook his head and said, "Wait... what happened...?"

Jay said, "I think Birch's scent is like a drug or something. You really got Quinn over the edge." Quinn said, "I'm getting kind of dizzy... I'm going to my den..." As proof, he stumbled into his den and instantly started snoring. Jay said, "So... I guess this is good night-" I stopped him by asking, "You were looking for me because you knew I was in heat, right?"

Jay looked into my eyes and said, "You're right. When you first went into heat, I thought it was some girl. I walked outside, but I only saw Joy. I wanted to talk about what happened last night with you, but when I got into your den, I realized that you were the one in heat because your mother could. I looked for you, but you were being captured by King Crow when I found you. I'm sorry that I couldn't do anything..."

I purred and said, "Will you... help me out, Jay?" He smiled and said, "Gladly." Luckily, there was no one else out in the clearing. I walked out, and I looked at the moon. It wasn't completely full, but it still counted. Jay walked to me, and we touched noses. We then walked out of the clearing, and to the river where we always hang out.

Jay asked me, "Are you sure about this?" I nodded and said, "I know how much you care about me. I'm ready for you."
