39 CH.38 First Of Many

Before Christine went to collect, I put in a full week of work on finishing my very own bible and man did it take a lot of me. Creating a bible is hard work, especially if it circles a whole new religion but after a week of work, I have finished it, I call it the final bible.

The bible isn't that different than a normal bible except it focuses on excepting everyone and accepting me as the lord and savior. It goes into detail about how in the end we are all equal and as such you shouldn't discriminate, that's about the basics of the bible but of course, there are more things such as prayer and lessons that I made up, but look real since I took a few stories from mythology and remade them in my image, is it a bad idea to do that yes and no, yes because those stories are real and could tip off different deities but no because I only took the idea and not the stories.

I gave Christine the bible and she started studying it, she even started to believe it, which was because I made sure the bible had my energy in it. Of course, that meant that Christine would have to make multiple other bibles but with all the money and her new growing devotion to me, she won't mind.

Speaking of devotion since giving Christine the bible her devotion has been slowly increasing and the reason, I know that is because she does a daily prayer now, and also, I can just sense the devotion.

After a whole month since I finished my quest with Percy and the others and started this cult, Christine was finally ready to recruit some new disciples. Since I recommended the homeless, Christine had the idea of giving food if the homeless were to listen to her new religion, and if they accepted it, they would get to live in the mansion.

So, after making fliers and buying a bus, Christine went to the streets of New York City to find some new believers. And it worked, I mean nobody Deny's free stuff no matter how suspicious it might seem, and so a bunch of homeless people got onto the bus and were driven back to the mansion.

After coming back to the mansion Christine gave them the food she promised and started to preach my word, and of course, it did not work at all. I knew that this was going to happen, of course, I mean the only true reason that there here is because of the free food, this would have been a problem if it wasn't for dear old Christine's new ability, the power to actually heal and not just raise someone from the dead.

You see, I can't heal and can only raise someone from the near-dead because my power is just too pure and because of the fragility of the mortal body when they are introduced to my energy, they just can't handle its energy and blow up. But you see Christine might have my energy but hers isn't close to as powerful or pure as mine so it lets her do what I can do on a smaller scale.

We figured this out when I was training her and I have to say that it was a nice surprise, to say the least, so after discovering this we went with my original plan, heal people and have them join our religion and when we can trust them good enough, I transform them into an endling and start the new cycle.

"So, I can see that some of you don't quite believe my words," Christine said on a podium overlooking a crowd of homeless people.

"No offense lady but we just came here for the food," a homeless woman with a missing finger said,

"None taken my sister, since you're having trouble believing in our lord how about I show you the power he used to save me," Christine said coming towards the woman.

"Sure, whatever lady," the woman said rolling her eyes.

Christine said nothing to the eye roll and just smiled, "can I hold your hand" Christine asked in front of the woman.

The woman just shrugged and gave her the hand that was missing a finger, "I bless you in the name of my lord and end your suffering" Christine said and started healing her finger.

As Christine started healing her, the place where her finger was, a shadow finger came out shocking the woman and the other homeless people, but they were even more shocked as the shadow slowly started disappearing, and out came a brand new finger. After healing her finger Christine let her hand go and the woman look in shock at her finger, she started moving it, touching it, and even pinching her cheek to see if she was dreaming, but after seeing that she was awake she started crying out of pure happiness.

Christine seeing the crying woman hugged her, "do not worry sisters and brothers like you have seen today our lord will end all of your suffering" Christine said with a smile.

And just like that, the cult of the end started, after seeing such a miracle, all of the homeless people asked Christine to heal their ailments and she did without any problem, well of course that was because I kept feeding her my power so she wouldn't drop dead, I mean she only has one week of training she doesn't have that much power.

After hearing all of them Christine started preaching my word and slowly I could feel that they had a new devotion towards me, in the end, they all decided to stay and as such, each one of them was given a statue of me and a copy of my bible, and just like that my I had my very first batch of believers and I knew that it was only the beginning.
