30 Chapter 30

Apollo Pov:

"You have felt it too, we assume," One of the fates told him.

"Of course, I do. My ability to read the future is no less than yours, I would even say it is better," There were doubt on their faces at his words. He ignored those looks, they may have been revered by some deities but he wasn't going to feed their egos. "I'll get rid of this problem, it will be an in and out just like I did with Python,"

He wanted to just send some demigod or monster to do his dirty work, but someone his powers kept warning that his minions would die. He let out a sigh, why couldn't the uppidity demigods just accept their lot in life.

"Arrogant as always. For a god of truth, you sure do like lying," The other one said. "You will most likely incur the wrath of Aphrodite if you kill her son and possible Ares' or another one of her lovers who would want to gain her good will as well,"

"I know, I will make an enemy of Hecate too, if her daughter is with my target," He said. Even he didn't like the possibility of them ganging up on him. He didn't want Aphrodite to make him fall in love with a snail again, he still shuddered at those memories.

He couldn't even use the excuse of he saw him messing up in the future, his prophetic powers forbid him from telling others directly, just like how the Moira had to be vague with their visions. It didn't help that someone was befuddling the future either.

"Just give me the location and I'll handle it, hopefully no one will find out,"

Ezra Pov:

"I really wish Medea would just die," Iliana said with a sigh. "For someone who is famed for being a lovestruck fool and being betrayed because of it, she sure is haughty,"

"I have been going full mad scientist and began experimenting with a few brains. So it won't be too long before I create a spell or potion to safely steal someone's memories. After that we can get rid of her," I said. I had a lot of projects running in the background, if it wasn't for my clones I would probably be burned out.

"Good. Oh and my mother has been visiting me lately, taking me to theatre and all that stuff," Iliana bragged. "I am planning on attacking Hitler soon, I was thinking about taking the twins to let them deal with the humans while I attack the demigods with those two cousins you recommended."

"Good luck, I believe on you," I said before giving her a kiss and lightning away. I was going to check if Medea was done with the ritual, hopefully I will ascend soon. This entrance was a bit farther away than usual since we had to move since the fates found us.

As soon as I got out of my lightning form, I felt the shift in the wind. That was probably what saved my life. A fat arrow just flew past my face. The speed of that arrow was insane, far faster than all bullets I have encountered so far.

While I wasn't faster than a bullet, I could let my reflexes carry me. After the serum, it was even better, but now I had to deal with something that was far faster and my reflexes could barely keep up with.

I muttered a spell, one that would give me a 360 degrees view. It wasn't too taxing on my magic reserves but I couldn't keep it up all the time otherwise I would run dry. I took out a potion from my hammerspace and felt my stats temporarily increase.

'For fucks sake. Whose panties did I get in a twist.' I thought bitterly. It had to be the fates, they were the only ones that I have a hostile relationship with. I look in the direction where the arrow came from and saw a blonde tanned man with a giant bow.

"Fuck," I said as I desperately tried to avoid a volley of giant arrows. The person I assume to be the god Apollo gave a screeching cry and I felt like my ears were melting. With a quick spell, I disabled my hearing. Luckily I had the golden fleece on me or else I probably would have suffered brain damage. This dude wasn't even sandbagging, with every attack he was giving his all to kill me.

As soon as I saw he was about to show his true form, I closed my eyes. I only had my magic senses and my nose to guide me now, but luckily I didn't neglect this in my training regime. He zoomed towards me and for someone who once outran Hermes and was the god of light, his speed was no joke. He delivered a spartan kick against my stomach and I was sent flying.

My durability was comparable with Hercules when he was a demigod, so I could handle a few of his blows and I had a potion so it increased it even further. Keyword being a few, usually, gods restricted their strength when facing demigods but this man was having none of that.

"Hecate, mother," I said seeing if they could pick up to me calling their names.

"It's pointless, my sun is blocking any messages from being transferred." He said before in a split second he shot a dozen arrows, with a few embedding inside of me past my armour. It lighted me on fire but I grunted and pulled out the arrows even while I let the golden fleece heal me. "Impressive, just know it is nothing personal,"

As he was about to attack me, Crow bit him in the neck and he grunted before I sensed my raven burning alive. While he was momentarily distracted I shot a burst of lightning forward stunning him for less than a second before I assumed my lightning form and blitzed away.

He was quick to enter his chariot and follow me, keeping up with me even while I travelled at the speed of lightning. It didn't help that burst of sunlight would strike me or obstruct my escape route. I made barriers to help defend from those but they just blitzeds through my shields.

I could feel a connection to one of my creatures close by, it was a shapeshifting monster with decent strength. I got an idea and informed it to turn into Python, I saw a few books with images of him so my monster could turn into a perfect visual copy.

I quickly got behind it and let it shield me from the god's wrath. As soon as Apollo was close to it, I felt him freeze up. If my knowledge was correct Python gave Apollo PTSD so I imagined it was as good as a distraction that I could come up with at the moment.

Stepping into the shadow, I vanished from my position and headed to another country. I didn't want to teleport early since he would be able to intercept me if his focus was on me. I gave a sigh of relief before stepping into the Labyrinth, Medea better be done with my ritual.

I have to give Iliana the heads up to run as well. I hate people with the ability to see the future, I could understand why they would want to kill me. My ambitions wouldn't bring them a good time, maybe I would have left them alone after becoming a god. But now that they attacked me, peace isn't an option.

A/N: More chapters on Pa.treon/DickMcJones. I know you're probably wondering, why is Apollo so strong. Percy could 'beat' Ares when he was an untrained child. I saw that fight between them more like Ares was playing with Percy and when the demigod got a hit in he quit out of embarrassment.

Gods are supposed to be powerful and while the strongest demigods will have a chance against minor ones the major ones will be a force to be reckoned with in this fic unless they are playing with their enemies. The only hope demigods could have is to escape or forfeit their lives when a major god is pissed.

I am not nerfing the mc more like buffing the gods to a level one would expect them to have. Zeus could canonically lift a mountain and the average mountain weighs several hundreds of million of kg, so why would they struggle with demigods?
