12 CH.12 Snaky Business

As soon I woke up, I wrote in my journal what I just dreamed of, I've had this journal since I started studying the supernatural and mythology, to keep my thoughts on certain things and any discoveries that I make.

After reviewing what I just dreamed of I came to some conclusions, number one the animals that were fighting were gods more specifically Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades my father, and they were fighting because it would seem that Zeus has had something of, he's stolen and blames it on but of his brothers.

It would explain a lot actually, the weather nowadays was becoming bizarre as the new would say, the seas were raging, the sky was thundering and the ground was shaking and finally, whatever was going on here it means that I and the other kid that I saw in the dream are in the eye of the storm.

This probably means that Zeus likely knows that I exist and will try to kill me, luckily I don't have to worry about Poseidon, Hades has said that he doesn't blame demigods for their parent's mistakes, translation he has a good head on him, which I find that hard to believe with the way mythology portrayed him but maybe not every mythology is right.

After thinking about this for a few more minutes I get up and take a shower, after that I went and made pancakes with bacon. After eating I went outside dressed in black pants, a black shirt, and a black leather jacket because I'm a son of hades I tend to wear only dark clothing, and anything too bright makes me annoyed.

As soon as I get outside, I went to an alleyway and my shadow expanded, this was one of the new skills that I have learned in these four years, I was able to create a sort of inventory in my shadow to keep a few things that I might need, including my car.

Out of my shadow, a car slowly comes out and lands on the ground, the car is an impala more specifically an impala from one of my favorite shows from my previous life supernatural. As soon as I saw this car, I knew I had to have it so I stole it, now you might be wondering how I did that, well it was really simple just found the car and at the dead of night I teleported into the dealership and stole it, then changed the license plate, easy.

I get into the car and the engine starts with a mighty roar, I start driving to the library nearby, I don't have to worry about the police catching me because of how I look, and even if they do, I can just run away. I arrive at the library soon enough and as soon as I enter the female population eyes are on me, this isn't anything new to me as I quickly learned that wherever I go women of all ages will be drawn to me like a moth to a flame, at this point it's just annoying.

I ignore them and go to my usual spot and start studying the supernatural and mythology, I read a few books for a few hours until soon a woman came up and said hello.

"Hello, there handsome," the woman said almost making the s in handsome longer than needed, that was my second clue that something was wrong, most women here don't have enough courage to talk to him because he gives off a loner vibe and those who do have enough courage still stutter their words but this woman spoke almost perfectly.

Looking at the woman she wore a crop to with blue jeans and sunglasses that hid her eyes, she was a woman of beautiful proportions but the most interesting about her where her hips, they swayed in such a way you think they been doing that all their life it was truly interesting.

"Can I help you," I said in a monotone voice and keeping a blank face.

"More than you know," she said and then licked her lips with a long almost snake-like tongue.

"my name iss Yale and I just had to come and talk to you after sseeing you, It's almost as if you have something sspecial about you," she said always making the s longer than normal.

At this point I already figured out who she was, swaying hips almost like a snake, holds hers almost like a snake, and Is talking about me having something special which has to do something with my dream, of course, this would not make me come to my conclusion until she said her name Yale, it struck that she was one of the three gorgon sisters Euryale.

With that figured out I closed my eyes and put on the skill that started this way to see without my eyes, as soon as I closed my eyes I let my divinity show me the truth, the world became dark and in front of me the woman became a golden snake woman with snakes for hairs, this was an indication she was of divine origin as humans have grey outlines or I should say, souls. This is one of the perks of being a son of a god of the underworld the ability to see souls.

"I know who you are Euryale, what do you want," I said still keeping my eyes closed and pulling out my sword which I have named Cain which seemed fitting for a sword.

Her soul glowed brighter and she started speaking in a more snake-like manner "ssso we have a ssssmart on here, a ssson of Athena perharpsesss" she said.

"State your business gorgon," I said hoping that I can get some information about what exactly she was here for.

"Now, now thatsss no way to talk to a woman now issss it dear, dint you're mother teache you better," she said.

"My mother's dead," I said.

"Well, no matter you'll be joining her soon enough now tell me where the bolt issss, and I'll grant you a quick death," the Gorgon said.

'Bolt, so that what was stollen, Zeus symbol of power the master bolt, no wonder he's angry' I thought and then jumped away from my chair with cain in hand.

"Sorry, but I'm not planning on dying anytime soon," I said and took my stance.

"isss that sssso with that little power coming off of you, you think you can ssstand a chance againsssst me, fine lucky for you I love playing with my food," the gorgon said and her figure transformed to take her true form, turning her legs into a tail, her hair into snakes and her hands into sharp talons.

"Little, trust me, woman, there nothing little about me," I said and then let some of my scents lose making Euryale pause for a second, which I didn't waste and I attacked.

I was fast enough to catch her by surprise, but I only managed to give a shallow cut to the neck, making her hiss and start running away, withing seconds she was gone from my sights. At this time there was no one in the library anymore it was as if a force made them all leave, I stop and stand where I was waiting for her to attack making her think that I'm using my ears to tell where she was.

She fell for it and within my 360 views, she used her tail to knock a few books from a bookcase causing me to turn around and her to jump from the top of the bookcase she was on. But in a smooth practices motion, I turn just at the right moment dodged, and proceed to attack her cutting her head from her Boddy.

As soon as her head and body fell to the ground her head grew brighter and her body stop growing a golden color and turned to gray then disappeared.

The snakes were still hissing at me so force my power on them forcing pressure on their mind, they calmed downed soon enough and I picked the head of head Euryale closed her eyes making the snakes go to sleep.

"It seems I have to go camping half-blood," I said and left the library with the head of the gorgon in my hands.
