508 Gabriel’s Date Plan

"Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something strange about me?"

Noticing the surprised expression in his eyes, Gabriel asked, pretending to be displeased.

It took her one night to recover from her current state. This was also the main reason why she didn't allow him in last night and asked him to go back to his room.

His current reaction is what she wanted to see.

Why?

Of course, it was a plan to make him smile. If not for this, she wouldn't have dressed so carefully. It would be very tiring.

Her angelic halo had been removed by her, bringing back the divine light to her body.

"There's nothing strange about it."

Ren shook his head, but his eyes remained on her.

"Then why do you keep staring at me?" Gabriel asked.

"I just haven't seen you like this in a long time."

Ren didn't hide anything and immediately expressed his true thoughts.

"Really? How am I now? Do I look good?" Gabriel turned around so he could see clearly.

"Beautiful." Ren gave his serious assessment.

"Then, do you think I look better now or in normal times?"

Gabriel didn't let it go, instead posing a fatal question.

"... Everything looks good."

After thinking for a moment, Ren answered.

"Really?"

"Yes."

Although Gabriel was very surprising when she looked like this now, Ren was already used to her lazy appearance and didn't think she looked worse than she does now.

One pure and beautiful, the other relaxed and cute.

He thought it looked good.

"Enough. Let's go; I've planned a date today."

After getting the desired answer, Gabriel walked downstairs immediately, urging him.

"Yes."

Ren followed and walked side by side with her.

"Where are we going?"

He asked curiously after following her downstairs and arriving at the apartment door.

Gabriel had been very mysterious during this period, checking something on the laptop all day, and even playing games less.

So, until now, Ren still didn't know where the date was.

"Just follow me, and we'll be there soon."

Gabriel had planned her itinerary beforehand, so she could confidently answer him.

"OK."

So Ren stopped asking and followed her.

"The weather is very nice today."

Raising her head and looking at the sky, she found that the clouds covered the sun, and the whole sky looked gloomy, making Gabriel very happy.

"A cloudy day is not considered good weather." Ren replied in a low voice.

Based on the common sense he knew, a cloudy day was clearly not good weather.

"It's good weather for me. Besides, I don't have to be exposed to the sun. I don't want to walk outside under the scorching sun."

Although she was prepared that today would be very challenging, it was better to be relaxed since she wouldn't be able to endure much difficulty.

"As long as it doesn't rain, then today is a good day." Gabriel asserted.

"It seems like it's going to rain this afternoon."

After taking out his phone and checking the weather forecast, Ren said this.

"What?! When I looked at it yesterday, it said it would be cloudy today!"

Hearing this, Gabriel immediately approached and looked at the weather forecast on his phone.

She had prepared a lot for today, and it wouldn't be good if it was ruined by rain.

"Is it really going to rain? Can the weather forecast be relied on?"

Gabriel felt a little dizzy; it hadn't rained for a long time. Why did it have to rain today?

This was the last weekend before she left. After finishing next week's exams, she would leave the mortal world and return to heaven.

Even if she wanted to change her plans, there was no other time she could arrange, and there was not enough time at all.

The only time she wanted to implement the plan she made was today.

(Anyway, let's stick to the plan for now and try to finish the trip before it rains.)

After sighing, Gabriel made a decision.

The sky was responsible for things like rain, but even so, she couldn't do anything to change it.

She was just an ordinary angel; she couldn't delay the rain with her own abilities. Her abilities weren't that great.

If she asked for help from an acquaintance, even though she could do it, most likely her sister would look at her and ask what she should do if she found someone to change the weather.

If she was targeted by her sister, it would be deadly.

"It's okay. As long as we speed up a bit, the rain won't affect us."

Setting aside unnecessary worries, Gabriel regained her energy.

Her goal was to make Ren smile, so even if she didn't complete the planned trip today, as long as she made him smile, it would be considered a success.

It wasn't a big deal; it was acceptable.

"Yes."

Since Ren didn't know what arrangement Gabriel had made, he didn't say anything more after hearing what Gabriel said.

After continuing to walk for a while, he followed Gabriel to an open space.

"We're here."

After stopping, Gabriel turned and said.

"Is this it?"

Looking at the river, grass, road, and buildings not far away, Ren asked in confusion.

He had never been to this place.

"Don't you know this place?"

Gabriel blinked and asked a little sweetly.

"I don't know."

"In that case, let me explain it in words you can understand."

Gabriel took two steps forward and came right in front of him.

Suddenly, a gentle breeze blew.

Ren could clearly feel the soft breeze that came, not strong, but very comfortable.

And his field of vision was occupied by Gabriel, her shining blonde hair swaying in the wind, its amplitude small but very dazzling.

"I'll only say it once, so you must listen carefully."

Seeing Ren standing in front of her, Gabriel lifted the corner of her mouth slightly, showing a smile that was not easily noticed by him, and then said softly:

"A month from now, a fireworks show will be held here. You should be able to understand my explanation."
