185 On the Observatory

The central academic building covered a large area with four entrances from various directions. Zhang Zian and Old Time Tea both walked around the building and confirmed that the Elfin wasn't there before they entered the building.

The ground floor was busy. The shiny marble floor was reflecting everything above it. Looking up, the high ceiling could make people dizzy. Four elevators and an extra one for teachers were all full. Many students were waiting to get on the next ride.

Although he didn't want to get in the crowded elevator, climbing up the stairs sounded less attractive. Zhang Zian decided to take the elevator and take the stairs down one floor at a time.

He squatted down and said, "Grandpa Tea, let's take the elevator. Jump up to my shoulder so it will be more comfortable for you."
