1 1. Ball Gown

(In the Jiang family's house)

"Father... mother..." a beautiful woman called her parents.

She ran towards Sonya and Jerry in the living room.

Her eyes were puffy from crying. She then complained to her parents.

This woman was Tara Jiang, the eldest daughter of the Jiang family.

She was a beautiful woman, with white skin, small lips, brown eyes with long lashes, and shoulder-length hair.

She was such a brilliant and friendly woman, but a little spoiled. Both of her parents loved her.

Behind Tara, stood a girl whose face was similar to her, but not at all.

This girl had a more sharp nose and long black hair that hung down to her waist.

That girl was Tiara Jiang, Tara Jiang's twin sister. Tiara had a gentle, simple, friendly, but she was often downtrodden.

"Hik... hik ... mother, look at my broken clothes! This is all because of Tiara. She had deliberately ripped it!" Tara said, complaining to her mother and crying.

"Tiara! Is it true what Tara said?! You've ruined the dress?!" Jerry Jiang asked with a little emotion.

That man looked at the dress that was in Tara's hand, which had torn its bottom.

"No! It's all not true! I never rip the dress. It's all because Tara wasn't careful when trying on the dress in her room. The dress caught on nails and torn," Tiara replied, trying to explain the truth.

"Huh! There's clear evidence but you are still dodging it and do not want to admit," said Sonya, defending Tara.

Tara secretly smiled. Her goal of making Tiara a scapegoat had been achieved.

"Hmm," A smile appeared on the corners of her lips.

"Ma, what should I do? What should I wear at the birthday party tomorrow?" Tara whined, sulking to Sonya.

"Honey, how about we buy a dress right now?" Sonya asked, trying to persuade Tara.

"No! I don't want to! Anyway, I want the same dress as mine!"

Tara just refused. It wasn't the dress problem, but she just wanted her sister's dress.

"Dear Tara, you know. The dress was specially ordered and took months to make."

Jerry shook his head.

He was dizzy with his eldest daughter's request. It was clear that he couldn't fulfill it for now.

Sonya, who was so affectionate with Tara, started racking her brains.

She was looking for a way to fulfill Tara's request.

Sonya didn't want her beloved child to be disappointed.

"Honey, what if Tiara gave her dress to you? In exchange for your broken dress," said Sonya.

"Yes! I agree,", said Tara.

"No! I won't give my dress! I'm not wrong and I never break her dress!" said Tiara defensively.

"Tiara, shut up! Take and give your dress to Tara!" Jerry snapped.

"But Pa...."

"No buts, take it now!" Jerry ordered.

Tiara ran to her room with teary eyes and burst into tears when she arrived at the room.

"Why? Why do they treat me like this? I'm also their daughter, right? Why do mother and father not believe me, even though I tell the truth?".

Tiara wiped the tears that trickled down her cheeks.

She immediately rushed to take a birthday dress from her wardrobe.

"Here! Are you satisfied?!" she said and threw his dress to Tara's face.

"You are not willing? You have no manners!" said Sonya.

Tara smirked. She was satisfied that her goal of taking Tiara's dress was successful.

She knew very well that her mother must be on her side.

"Hmm, no one can look prettier than me at tomorrow's party."

"Tiara, take this and buy a new dress that you like!" said Jerry, handing her his credit card.

All the way to the shop, Tiara thought she was the real child of the Jiang Family or not.

Why did her parents treat her differently with his sister, Tara Jiang ?

Tiara took the credit card and walked away from the living room.

She felt that whatever explanation she gave would be useless.

Her parents wouldn't believe it either.
