No

Violet had only one word to describe how her day was going. She was sitting outside of the headmasters office waiting to be 'disciplined' for -in her opinion- upholding their schools honor and all she could think was, NO.

To explain how she arrived outside of the headmasters office listening to the shouts coming from the inside it would be necessary to backtrack a couple of days, not too many days, just four. The day the stupid flowers had arrived. Violet's walk up to her dorm had proved almost all she would need to know.

Meeting Julie Hao the next day, had cemented the feeling.

With the 'flowers' in for the ball -which would be held in one week- they were sharing classrooms. The others schools instructors had also joined the fray and because the universe detested Violet, Julie and her click had been assigned to Foxglove. She had pranced into the room and shamelessly demanded that she be seated next to Kieren. By the end of the first say Violet had a headache, the girl was pretentious, intolerable, and arrogant to the core. Even Kuznet seemed vexed, and whilst several students of high heritage had the power to talk back to Kuznet, they didn't. They used decency to blend in, Julie Hao did not. Not surprising at all Julie's instructor, Ann Marc, seemed to think Julie was the perfect angel.

After lunch Violet had her first encounter when Julie approached her and so kindly asked her to "stay the fuck away from Kieren before her sordid peasantry smirched his perfect world." Violet had blinked up at her several times as Julie walked away under the impression she would listen, Violet did not listen. She continued to spend time with the group, much to Julie's rage.

Violet had noted that she was trying to be quiet about her attacks on Violet, it seemed she was aware Kieren would find it dissatisfactory.

On day two Julie has tried her darn best to make Violet look a fool: commenting on her lacking fighting skills, her appearance, and her patronymic. Violet had taken to zoning out her annoying voice with such skill that once or twice Julie had snapped her fingers enraged at her lack of reaction.

The schools on the other hand seemed divided in two, on one had many had joined Julie's team stating that Kieren and Julie were the true perfect match. On the other hand, her impertinence had driven many to taking pity towards Violet's condition as Julie's target.

Violet only slightly cared. It was proving harder to hold in her desire to destroy the girl, when she went out of her way to berate other school members who had no way of defending themselves. Whenever Kieren appeared Julie was honey, but like nine thousand pounds of honey so old and sticky you could never get out. Kieren didn't react to her, but Violet felt a slight trickle of pleasure at the fact that try as he might he could not hide the annoyance in his deep blue eyes.

Julie egged on by many who would love to take Violet down had loftily admitted that she and Kieren used to fuck and that it would only be a matter of time before it happened again. Julie had once again been ignored by Violet who had picked this as the perfect time to listen to music. Her statement had actually backfired against her, many of Kieren's avid followers were dismayed that she had touched him and wanted her 'gone'.

Alex who looked like she wanted to strangle something, anything, every time Julie appeared had taken to leaving almost immediately. Kieren, for his part, was trying to talk normally to Violet without drawing too much attention, he was certainly aware of Julie's games, and detested that he was inhibited by blood lines. Possibly worst of all was the fact that Zen and Julie were cousins, they seemed to fit in so happily and Zen encouraged her to come around.

When day three rolled around Violet had met her limit, she avoided the entire group like the plague. There were quite a few people Violet wanted to kill, but Julie just kept threatening to jump to the very top of the list. She spent the rest of the day with James, ignoring the burning blue eyes that occasionally glanced in her direction. James once again proved his worthiness whispering to Violet that he would help Violet get rid of the body.

Violet had laughed contently drawing a glare from Julie.

As the day drew to an end they were all called to the gymnasium, it was announced that tomorrow, day four, a friendly competition between the two schools would be held. Bodies and ears perked up instantly, the two headmasters proceded to explain that it would be a one v. one tournament. No abilities, just raw potential. Every student who wished to participate could, they would be provided a bokken to assist them. Once again the schools showed their lust for dominance with the follow up statements. There would be no sign up list, all you had to do to participate was climb into the ring and point out your opponent from the opposing school. There was a time limit of four hours and the school with more wins would claim victory.

Wins would only be awarded by tko.

Almost immediately the chatter had began, excitement coursing through the air. Violet sat quietly a feeling of exhaustion creeping In.

They were all told to report at exactly 08:00 and dismissed. James had nudged Violet a slightly worried look on his face, "she's gonna come after you. Violet I've heard about her, she's strong, and a dangerous ice user."

Violet had shrugged and departed, there was no need to answer.

Violet had been walking calmly to the gymnasium when muffled cries reached her ears. She located a girl, bleeding, a broken rib, and leg, shoved in a locked closet. The girl had whimpered when Violet approached and only with careful coaxing and upon healing her injuries did she relax. Apparently, she had spoken out against Julie, this had been the result. Violet's feelings toward the 'strawberry bitch' were reaching below zero temperatures, she had entered the gymnasium and sat as far away from Kieren as possible.

The first six fights were entertaining, adrenaline was running high, and shouts were echoing against the walls. Alice who was next to Violet called her attention softly, "are you going to fight?" Violet looked at her, "do you think she will give me a choice?" Alice looked frustrated, "she's so awful, I really don't understand-" they ducked as the unconscious body of a flower member came crashing into the floor. Violet noted that as the fights had progressed the injuries were heightening in their severity. As of the seventh fight the hydrangeas were winning with a four to three lead.

Julie sauntered into the ring a matching pink leggings and crop top, acting like it was a beauty pageant. She winked and blew a kiss in Kieren's direction before looking into the crowd. To absolutely nobody's surprise she pointed to Violet, a wicked grin on her face. Violet had shocked everybody by calling out that she refused and would take the loss. After several minutes of boos and you can't do that Kuznet had pointed out that it would dishonorable to reject a match and that it would not be permitted. Teeth gritted Violet had rose to her feet, pulling of her sweater she entered the ring causing a ripple of surprised at her fully tattooed arm.

Bokken's in hand their fight had began, Julie was good, but not excellent. It was clear to Violet that the snob relied on her ice ability far too heavily. They exchanged vicious blows and it was apparent that Julie had not expected Violet to be this on par with her. Julie began resorting to foul play, slightly coating her bokken with ice so as to create a harder impact. Julie was crafty, freezing and unfreezing the ice so the crowd could not see. Violet was feeling extremely irked. As the match prolonged, and she landed a well timed smack to Julie's ribs, true rage cracked Julie's charade. In a unseemly move Julie attacked Violet's face knowing that Violet's hand would come up, in the last second a shard of ice came up from the bokken and dug itself straight through Violet's wrist. Four inches of ice cut clean into her arm, Julie broke off the ice into her wrist and she landed a hard hit to Violet's face. The whistle rang for a time out and the referee moved to interviene.

Unfortunately, Violet snapped. Julie must have realized the moment it happened, she was fucked. Violet's grey eyes darkened as her body posture changed.

In the stands Kieren had suddenly shifted his weight forward, drawing the attention of his team mates, his eyes glued to Violet, a smile on his face. He was going to see a glimpse of the real Violet.

Violet flung her bokken to the side catching Julie off guard, as Julie moved Violet turned, leaned up, and elbowed Julie so hard in the nose they all heard the crack. Gasps echoed around the room, but it was too late, Julie's screech was cut short as her bokken was ripped out of her hands and used to break two of her ribs. Violet took her to the floor, in an act of true rage she began pounding into the other girl's face knuckles and clothes smearing in red as blood began to flow. Kuznet and Marc ran forward as the referee froze flabbergasted, healers were supposed to be meek. Kuznet grabbed Violet from behind dragging her away from a nearly unconscious, and heavily injured Julie. As Julie choked on her own blood and tears, Violet sneered at her, "Will you look at that, you can be high class whore, and I can still make you my bitch."

Silence... Violet shook Kuznet off and in a very provocative move yanked the ice out of her wrist walking forward. She ran her tongue slowly and deliberately over her injury, healing it, eyes locked onto Kieren's. Kieren was enthralled, he smirked at Violet mirth shinning in his eyes.

Violet left the ring all her injuries gone.

Thirty minutes later, she was sitting outside of the headmasters office.

Full circle.
