I went to my locker and suddenly I felt a presence behind me

I laughed because she is trying really hard to startle me

"I know, now come on, "He said as I walk on the bridge to a treehouse

"Ashley and I found this place while playing. We instantly love it. So my father built a treehouse here so we could come here and relax. This is our spot. Only Ashley and dad know about this place. not even Maa and boys knows about it"

"Why did you bring me here" I found my voice after this after this shocking confession
"I don't know I just thought you need to spend some alone time . Sky I know you are upset, Nick is your best friend.What he did today made you sad and Believe me when I say I cannot see you sad, HENCE, I brought you here. Sky, you can come here whenever you want! This can be your secret place too" He said jokingly and handed me the house keys and winked at me
My heart just skipped a beat

"Joe you really do-" He cut me off
"Please keep it okay," he said softly and handed me the keys and I took them
"I feel so special" I said
"You are special sky, at least to me you are.." The last part was almost inaudible may be he didn't want that to hear me and I didn't dare to ask him about what he meant but i felt butterfly in my belly. Joey has that effect on me
We talked until I realised it was time to go home
With this talk I got to know more about him
It was very relaxing
I felt very comfortable with him
I also opened up to him a little

"First it wasn't a date Astra, he just took me somewhere to clear my head That's all and Second He is not my guy" I mumbled
"Shut up, That boy is totally in heads over heels with you. Everyone knows except you. You, my child, are clueless" She said but I ignored her and turned back to remove my books
A note fell down as I removed my book
I frowned and picked up the note
"Wooooo, Somebody got a love letter" Astra started teasing meI ignored her and opened the note
"When a male penguin falls in love with a female penguin, he searches the entire beach to find the perfect pebble
Open the box"
After reading the note I search for the box in the locker
"What are you looking for?" Astra asked
"Found it" I whispered. In the box was a heart-shaped pebble
I looked at it quizzically
As I was staring at the box, Astra snatched the note
"EEEEEEEEEEE, Oh My God This is so sweet!!!"
Damn my ears
"Who gave you this?" She asked
"I don't know,"
"Whoever this guy is, he is hell of a romantic guy"
"Who is romantic?" we both looked behind to see Axel, Joey and Matt coming towards us
" Sky got a secret admirer," Astra said teasingly
I look at Joey he didn't look happy because his hand were clenched in fist

"What? Who gave you that?" Matt snatched the box and the note
After looking at the note he looked at Joey as if they are having a secret conversation
Matt gave the box and the note to Joey. He looked at it and asked with clenched Jaw
"Who gave this to you Sky?"
"I don't know, I found it in my locker" I mumbled
What's happening
"Did you saw anybody keeping this?" Axel asked and Astra and I shook our heads
"Give this to me Joe, don't worry I'll see into it" Matt said
The bell rang signalling us that its time for the class
"Guys no need to worry okay, I think someone is just pulling a prank on me!" I explained to them
"Maybe, maybe not. Sky if this is prank we will leave it but, if this shit is real then we have to be careful okay?" Axel said
I sighed big time but answered okay
We went to our respective class. I and Astra took our seat in the middle
The class went on smoothly until it was interrupted when nick entered the class
"Well Mr. Nicholas Anderson you are late "
"I am sorry sir, this won't happen again" Nick apologised
I and Astra shared concerned eyes because When we saw Nick, he was looking very tired and stressed
"Well then take your seat, I need to finish my class"
Nick made his way towards us and sat next to me. He was silent the whole class Astra noticed it too and whispered to me "I hope he is fine" for which I whispered back" Me too"
Bell rang Signalling that the class is over
I made my way out so did Astra
"Sky" I heard a shout behind me which belongs to Nick
"Sky" he whispered again and Astra glared him and muttered
" Butthole"
Nick sighed a big time
"Look Buttercup I am really sorry for what I did the other night. I am really really sorry. believe me, I regret every word I said. You are my best friend sky and I really love you. please forgive me" He pleaded
Whatever he said surely hurt me but he is also my best friend, my brother and I cannot break my friendship because of a stupid argument
" Pizza and Bubble gum Ice cream with Nutella 1 week Straight," I said
"Done" He agreed instantly and hugged me
"God, I missed you so much. I am so Sorry buttercup"
" I missed you too" I pouted
" Oh come on now don't make me feel alone here," Astra said
"Come here you" We group hugged
Thank god everything is Okay now
"Tell me, girls, what did I miss?"
" Joey and Sky went on a date" Astra announced and Nick looked at me wide eyes
" It wasn't a Date guys" I mumbled
"Detailssss now" Nick demand
