11 A long time ago...

We all where sit in a circle in the middle of my living room, what was strange. In any case, I was nervous. I had already passed thought this, you discover your hole life was a lie and that some undiscovered word has always been there without you noticing. But it does not make things less scary. My mother next words would determine if I am mortal or a god.

I stare at her eyes, she stares at my eyes , but it did not change the fact that she started to speak with that, mother-telling-story tone.

-Well, lets see how I can start this story. A long time ago...I think it was in the fifties. Your grandmother was in her teens. She was careless and, being realistic, a little crazy.

She thought she was "revolutionary" for the time. She participated in some ... "research groups" that studied types of energies. Honestly speaking, they were fanatics. And fanaticism is the first step to creating a god ... Yes Leo? Do you want to say something? You don't have to raise your hand. -I look to the side and see Leo doing something risky. I say this because Annabeth seemed to be digging a hole in his face with a furious look.

Leo looks at Annabeth and Annabeth continues to look at Leo. Some secret conversation happens in the meantime because Leo slowly dropped his hand as he said. -It's nothing, Mrs. Jackson.- Then annabeth completely changes her expression to that of the good girl and responds with a smile to my mother.

-Miss Jackson could continue the story.

My mother seems amused, she smiles and continues the story.

-Then it's fine. Where did I stop? A is! The club. She spent most of her life in that. Over time the group grew, and they reached a point where what they were doing was not more research, but worship. Hidden spread your grandmother was the center of everything. She was seen as a messiah who had brought the truth to her followers. And then one fine day her grandmother messed with the wrong things, or rather, with the wrong people. She found a group of demigods wanting to make Olympus fall. They promised to help her make her dream come true. But in the end, all they did was actually using her as Guinea pig. They were trying to find out if it was possible to turn humans into semi-gods. It was also at that time that her grandmother met my father, and he was not a demigod. But the most dedicated fanatic her grandmother had. Because of the experiments, her grandmother and I were immune to fog. But as far as I know these were the only effects that that crazy research brought. They never got what they wanted anyway, they kept their hopes up, they made her drink and eat small amounts of Ambrose in addition to putting lots of spells on her. I don't know what happened next, I ran away from home and cut any ties I had with that crazy family. And ... this is the end. Yes Leo you can speak now.

-Now I forgot what I wanted to talk about, but this story was relatively short. I expected something more mysterious or dramatic, but now you have the two answers we were looking for in one. What? Didn't you notice? It's obvious!
