Periculum

Asudum found herself in a strange and twisted world, surviving with others she meets by playing twisted games and solving puzzles. But when she was betrayed by her group, she finds herself stuck in a deadly card game with a fellow girl named Maria. While both seem like polar opposites, with Asudum being bright and cheery and while tough, allow others to push her around, and Maria being anti-social, gloomy, quiet, strong, and has a hard time trusting people. However, both find themselves trusting each other and finding similarities as well as comfort. But even if that is the case, one fact remains. They are in a deadly card game against each, which only one can survive from. (This is part of a series of short stories in the same universe)
