Some Random Stuff Happens Here

Hey guys! Super sorry for the super late update. I got caught up with Fortnite and watching Spiderman: Homecoming, so...yeah.

I know it's an awful excuse, but can you blame me? It's Marvel movies we're talking about. I know that Sony took over the rights to Spiderman, but who cares. As far as I'm concerned, Spiderman is part of Marvel.

Percy Jackson's P.O.V. (First Person)

The next morning, I didn't really pack anything except toiletries. I mean, I left all the needed things at camp, and if I really did need anything else, I could vapor travel back. I was up at 4:30. I couldn't sleep anyway, so getting up wasn't much of a problem.

I brushed my teeth, took a shower, blah blah blah. The first interesting thing that actually happened that day was when I walked to into the kitchen to make blue pancakes. I didn't have Frank's special Canadian maple syrup, so I had to stick with Tony's bland old syrup.

C'mon! The dude was billionaire, and he couldn't even buy the good syrup.

Anyway, I was eating a giant stack of pancakes when Cap walked out of the hallway. I was facing my back to him, but I heard his footsteps stop when he walked in. I could assume that he saw me.

Is it just me, or have I been hanging out with Annabeth so much, that I'm beginning to sound like her?

Oh well. Okay, um, where was I? Oh right! So, Cap walked in and asked, "Percy? What are you doing up so early? Don't teenagers like to sleep in?"

I turned to look at him, a smirk on my face, "Really? I scream every time I fall asleep. I think you can guess why I'm up early."

He chuckled, "Yeah, well. I'm going out for a run. You can join me, if you want. I'll go easy, considering I have super-speed."

I shook my head, "I'll come, but don't go easy. If anything, push yourself. And how far do you usually go?"

He thought about it, "About seven miles. Are you sure you want to compete with me?"

I laughed, "Bring it on, Old Man."

He raised an eyebrow and went to the elevator. I gave him a mock salute before running to the stairs and screaming, "I'll take the stairs!"

Natasha P.O.V. (First Person)---

I woke up at 7:00 and went to the kitchen to find Steve drenched in sweat, gulping down water, and Percy laughing at him. I raised an eyebrow at the both of them. Percy looked like he wanted to answer, but Steve stopped him and said, "We went 12 miles. I ran of full power, and I feel like fainting." He jabbed his thumb at Percy, "Percy said he could run even longer if we hadn't come back. And look at him! He's not sweating!"

Percy laughed, "I'm a demigod. It's in my blood. No big deal."

Steve laughed, "No big deal?! Kid-"

"Not a kid," Percy mumbled.

"You ran, 12 miles! Without sweating! I'm a super soldier! Tell me your secret!" Steve screamed.

I had to butt in, "Okay, Steve. Calm down," I looked at Percy, "Why don't you two go train in the gym? Perce, I'll tell you when your cousins wake up. We all leave after lunch. Okay?"

They both nodded to me, Cap chugging down another water bottle. I watched Percy and Steve rush up the stairs, before laughing to myself.

Percy Jackson's P.O.V. (First Person) ---

I won the run up the stairs, just so you know. Cap was so surprised, I couldn't even contain my laughter. Oh gods. It was hilarious. He looked like a ripe tomato that was recently hosed down. It took a few minutes for me to stop laughing, but I managed to control myself.

Cap and I walked over to the punching bags. I started with a few punches, then upper cuts and jabs. Then, I completely lost control. Every punch reminded me of a victim, a person I couldn't save. Luke, Zoe, Bianca, Ethan, Jason. They were all gone, and it was all my fault.

My eyes got blurry, and I completely forgot what I was punching. At one time, I saw Kronos. Then Gaea. Then Caligula and his dumb spear. I didn't even know what he looked like, but I imagined the ugliest thing on the planet and multiplied it by twenty. So basically, Lester and Bes, the Egyptian dwarf god, put together.

By the time my punching bag flew off it's chain, I was crying and punching the air. My knuckles were bloody and dripping. Cap needed to sit me on a bench to get me out of the trance I was in. I immediately stopped crying, realizing what was happening. By now, everyone, including Peter and my cousins, was watching me.

I just shook myself and glared at Natasha, "You said you'd tell me when they woke up."

She shrugged, "They wanted to come see you."

I shuddered, suddenly getting chills up my spine, "Now that we're all here, why don't we spar? One by one, each of us. Yeah?"

Bruce shot me a concerned look, "I don't think that's a good idea, Percy. Your knuckles are bleeding."

I looked at the blood and smirked before closing my eyes. I willed some of the water in the air to heal the cuts on my knuckles, and just like that, I felt better. I opened my eyes to see a stunned Bruce and an over-excited Tony.

"How'd you do that?!" Tony asked, running towards me and examining my healed hands.

I shrugged, "Water powers."

He nodded, still very excited. Man, scientists, am I right? They turn into Leo when they're excited. Tony's eyes sparkled, "Instead of sparring, why don't you show us what you can do?"

I laughed nervously and looked at the clock, "Oh look at the time! It's 11:30! Wanna order some pizza? Yeah. Sounds good. You do that, and, um, I'll meet you all upstairs."

Tony pouted, "Wait, but Percy-"

I shook my head, running backwards toward the door, "Sorry Tony! Maybe another time!"

"But whyyyy?" He whined.

I saw Natasha hit the back of his head before I ran out the door and up the stairs to my room. I was so thankful for the fact that the clock in the gym was three hours too fast. It was actually 8:30.

I shut the bedroom door behind me and sighed. I flopped onto my bed, turning my head to my nightstand. I picked up a picture of me and my friends from camp. There was also a very angry Nico holding hands with a very happy Will.

I laughed, and I don't know how, but I fell into a dreamless sleep.

So, time rush made the chapter weird. I'm sorry. I tried. I'll make sure that the next chapter is actually good.
