If happiness is the meaning and purpose of life, then we must be happy for all that comes into our life, for even misfortune blesses us if it builds our character and strengthens our faith in pursuing that which is good and noble.
Create happiness in life by enjoying simple things in this complicated world.
Joey's POV
We finished studying finally, more like she was teaching me. hell, I really suck in Maths. Suddenly she glanced at her watch then I realized that it was probably dinner time.
"I should go" She said. Go oh no I don't want her to go, what should I do?
Stop her idiot
Yeah yeah, I should stop her but, will she stay?
you'll know if you ask her bonehead. Just ask her, will you?
okay okay I am asking her stop cursing will you?

"Umm uh no, I mean you should stay. It's dinner time... uhh. My mom will love to...um.. have you"
Why the hell am I stammering?

I was back in reality with fingers snapping in front of my face.
"Are you okay?" the angelic voice said,
"yeah Um sorry, I spaced out," I said and My bedroom door opened and my mom's head popped in
"Hey, you guys have done with your work?"
"Hey, mom yep we're done. I asked sky to join us for dinner" I said
" Ohh great, I came here for the same thing. Come on come on let's go" She said happily
"umm no I don't mean to be rude I mean I don't mean to interrupt your family time and It's getting late, I should head home, " Sky politely declined and my mother being stubborn herself ordered sky
"Nonsense, you will join us for dinner, No arguments about it and after that Joey will drop you home"
"Actually about that, I brought my car"
"Momma I am hungry cwan we eat now" Faith came whining in my room.
"Sure sweet pea, come on, " My mom said smiling and took faith with her to the dining room. I glanced at sky and asked her
"Shall we?"
"Okay, but let me call my brother and inform him about it, yeah?"
"Sure, I will be waiting outside," I told her and went outside my room to give her some privacy and mesaged my friends that I'll b coming late to the Ice cream parlour for which they replied that they too will be late So we decided to go after dinner after that when she came out of my room we went to dining room

"Sky dear why don't you try some pasta? You haven't eaten anything" My mom asked sky
"Um thank you," She said as I put some pasta in her plate. I just smiled at her
She continued eating.laughing and chatting with Faith. In this short time, Faith was attached to sky. This reminds me of when we were in the garden

I was standing in the garden smiling and admiring the girls, how they look so happy and carefree. I did not notice someone near me
" Aww she's beautiful " A voice came beside me and scared the hell out of me
"Holy shit mom you scared me, Please check my heart if it is alright?" I said to her dramatically
"Okay first NO CURSING in my house and second You are such a Drama Queen" She chuckled and we both laughed a little.
When I saw her smiling and laughing, my heart filled with love and firecrackers. I know it's cliche but its true.
"You like her" My mom stated. I looked at her wide eyes
How does she know?
"No , No Mom I don't like her. why did you think that?" I said immediately
"Don't give me that look baby boy. I know, I saw how your eyes twinkle when you see her. I just know" she softly said and gave my hand a small squeeze. She was going to say further but sky and faith made their ways towards us.
"Mommy" Faith and sky came towards us smiling
"Hey, I think we should study now," She said and gave my mother a soft smile
"Sure. Let's go. Mom see you guys later"

"Sorry I am late, got stuck in a meeting," My dad said and sat on the table
"It's okay Ed, Dinner just started," My mom said in awfully sweetly, I know my Mother if she says something in a fake sweet voice means that person is dead afterwards. God bless my dad.
My dad cleared his throat and his eyes fell on sky who was seated beside me
" Dad this is Sky, my friend from School and Um Sky meet my Dad Edward North " I introduced them
"Hello Mr North, Pleasure meeting you," Sky said smiling
"Pleasure is all mine young lady but, please call me Edward or Ed. Mr North sounds too old " My dad said jokingly
"Um love where's Ash?" My dad asked mom I guess he sensed Ashley missing
"Think of angel and the angel appears, Ladies and gentlemen" Ashley announced herself and slightly bowed her head.
"Actually it's think of devil and the devil appears Ash, ever heard of that huh?" I said and she looked at me sweetly
"My dear twin, just because I am smiling doesn't mean I don't want to kick you in nuts, Do not underestimate the power of a girl " Ash said and my father chocked on his food. I heard sky and faith giggling beside me
"Ashley Sweety why don't you sit down and have dinner?" My dad said Ashley was about to sit and she notice sky sitting beside me
"Oh hey Sky, Wassup sorry, didn't see you there," Ash said
"Hey it's okay"
" I don't mean to be rude but what are you doing here?" Ashley asked Sky was about to answer but was cut off by my mother
"Sweety, Sky here will be tutoring Joey from now on. Isn't it great" Mom exclaimed excitedly
"Yes mom it's great and Sky thank you for tutoring my dumbo twin"Ash said and gave me the knowing look . I saw some mischievous in her eyes.
"hey, I am not dumb" I told her annoyingly
"Whatever makes you sleep at night twinny"
"Ashley" mom said warningly
"What? " She asked innocently
"Mommy cwan I get some pasta?" Faith interrupted
"Sure honey"
After that dinner went on smoothly

"Thank you for having me. It was really great meeting you guys. See you then" Sky said
"Ohh sweetheart bye" mom said
"Sky, cwan we meet again?" Faith asked with sad eyes
" Yes, of course, Fay. You are my best friend now, you won't get rid of me easily kiddo" Sky said jokingly and ruffled her hairs, after that she bided good bye's to everyone and we headed to the cars
"Um I think you should head inside I can go really know the way" Sky said
"And waste a chance to impress a girl like you, No Chance, NO FAT CHANCE " I stated and she gave me a confused look
"Kidding" She relaxed a little and left a sigh. Then I remember that I have to meet those idiots at Ice cream shop
Should I invite sky for Ice cream
Yep you should go for it

Yeppp me again, now stop arguing with me and ask her already, God what an Idiot
Oh goddess I spaced out again, Good going Joey North. I saw her she was about to leave
"Um wait, Sky Uhh there's this Ice cream shop which has best Ice cream So, Um I was wondering if you could join me for an Ice cream , MY treat " I asked her hoping she would say yes
"Um Joey I don't think,.." She said but, I interrupted her
"My friends are also joining me there, please come with me, Pretty pwease sky, pweeease" I gave her my best puppy eyes
"You know what you are such a kid and I would love to come " She said smiling
"I'll take that as a compliment, thank you" I thanked her and asked her for the keys of her car so I could drive
"How will you be coming back?" She questioned
"Don't worry my friends will drop me "

The car ride was silent, It wasn't an awkward silence, It was comfortable
I parked the car to Robby's Ice cream Parlour. We both got out of the car. As we headed inside I saw my friends in the corner arguing about which Ice cream flavour is best
Gosh remind me why am I friends with them
"Can you two just shut up, Gosh " I shouted at them. They saw me and replied
"Hello to you two Joey and What do we have here? A girl, Dude you've got a girlfriend? Holy shit" Matt started babbling
"Dude shut up, She's not my girlfriend" I argued with him
"Shut up I know you are lying to us, How can you do this to us bro. I thought we were best friends, Best friends dude. See Axel this piece of Junkhead led to us" Matt said dramatically, hearing this Axel hit back of his head and this made Matt stop.
"Dude listen to him, okay, Stop being a Drama bitch" Axel said
"Thank you, Axel. Now she's Sky, and no she's not my girlfriend. She's my friend and she's the girl tutoring me okay and I invited her for Ice cream. Now any questions?" told them
"Umm Can you go on a date with me?" Matt asked her which earned a hit on his back head by me
How can he ask her out? She's my girl
I looked at sky, she was blushing

"Dude stop scaring her, By the way, I am Axel, Nice meeting you, " Axel said and they shook hands
" Hey Precious, I am Matthew but you can call me Matt or Boyfriend," He said smirking, I rolled my eyes at him
"Hii I am Skylar but you can call me Sky" She said shyly
"So sky what Flavour do you like?" Matt asked
"Of course she like chocolate. Straberry is best" Axel said
" NO you Douche, She like Vanilla" Matt stated and they both started arguing

"Guys stop it" I roared
"Let's ask her okay? So tell me which flavour do you like?" Axel and Matt both asked her with hope in their eyes. Looking at them she chuckled and then burst out of laughing
"You.... you guys are funny and adorably cute" She said laughingly
What???
"No we aren't cute We are manly man okay. Never ever call a guy cute" They said but sky ignored them and continued
" Okay Noted. So about Ice cream I really love isBubble gum ice cream with sprinklers and melted Nutella on top, Weird I know right but it's really delicious. You guys should try it sometimes" She said with a unique twinkle in her eyes
"Okay let's eat ice cream" I announced. We ordered our Ice cream and started chatting, I got to know more about her like She's the sarcastic pro and she is a prankster, She hates Everleigh mee too and She loves her friends
I envy them
"Sky, You know I am starting to have a crush on you. You are single right?" Matt questioned
That Douche How can he ask her? I swear I am gonna kill this guy
"Yes, I am single but not ready for mingling" She replied
" Aww precious, you broke my heart"
Yep He's dead
We chatted more and Matt and sky are talking like long lost best friends. I am so jealous right now
After some time we announce that I'll be leaving with sky and drop her home and told Axel and Matt to follow Sky's car and pick me up from there
I and Sky entered her can and signalled them to follow. The car ride was short yet comfortable
I stopped the car in front of her house. You guys must be wondering how I know her house?
I am no stalker, I just happen to know.
"So I really enjoyed the night thank you" She started
"Yeah I enjoyed it too, thank you for coming with me too," I said softly. we got out of the car and so did Axel and Matt from their car.
"Holy shit, precious is this your house?" Matt said and Axel nodded his head agreeing
"Yep, it is."
"It's beautiful"
"Thank you, and thank you guys so much for Ice cream "She thanked them
"no prob Dollface," Axel said
Not him too, Now I have to deal with both of them, urgh
"Oh god not you too" Sky stated whining
"See you tomorrow Precious," Matt said and went to his car not before winking at her
He winked at her Urghhhh
Axel also said goodbye and followed Matt to the car. Now it's my turn to say goodbye
"Umm thank you really for tutoring and everything" I started
" No issue, In fact, I should thank you for tonight," She said softly
"So see you tomorrow," I told her
"Yeah see you, bye" She mumbled. With that, she went to her door and went to her house, I just stood there after she went inside I went to the car and got in. Matt started driving when we reached my house I slide out of the car so did Axel and Matt
"Dude We just want to tell you that Sky is really very precious and a keeper and before you ask us how do we know? the answer is we just do okay, We're your best friends" Mattew stated I just stared them shocked
How?
"Yes Joey, I Swear in just short time we just felt this connection towards her. She's is just like Maggie to me " Axel said
Maggie is Axel's younger sister who died two years ago due to cancer
"Yes, she is like a sister to me I never really have, Back there we were only messing with you " Matt said and I recovered from the shock
"Am I that obvious?" This question first slipped from my mouth
"Yeah dude " they said it together and we all burst out of laughing
After that chat when I entered my house My mom and Ashley popped out of the kitchen and stared me weirdly
"What?" I narrowed my eyes at them
"So how was your date?" mom questioned
"Mom it wasn't a date, I was just dropping her home" I stated
"So what about Robby's Ice cream parlour, You took her there," Ashley asked
"How?..... We're you guys eavesdropping?" I looked at them with my wide eyes
"Don't blame me It was mom's idea, I just joined her, besides I didn't had anything better to do" Ashley informed
"Momm "
"Hushh boy don't give me that tone. And I was not eavesdropping, I just happen to be at right place at the right time. Now please tell me how was your date?" Mom started rambling
"As I said, mom, it wasn't a date. Yes, I took her to the parlour and we met Axel and Matt there and we chatted a little, ate our Ice cream and later I dropped her home okay happy" I narrated them the story
"Aww that's okay, That is a good start my boy," Ash said
"You, you devil you told mom about sky " I accused Ashley but, mom cut me off
"No, Ashley did not told me anything I figured it out on my own okay and I once saw her picture in your phone and that day at theatre saw you looking at her and don't forget about today. So I put two and two together and viola" My mom told and I and Ashley looked at her mouth open
I blushed a little
"Joey, If you love her please don't break her heart, She's a gem" My mom softly said and patted my back and went to her room
"I don't intend to" I softly replied and smiled a little
"She is right you know, See you at morning, J," Ashley said and I nodded my head
"Good night Ash" with that went to my room and lay on my bed and removed a frame from the drawer beside the bed. It was the picture of Sky. I took it secretly when no one was looking
"I love you " I whispered to her although she can't hear it and kept the frame back to its place and went back to sleep
This was the best day of my life
Unknown's POV
I entered my room which contains pictures of love of my life Sky. I looked at every picture lovingly
"I love you so much Sky, you can never imagine. You are my mine and only mine to love Skylar Malvon" I whispered dangerously
I went to the room where I can keep my eyes on love and saw her smiling at the doorstep
I also saw three guys talking with her I clenched my hands so tightly that it has started turning white.
After that two of them went to the car and the guy hate the most is standing threre Talking to my girl smiling and Sky is blushing
"How can she do that?" I whispered to myself
"Don't worry sweetheart you'll be mine soon and Joey North you are not gonna steal my love of my life, not now not ever. She's mine and only mine" I smirked evilly and started laughing loudly
