6 Selvia Flicker

After slicing the goblin archer behind him, Max moved again as he sends multiple air blades towards what it looks like to be random directions for the three people watching him. But in truth, those air blades were precisely aimed towards the 14 goblin archers hiding in the forest.

When he finishes killing all the hidden goblin archers, Max then turned his attention towards the people in front of him. The woman was still looking at him blankly while the other two men were looking at him vigilantly.

Max smiled as he thought their actions were funny. He then walks towards the woman, his action made the two men behind the woman subconsciously move a step back.

Arriving in front of the woman, Max said, "Thank you for your warning."

His words made the woman snap out of her daze as she then hurriedly said, "N-No, it w-was nothing. You didn't need my warning."

Max didn't mind her stuttering as he introduces himself, "My name is Max Wefner, you can just call me Max. Can I know your name?"

Max introduced himself to the woman not because he was interested in her, okay, he might be a little bit interested in her but that is not the reason he wants to know her name. It is to remember her name and help her in the future when she needs help.

He was not an ungrateful person, even though he really didn't need her warning just as she said so, he appreciates her help.

"My name's Selvia, Selvia Flicker. You can also just call me Selvia." the woman also introduces her face with a red face.

Max nodded his head. He had not checked the rankings yet as he is too focused on leveling up. But he would never expect that a woman this bashful would be the 4th on ranking of the most monsters killed.

He did not even care about the two men as he can see that they were very vigilant towards him. It might be because they saw how he sliced a goblin into two with just his hands and from a distance.

Max was not really happy with those two as he knew that they are just like his so-called friends who had pushed him towards his death.

"Hey Selvia, how many people are still alive back at the temple?" Max asked.

"hmm.. 49 people," Selvia answered. "39 young and 10 old. 27 men, 17 women, and 5 children."

Max was surprised that there are still a lot of people in the temple. He had thought that they would leave the temple since it was the place where monster raids often occur.

He then began to think of what he should do, if he goes back to the temple, then he could kill the monsters in the raid, but the increase in his experience points will be small. If he decides to hunt monsters, it is not sure if he finds one and if he does find one, it would be in a group of five or six and that would be it.

Max doesn't believe that he will be as lucky as he had been for the past hours. Always entering a tribe or a den.

While Max was in deep thought, Selvia was in the same as well. She was surprised that there was no hint of lust in Max's eyes when he saw her. Also, the fact that he had no reaction to her name when he heard it, if a smile can be considered a reaction to her name, that would be it.

She was starting to get interested in Max, not because he is really handsome and that golden eyes of his are especially attractive. But because of his combat prowess. Even though she had not seen Max fight with a weapon, she can tell that Max is a master.

The way that he uses his hand as a sword, the air blades created by his slashes and his sensitive senses that even beats their skills. Selvia wants to dig everything about Max.

Women are the most dangerous when they are curious about something. And Max would have never thought that he had just signed up himself to a bumpy ride.

"Hey, Selvia, we need to go back to the temple now. The next raid is about to appear." One of the two men from the back yelled at Selvia. He did not even take a step forward to tell her normally and just keep their distance away from Max.

"We'll head back first." the other one also said and they both rush back to the temple. Not even waiting for Selvia to answer.

"Why are they so in a hurry? There's still an hour before the next raid." Selvia tilted her head in confusion as she looks at the two running hurriedly.

Max may have guessed why Selvia was with those two, without even realizing their true colors. It seems like she is an airhead.

Selvia turns to look at Max, she then smiled and her whole aura change back to the female heroine from an airhead.

"Max, can you teach me to fight?"

"Fight? Aren't you already good enough?" Max asked. For him, Selvia was already good enough to fight 5-7 monsters at the same time.

"No! I want to become stronger not just strong enough." Selvia said.

Max looked at her determined eyes, "You sure about that? I don't plan to stay in the temple."

"That..." Selvia hesitated.

Just as Max had expected, she is a really kind girl. She must be the reason why there are still a lot of women and children left-back in the temple. Max had thought that all the women would be already rape by the men since they are far greater in number.

He just didn't expect that there would be still a lot of them left. Selvia looks like she is still a virgin by the way she moves reservedly. So it means that she is still not touched by other men, and she is free to be touched. *cough *cough.....XXXXX

Max got a little bit off-topic but seeing that Selvia was having a hard time to decide, he decided to go check at the situation back at the temple.

"I'll go check the temple first before I leave. I'll wait for your decision in the meantime, but after the raid, I'll leave and you have to make a decision whether you're ready or not." With that said, Max started heading towards the temple.

Selvia followed behind him hurriedly, she had even subconsciously started to act like a disciple in front of her master.
