24 Chapter 24

"What do you mean you are leaving," Circe asked.

"We have a quest to complete unless you want to do it for us," Iliana replied, shutting down her sister. "After I am done, I will visit again unless you don't wish for my company,"

"That's acceptable, I haven't even given you a proper makeover and I also need to educate your friend on what is acceptable to do to a goddess,"

"I am quaking in my boots," I mumbled unintelligibly before properly speaking up. "Hug it out Iliana we are on a schedule, I have been having ominous dreams lately so I don't waste too much time,"

With the use of a mistform, I summon another Helicopter. After the two sisters properly said their farewells we got in the vehicle and began soaring into the air. The storm has calmed down so we didn't have to worry that much, but just in case I let Iliana cast a magical shield around it.

While flying I use another mistform to summon an automaton to fly the thing since I wanted to read the books that I got from Circe's library.

"So we already plundered one place, what is next on our list," Iliana asked as she rested her head on my lap. I looked away from my book and thought about it for a moment. With a quick chant I cast a spell that would give me the senses of monsters and satyrs.

"I smell a few dozen cyclops a few kilometres and you know I can't stand the beasts," I said, while that wasn't the main motive. In Iliana's eyes, I would travel a few kilometres just to kill cyclops, my hate of most of them wasn't a secret to her. Though she probably thought it was because they killed my father and not the real reason which is them traumatising me several years back.

"Who would have thought you would turn into a racist, Ezra." She said jokingly and shook her head in mock disappointment. I just stroked her hair and smiled.

"I know, I am deplorable. It doesn't change the fact that killing cyclops is fun," I replied. With that, we enjoyed each other's company as we flew to our destination. When we were finally above Polyphemus' island.

"My magic senses are going off. It looks like something valuable is on it," Iliana said.

"It seems my sister Tyche is looking after her younger sibling," I said before jumping out of the helicopter while chanting the featherfall spell. As soon as I slowed down I cast another spell that I read about in Circe's lightning magic book. One that allowed its wielder to travel by taking the form of lightning for a duration.

I immediately took the form of a bolt and faster than the normal eye could see, I used it to move to the island and onto the cave. Lightning was fast as fuck so I quickly arrived at his cave. There was a boulder that covered most of the entrance, but I still had juice for my magic.

The lightning gave away my location, but I wanted to test my new strength against a worthy foe, so I didn't just want to kill him while he was unaware. Though I remembered Polyphemus liked to ask his daddy Poseidon for help and we can't have that.

"Who goes there," He growled out as I slipped past the hole with my lightning travel again. "I smell demigod, yummy."

When his mouth was open enough I stopped and shot a burst of lightning from my hands directly into his mouth, frying his tongue. With his ability to talk away, I didn't have to worry about Poseidon at the moment.

I equipped my weapon as I stared at the fat 15 feet tall monster. It was one of the strongest cyclops in the world so it would make for a nice benchmark and its fleece is tempting as well.

The fat monster tried swatting me with its fat arms but with gymnastics, that could make Olympians Gymnasts nut, I deftly dodged his attacks. When landing I slashed his arms. It growled at the pain and tried to attack again. With my newfound speed and reaction times, I could easily keep up with one of the physically strongest non-god children of Poseidon.

As soon as he slammed down his arm, I ran up to it and pierced his neck with my bident. Polyphemus screeched and smashed his head against the ceiling of the cave, causing the boulders to begin falling.

I caught one of the falling rocks and threw it towards my enemy, hitting him in the eye. I took advantage of its dazed status and leapt towards its head before punching him in the face causing him to crash against the walls.

I had to dodge the falling rocks while I was busy abusing the blind cyclops' face. He roared, clapped and stomped his feet causing debris to fly everywhere, so I had to pause my assault to dodge. Polyphemus was hit as well but besides a few pained groans it was otherwise fine.

Seeing this I ignored dodging in favour of continuously punching his face in. The debris was annoying and slightly stung but overall I could handle it. Our noise caught others' attention and I could smell other monsters approaching to investigate our fight.

Cyclops convened on our position but Iliana finally arrived and began to fight them off.

"You will remember that the son of your uncle was the one to end you," I used charmspeak before delivering a last punch against its face, causing a dent to form and brain matter to burst out before he transformed into dust.

"Incantare Mundare," I chanted and immediately became clean of all the blood and other stuff. One of the most annoying things about magic was the need to say the incantations. With that out of the way, I cast the senses spell again and began searching for the Golden Fleece.

My search didn't take long and I quickly snatched up the priceless object. When I put it around my arm I could feel it healing my magical energy at an astounding pace as well as increasing my magical reserves. "This trip has been worth it,"

When I returned back to Iliana I saw that she smashed the last cyclops with a boulder. There was a light sheen of sweat on her brow but it just added to her sexiness at the moment.

Time to stop being a little bitch. "You and I are going on a date, after this,"

"Wha," Before she could properly ask, I kissed her.

"This trip has been fruitful and I just decided you are my girlfriend from now on," Iliana and I had a weird relationship so she wasn't offended in the slightest, I could tell the number of times that she did a similar thing to me, so me doing it to her is fine. Will I regret asking her out in my moment of happiness? Probably not since we already acted as more than just friends with benefits.

"I am sure that isn't how it works but what the heck." She replied before kissing me as well. "What did we get,"

"I will tell you on the trip back home. For now, Crow has given me the location of a lot of things and I wouldn't mind killing more monsters," I replied. "Maybe capture some for some research,"
