Bryce's POV

"I think I messed up again" I said into the phone.

"Well hello to you too Bryce and I'm fine thank you for asking" Ryder said sarcastically.

" Sorry dude but I messed up big time" *what was I thinking* I kept pacing back and forth in the parking lot.. why did I say that.. oh God my mouth is really a big problem.

"What did you do now Bryce" Ryder said and I can hear him moving around in the background....

"Well I may or may not have said something to Cara"....few moments of silence passed before my ear was cut off with a loud scream from my phone.

"WHAT!! AHHH" he screamed and I had to pull my phone away from my ear or my ears would bleed. Gosh Ryder is really a girl, no mistake

"Calm down Ryder..jeez no need to be dramatic" I said with an eye roll.

" what did you just say?? Don't be dramatic?? Dude I just saw a roach and you say I shouldn't be dramatic.." wait this isn't about what I said.. God save me.

"Anyway see you at the training center bye" and he cut the call before I could say anything.

I stood a few minutes in the parking lot debating on whether I should go to the training center or drive to Cara's house and apologize. Well on a second thought I'd rather go to the training center cause I'm well...an idiot.

"Hey man wassup" i greeted Jim one of the guys that we train with as I walked into the training center.

"Hey bro, I'm good and you" he said while we did the weird bro handshake

"I'm good,have you seen Ryder around?'"

"Umm.. yes I have" and he started looking round the room " there he is" and he pointed at Ryder that was comfortably sitting on the floor eating a burger... This dude

"Thanks man" I said and walked over to Ryder.

"Hey Ride" I said and he looked up at me for a second and then went back to eating his burger

"rides!! What's up with you man".... He looked at me yet again and continued eating his burger

" Rides!! You okay"I said again and he dropped his burger with anger.

"Bryce Sebastian Pierce!!! How many times have I told you not to call me ride or rides?! My name is Ryder" he face scrunched up in disgust and I knowing what he is thinking burst into laughter.

I was literally rolling on the floor, he stood with his hands on his waist looking annoyed as heck "oh you think this is funny?!,you know what get up to the ring I have to teach you some manners" he said and stomped off to the boxing ring while muttering something like what was my parents thinking!?.. oh gosh

I stood up and started walking to the ring while trying to stop myself from laughing "come in here already" Ryder shouted at me while bouncing from one foot to the other without his gloves on, and anyone could see he isn't serious about this, I entered the ring and sat down on the floor he looked down at me and rolled his eyes before joining me on the floor.

" So what's up, what did you say to Cara"

"Well man I might have said something about her goals or should I say her personality" damn.. nothing ever makes me more confused than cara

" What did you say this time" and i narrated everything that happened earlier in the parking lot to him... "Well you are an idiot"

"I know"

"you are also an ass"

"common man I know but aren't you meant to be helping me"? I asked clearly frustrated

"No"

wait what!? " What do you mean Ry you are my only hope here, I don't know how to handle problems like this, common man I agree I'm an ass and idiot but please just help me man"

" Finally you admitted you are an Idiot" and he started smiling like a Cheshire cat

" so are you gonna help me now?" And his face went from amused to...... Professional?

"Yes, well for starters you have to text her or call her to apologise" how did I not think of this, I brought my phone out from my pocket and dialed her number. I've had her number for a long time but never called her and right now, I'm literally shaking with nervousness.

"Hello" I heard her voice from the phone and my heartbeat started beating fast.

"Hello?! Who is this please?" Shit..

"Hello it's Bryce.. I just wanted to apologise......" Beep and she ended the call before I could say anything

I looked over to Ryder who was trying his best not to laugh "Guess you messed up big this time" and I just held my head in my my hands while Ryder burst into laughter

"We'll figure it out man, just calm down." He said while patting my back.
