Percy Jackson and the white forest -Charlie
As the fog surrounded him like a blanket, Percy began to think this was a bad idea.
The old dead trees looked like they were reaching out for him when he turned his back.
If he got lost, he would go mad. He shuddered, as the thought crossed him mind, but
ignored it and kept walking. "she has to be here somewhere!', he thought. He got to a
old, rusty barn, and thought it would be a good place to stay for a bit. He made a
makeshift bed out of some hay and drifted off into deep sleep. When he woke up he
heard voices and peaked over his hay to see people in full black leather clothes tying up
Annabeth! They must be very strong fighters, or they would be tied up instead. When
they left the barn, he whisper-called, "Annabeth!". she looked around, startled and
Saw Percy's head behind a haystack. Before she could say anything, the people came
back, this time with knives. Percy jumped out and tackled one to the ground and got up
And kicked the other in the face! He untied Annabeth and asked what they were doing.
she said they get lost people to come to their barn for food but try to eat them instead!
He was disgusted. What would've happen if he didn't find the barn! He would never let
that happen again. Percy dusted himself off and walked over to the kidnappers. "How do
we get out of here!" he demanded, while tying them up. They said even if he knew the
way out, he would never survive. The trees would get them. There was no escape from
the white forest. Percy got up and he and Annabeth walked out into the mist, looking
for civilization. On the way, Percy asked why she was out here, and why she ran away
for camp Annabeth told him that she talked to the oracle. The oracle! She said it called
to her in her sleep, and it said to find the cloak of death, which had been lost in battle
thousands of years ago. Whoever wore it had full command over the dead and was the
most powerful magic item in the world. It said that if one of the giants found it, they
could resurrect the titans and they would rule the world. She said the must find it, and
Percy agreed. They set out on a quest for the cloak. It was said to be In the middle of
the forest in a clearing. They walked for miles, battling the various creatures of the
forest, each a little stronger than the last. They must be nearing the cloak. Then, just
before sundown they stumbled into a clearing, completely free off mist. In the center
was a black leather cloak. This was it, the cloak of darkness. Percy walked up to it and
grabbed it. A low rumbling shook the ground, and they ran. They hear a roar from
behind, not daring to look back. They sprinted and sprinted till they could not, and saw
lights in the distance. They had escaped! Or so they thought. A huge rock sprouted from
the ground. They were trapped! They began desperately climbing the rock, so high the
monster could not reach the top. He jumped, and the earth shook. Percy felt the wind
on his back, he had to keep going. He was about to reach the end when his foot slipped.
He was hanging by just his arms! He tried to swing but could not get a foothold. Then,
his hand slipped. He was falling to his death. Annabeth saw him falling down and caught
him! They climbed back to the top, and they escaped, and got the cloak. They had done
it!
