11 CH.11 Weird Dreams

3rd pov

In the dead of night, the city of Los Angeles is asleep, except we see a boy no more the 12 years old working out, more specifically doing pullups.

He is tall for his age standing at 5'5 and still growing, yes, this boy will be tall when he reaches maturity, the boy has dark as night hair which flowed like the waves, he has a face man would be jealous of and women would adore, but the most interesting thing about this boy was his eyes.

His eyes were abyss dark, the type that would pull you in if you looked at them for too long, his eyes had a shimmer of madness and genius as if he went through a journey that no human would ever understand.

This boy is Adrian kier Michaels the son of hades, and it seems that something is bothering our young hero.

Adrian pov

It's been four years since I've started living in this condo and in those years not a lot has happened, I've been training the best way that I know how to and most importantly I've been amassing knowledge of the supernatural, mythology just about anything that humanity thinks that doesn't exist.

For my training I've gotten better than ever, my reserves are bigger, my control almost perfect, all my powers have developed to a phenomenal level the only thing I need now is combat experience. I'm not an idiot that thinks that just because my powers have gotten better, I am more powerful I'm the farthest from it, I have no combat experience whatsoever, even now I haven't fought any monster for I am afraid that a god might find me, but I think that doesn't matter now.

I've practiced with a sword also with my mother's teaching I can say I am adaptable in sword fighting but once again I have no true experience so who knows what my true level is. And finally, I came up with a plan on how to get my mother back from the Diyu the afterlife of Chinese mythology.

At first, I thought that I just needed to be strong enough to get her back, get something to trade the soul, but I concluded that the chances of me getting something that a god would want to trade a soul for Is so low that it's almost no existent.

So, I came to the best option that I could, I needed to become a god, a god powerful enough to either force my way into the Diyu and get my mother's soul back or form a deal with Yang Wan the god who supervises the Diyu.

Now you may be wondering how exactly one becomes a god, well the simple thing is that to become a god one must first be prayed to as a god and have divinity in their body. You see in my research into the supernatural and mythology I've discovered that most mythology gods and supernatural monsters work like a sort of symbiotic cohabitation.

What I mean by that is that humans most of the time create gods from their beliefs and in turn gods create miracles for humans making that belief firmer, the firmer the belief the stronger a god and pantheon.

That's why your myth sees symbols of a god's power, for example, the staff of Hermes is used at almost every hospital, even if you don't believe in those gods, you will remember their symbol and in turn remember them. From the few times I have spoken to my father I've asked him a few questions without stating my true purpose and he has proven this fact, the question that I asked was why the Greek pantheon wasn't in Greek, and to that he told me that they tied themselves to the spirit of the west so as long as America lives the life, it would explain why one of the American symbols is an eagle, eagles are the sacred animals of Zeus.

So that I knew that I started thinking about how to become a god, and the best way that I found was to start a cult, with a cult I won't need to be tied to a pantheon and I won't fade when all the humans stop remembering me. The inspiration for this would be from the most powerful pantheon if you can call it that, the Cthulhu mythos by H.P Lovecraft, it has the most powerful beings that I've ever seen and one thing that I know for sure is that they barely have any following expect for cults and even then, I still felt their powers when I said their names.

"Okay enough of this time to sleep," I said stopping from doing pullups and going to my bed, even though I've been doing pull-ups for about an hour I don't have drop sweat on my body and I don't even feel tired, the only reason I'm doing this is so I can sleep without dreaming because for a few days I've been having weird dreams.

I fall asleep quickly as I've always had and once, I'm asleep I wake up to a weird dark forest, I call it weird because next to the forest is a beach, it was as if someone just cut two different biomes and smashed them together.

This time the dreams got even weirder, on the beach there stood a boy my age, he had disheveled black hair swept on one side as if he just got out of the water and had sea-green eyes, he was handsome but not on my level.

After looking at him I look at the sky where a battle was happening between three animals, a horse, an eagle, and a black ram. Each time they hit each other the sky would thunder; the oceans would rage, and the ground would tremble.

"GIVE IT BACK" I hear the eagle say.

"STOP FIGHTING" the boy yelled and went towards the fight, but the dream was slipping and as Hypnos left me for a split second under the fight of the animals I saw a red glowing pit, and then I woke up.
