3 Chapter 3

Far from the human's settlement, out of anyone's reach, surrounded by very thick trees of the Arians forests from all its panes is a very beautiful Japanese-like gothic edifice with tatami flooring, sliding doors, and wooden verandas circling the building. A building which dates more than five hundred years back but later seized and now owned by Mrs Alberta Halls for about a hundred and fifty years, now!. She created a school known as "Perverted Academy". A perfect place for a vacation, free from human pollution and also protected by some magical spell.

The school is a complete secret to all and especially to humans, no one out there knows about the existence of the school.

The school had turned into a home for the few young obscure creatures who were left orphans or homeless after the great massacres which occurred many years back in the human's world, resulting in an extension of species for the obscure creatures. These are for the few species who struggled to survive by escaping to the Arians forest for refuge. A forest very far away from the human settlement where all obscure creatures initially lived.

Some will still ask, Why is such a school a secret?.

It's obvious!. About fifty years back, human decided to detach themselves from obscure creatures by organising a great massacre which the named "Purgation".

Humans have always felt jealous, insecure and astonished by were creatures allotted with supernatural powers which they couldn't understand anything about. So for security reasons, eliminating all the weird creatures living amongst them was their best option and also the best way to conserve their species while creating a secure environment for their offspring.

After their very long day of class, the student went to the canteen for lunch before retiring to their respective dormitories or rooms to rest.

Every student was hungry but the young Nadia was hungrier. Her stomach had started grumbling, rendering her uncomfortable since she had nothing for breakfast since morning. Also, she wasn't used to staying hungry for such a long period of time because back in the orphanage Miss Helena always assured them with three square meals and sometimes more whenever there was an opportunity.

Eagerly, Nadia picked up a tray from where they were stocked as every other student did, then she passed for all her round and she was served all the necessary in the tray, which was; rice with fried bean, a little sausage, one apple, one banana, one hundred millilitres plastic juice and two hundred millilitres of water.

With her empty, grumbling stomach she happily rolled off the cooks, recklessly scrolling to the nearest seat where she could eventually devour her food in a truce. So she walked without minding anyone around her, her only focus was the tray in her hands and where she could seat.

Emily, Luther's girlfriend saw Nadia approaching her path with so much zeal. Nadia didn't even notice that she was crossing Emily's path if not she would have surely whirled round.

When Nadia got closer Emily positioned her leg on her path, so Nadia unstably knocked her feet on Emily's leg then she slipped on the ground with her hands clutched on her tray.

While falling, Nadia tried all she could to save her tray in vain. All the content of the tray followed her down thrashing on the ground and some on her. In the end, all she had was an empty tray gripped in her hands and her eyes to cry. Her eyes instantly turned red, she was devastated and her stomach wasn't making things easier for her as it kept on grumbling painfully. She had no strength so she paused on the ground for a few seconds thinking about what she could do to Emily. If only she had magical powers she would have tuned Emily into a piece of cake and eat her, she told herself. While Emily and her friends were seriously laughing at her.

While she was on the ground she struggled to pick up her banana and drinks she felt that she could still save them but Emily wasn't of the same point of view she mashed the banana with her legs just so close to Nadia's eyes which were already crammed with tears and it was really nasty for Nadia to glimpse at so she closed her eyes in suffering. Then she later picked up the drinks and spilt them into the trash can. Nadia got absorbed by her baffling wickedness, she clenched her first so that she could fight back.

After a few seconds, Nadia finally stood up with her fated eye yet filled with hope. She held in her tears with her grumbling stomach which had just started aching. She gathered her little courage and she moved to the canteen women who were already packing out. When she reached she begged for some extra food with the whole school staring at her but she was so hungry and she had no other option than to beg for more. She expected the women to fill a new tray for her since they all witness what happened to her and more to that Nadia noticed that much food was still left.

"Young girl, this isn't how things work here, now get out!" one of the women yelled with a fierce look while the others kept on packing everything and they left through the door which was just found behind them.

They stranded Nadia with an empty tray in her hand and this was very pathetic. This was the top of her humiliation and this time around the entire Canteen was mocking her. They keep on laughing more and more until their laughter began to echoes in her head like loud clatters with a horrifying tone. She felt like she was getting mad already.

What finally destroyed her was when she turned around and she saw Demond recklessly laughing at her with his clan members her world instantly came to an end. She couldn't take it anymore she ran out of the canteen. She sat out behind a tree where no one could find her. The cold wind blew in her direction, her stomach was still grumbling. She even thought of digging grasses to eat just to calm her stomach aches.

One of the many things they taught her in the orphanage was; always to be kind to strangers or every newcomer without displaying any sort of visible discrimination and most importantly, never to waste food. So the young Nadia was still shocked by what Emily did. She couldn't comprehend the ease at which Emily wasted her food for no good reason and with no fear. She couldn't stop thinking of the Canteen women who witness everything but did nothing to stop Emily, she couldn't believe her eyes and it made her grow mad with hunger making her more emotional. She felt like she was in a PERVERTED version of the world in which she grew up.

She was quietly seated outside cried the hell out of her, it wasn't helping but at least it was appealing to her heart and she had to let it out since it was too much for her to take. She regretted ever stepping her feet in the academy, she cursing the day she ever met Mrs Halls.

"Take this!" this huge male voice snatched her out of her deepest thought when she least expected it, she immediately whirled to check on who it was.

"What are you doing here? Have you finished laughing at me with your friends?" she barely yelled since she had no much strength, she stood up with tears till helplessly flowing down her alluring eyes. She didn't even bother to wipe them once she saw who it was.

"They're my new family!" he smirked "It's just your first day but you have already made yourself so many enemies?" he handed over a small package to her.

"It's easy for you to say!" she seizes that package from his hands and she rapidly untied it, to see a banana and an apple wrapped in a toilet tissue.

"I won't thank you for this, Demond!. You're supposed to fight for me for crying out loud!" she hit his chest with all her strength while crying. Her hit didn't even move him from an inch.

"Fight for yourself!" he wiped her tears with his hand lightly caressing her jaws then she flinched since she was damn mad at him and swerved her back at him but before she could turn back to him he was gone already. This didn't bothered her much at the moment all she was interested in was to put something in her grumbling stomach.

She immediately sat back on the ground and she started devouring the banana, like a hungry monkey. It was so funny to see and very pathetic at the same time to glance at such a hunger girl. When she was done eating she began to smile back. She wasn't full but at least her stomach had stopped aching. She could even see clearly because it's only then that she noticed the beauty of the environment in which she was seated before then it's like everything was blurred.

"Nadia, why are you eating out?" Mrs Halls unexpectedly yelled her name, though she was done eating by then and she was just admiring nature without knowing what next to do. Yet, Mrs Halls saw the pilings of banana on the ground and she hated when students litter around.

"I was!" she immediately stood up at Mrs Halls unexpected voice, she tried to explain herself and what happened earlier in the Canteen but her voice couldn't stop trembling like she knew Mrs. Halls was going to do something terrible to her.
