"Phew…" Argen breathed out as he looked at Scathath, both focusing on each other.

Argen's thoughts were calm, just as Scathath had taught him to make them. There were many things she wanted to teach him, things that he didn't have time for.

He had decided to learn as much as he could, it would give him an edge against the gods. Argen didn't like it, but Scathath was one of the strongest people he'd ever met.

Law was off to the side moving her hands, her eyes glowing while she used illusions.

She had learned how to manifest them normally instead of them being fully in the mind, meaning she could make the illusions more realistic for others, it would help Argen gain an edge against his opponents.

Argen didn't move as he watched Scathath, waiting for the smallest movement.

It had only been a month or so in the shadow realm, and he was already on a different level than before.

It took a lot of trial and error, but Argen had finally started respecting Scathath. The time she had beat havoc and walked away had been the time she was most vulnerable, and during that time he decided she wasn't all bad.

Argen saw Scathath's shoulder move and tensed, only for the two fingers to tap his forehead.

"Too slow, maybe next time," Scathath said in her usual monotone voice, but he could tell she was trying to tease him.

It was like this for days, then weeks, then months, time passed quickly as they all trained, Law had grown more, even growing out her hair, not that Argen noticed she was a girl yet.

Argen had grown as well, he had become an inch or so taller, his hair had grown out, falling a little past his chin.

It was on the day Argen finally dodged the two fingers, returning his own attack, that he saw the true power of Scathath.

"Get inside," She said grabbing his fingers as she suddenly tensed up. She wasn't scared, but with her two "students" there, she didn't want to take any chances.

She knew none of the gods would have come, so this could only be one, the one god she didn't want anything to do with.

Irish mythology had shown him to be like a father figure, and he was, until he tried to rape Scathath and force her to be his bride.

It had been this that caused Scathath to not want to associate with gods, and the curse he had given her, the divine power she hated so much, was the biggest insult of all.

"Why-" Argen tried to ask before Scathath turned away.

"It's too late," she replied flicking her wrists and bringing out Gae Bolg, the same spear she had used only once against Argen, when she needed to show an example.

"Argen, something bad is about to happen," Law said, her eyes glowing as she saw snips and bits of the future, something she had learned how to do while learning magic from Scathath.

"Yeah… Scathath seems weird right now."

Argen didn't say anything more as a beam rained down from the shadowy sky.

"Ah… Scathath! I see you have made quite the home for yourself, who knew you had simply hidden away in the shadow realm, the place you were abandoned…"

A man of around 6 foot 4 inches walked out of the beam smiling with joy.

*Crash!*

Argen smashed into the man at high velocities while punching him in the face. He didn't know why, but something about the man had made him attack instinctively.

"Are you… Insane boy?" The man asked, his eyes glowing green as Argen's fist was trapped in that green energy.

"I'm perfectly sane, who are you? And why do I hate you so much…" Argen asked staring into the eyes without any fear.

The god smiled at this before his face transformed into a monotone expression and slammed Argen into the ground.

"That is none of your concern, now…" The god turned toward Scathath who was still in a fighting stance, waiting for Argen to be beaten before attacking.

"Scathath… Why are you so hostile? We have history don't we? You should be smiling to see your fathe-"

"Ah yeah I remember now…" Argen said interrupting and holding his head as he stood up.

His eyes were glowing a calm silver, he wasn't out of it yet, but controlled.

"In that vision I saw in the sea of monsters, you were in it, those gates… I saw what you did haha… You're just trash," Argen gritted his teeth as he remembered the man being tortured as the reasons for his punishments had been displayed on a screen type thing.

"Rape… I'm actually glad, now I can think of you as Zeus… And completely annihilate you."

With this Argen's form blurred and he slammed his elbow into the spine of the god, grabbing him before he could fly off and kicking him into the sky.

"I hate gods like you."

Argen said as he jumped up aiming for the god once again.

"Did you just compare me to Zeus?" The god asked turning midair and punching Argen toward the ground.

'This demigod is different, what is he?' The god thought as he boosted toward the ground and stomped into Argen, breaking his ribs.

"Ah… Right… I get what your lesson was now Scathath, I'm too emotional… So… Fuck it all."

Argen let out a shockwave of moon energy and bolted up, standing in front of the much taller god in front of him.

"You will be my first target, if not that you are right in front of me, then because you remind me so much of Zeus… Congrats on being the first… I devour."

Law and Scathath heard the words to the side as Argen smashed his moon energy instilled fists into the mans stomach.

'Wait… Did he say devour?' Scathath thought registering the words as Argen bit into the neck of the god and jumped away, using the body as a spring board.

Ichor sprayed in the air, the golden liquid flowing down Argen's lips as he swallowed the piece of the god.

"I don't know why… But I'm pretty sure I can kill you…"

——

"Hmm… So he learned it huh? I did give him the best advice, just be yourself, man am I amazing… I guess he'll continue devouring top gods to become an even stronger god? What do you think will happen Buddha?"

Buddha say mediating on the ground with one hand against his chest.

"I believe he will not kill all the gods, for there is simply to many… I am interested in what he will do, hopefully he can let go of the anger and rage that keeps him standing, for all who live off anger will fall."

The Monkey King nodded as Buddha said these words.

"I have no Clue what you just said."

"All in due time monkey, all in due time."
