Ch 4 Running away from the Hunters

Outside the building, near another building.

Inside a dark alley, a person with a well built physique was standing.

The men's back was facing the wall of the building, resting his back on the wall,he was on his phone.

Looked like he was calling somebody, after sometime the call finally connected.

He said in a deep voice "professor, I am at the location With the device you gave me."

"I was searching for the person but suddenly the signal stopped. I was looking at the problem and suddenly I found out that the building was covered by a group of mutant hunters. They were also searching for that person, knowing that fighting is not a correct choice. Now I am outside the building. Should I wait here or should I run away?"

On the other end of the phone.

the professor was silent, putting the phone on hold. He looked in the direction of his assistant, The man was covered with hairs, the colour of skin which was not human-like.

the man was none other than beast the super genius.

After hearing the report both professor and beast were discussing what to do.

professor "I don't think we should wait there because from the signals it looks like the mutant which awakened was a low level, we cannot lose metal fist. Fighting the hunter squad will only bring more hate towards us."

"Professor, I also think that we need to find the mutant."

"If we don't, who knows what he will do. like a normal person losing his normal life and now hunted by others there are chances he will take an extreme route."

"he may become extremist, we cannot let that happened we need to find him soon and from the looks of the signal it looks like He ran away"

"So professor we should put focus on him"

"You can focus on him but you should also look for other mutants. Who knows if brotherhood is also searching for him, he may not be an extremely strong mutant, but you can also become a fighter. We cannot let that happen. It's already very hard for us to live in this world; we cannot bring more hate towards us."

Beast, after listening to what the professor said, also thought about this but before that he called back Iron fist and gave orders.

"You should come back, it looks like he's already run away. we can find him afterwards your safety is more important now"

" fighting the hunters, who are train to fight mutants may bring harm so leave. Do we need to send support?"

"I don't think so, there only 12 peoples, also I can handle them"

"Don't fight them, try to leave without killing anyone "

"I will try my best"

While metal fist was talking to professor and beast.

The hunters are already outside the building checking the signal and cameras they found that the mutant was near the opposite building with their devices they found it easily.

Metal seeing them running towards him disconnected the call and thought of the way to run.

His bike was inside the building's parking lot.

To run away from here he needs to get the bike and to get the bike he needs to throw away the tail from hunters.

Jin saw the squad member running towards stairs, he wanted to follow but decided against it. He knew that if he followed there may be a fight between that mutant and squad, this fight May involve him if he is too near.

There is less chance he will join the fight but fighting may connect him there. You don't want to take chances, bring attention to himself and from a hunter's perspective now he is a common civilian and you want to keep this for as long as possible.

Thanking about this he closes the door and what happened to the mutant below he doesn't care. He may feel pity for him but that's all and they are strangers.

Iron fist knew that he needed to make it quick.

Faster he get over this, the faster he can leave.

fighting with these people will only waste time and he doesn't want to take a chance who knows if they will have a helper or backup.

Thinking about this he ran towards the parking

The hunter also caught with him

The hunters fired and he dodged.

Knowing that he was cornered. He took out a smoke bomb, he didn't want to use it, as this was not his style but he had no choice.

he pulled the pin and throwed the bomb towards the squad

This smoke bomb was special, it was made by beast. The amount of smoke this bomb released was five times greater than a normal bomb. It also worked similarly to flash bombs.

It may not able to stop the squad but will blind them for sometime.

He didn't waste the time and used that time to punch the nearest member.

Iron fist was a mutant known for his strength, there was a reason he was known as iron fist.

the punch landed on the members chest, he didn't punch with the strength to kill.

because he knew killing is not a choice here,it will only bring more hate towards mutants and problems for them.

body of the squad member flew backward, taking advantage of the moment. he snached the gun and fired some random shots toward the squad he knew that they were wearing bulletproof dress, so if fired without any hesitation. he knew thus can't hurt them he just fired to stop the advance and he was successful.

The squad wasn't weak, it just that these were new members and were trained to fight mutants but trained to fight new mutant, who don't know how to use their abilities very properly, they were the hunting squad specially designed catch newly awaken mutants

Find the mutants best him by not giving him a chance to fight back and then catch them with mutant restriction chain, what they weren't expecting today was there another mutant who was experienced in fighting and was able to use his abilities properly. This was a big mistake towards them and they need to pay for it.

Iron fist after Seeing chance, ran towards the bike,it wasn't very deep inside the parking lot.

He knew something like this could happen, so he parked it somewhere from where he could run.

He sat on the bike, put on the helmet he started the bike and full throttle. He ran towards the highway as a powerful mutant. His reaction speed was higher than in normal humans so even at high speeds he was able to drive properly.

Knowing that there were chances some others would come to hunt, he made the decision and moved towards the area with more people so he could run away properly. It may be hard to move in a crowd but it will be harder for both sides.

This was some not something new he was experienced in running away

Jin did not know anything about this, even if he knew he wouldn't care less.
