Soon numerous beasts came savagely running out of the forest, the advanced mechanical soldiers immediately went to guard against these creatures

Although they didn't have energy weapons as usual and just swords to match the era, they could exert great skill with their swords.

They clashed with the creatures not much time later another beautifully decorated carriage joined them but to their surprise, a magical thing occurred various fireballs started appearing in proximity to this carriage and being shot toward the beasts they had never seen something like this before what witchery could have done this, although their advanced tech sometimes looked like magic, never to this extent, soon all the beasts were killed.

One of the knights of the mysterious carriage soon started galloping to theirs, he seemed to want to communicate.

*Knock knock* Astraeus swiftly opened the door

"Greetings gentlemen, our lady requests to speak, join in caravan as we are heading in the same direction"

"We agree not to mention we would like to speak with your master when we stop in the next city".

"I will inform my lady of your intentions" said the knight to Astraeus, turning back to his carriage

Soon the two carriages stood in formation, moving along the path of dirt and rocks

*humph* "they dare ask me to speak with them, looking at how they didn't use any magic while fighting those lowly creatures leads me to believe they must be some small nobles that don't know a thing" said a small girl that was sitting on the carriage.

"Malady it is indeed strange that they didn't use any magic but looking at the beautiful craftsmen ship of their vessel I would say otherwise, not even your majesty has something as luxurious"

"Then it's even worse it might be one of those pig aristocrats that just laze off greedily not even bothering to learn magic" the girl and her assistant argued

As they arrived, they were let in through the VIP entrance and stopped in a resting spot in which Astraeus and Maximilian disembarked to meet the occupant of the person that used those fire bolts

*knock knock* they walked into a cafe for nobles near the disembarking spot and sat in front of a 50s looking man and a short girl with blond girl

"We thank you for aiding us in killing the beasts that were assaulting our vessel" Astraeus said slightly, bowing

"I-it w-was what we thought it was right" slightly shocked by the godly appearance of the mysterious nobles that she had encountered

"And who might you be" her assistant went to the point

"I am Astraeus the king of the secluded land of the kingdom of human and this is my guard" said Astraeus while Maximilian slightly waved

"Kingdom of human? I have never heard of it".

"We have been secluded in the mountains, but since my coronation as king, I intended to make contact with the other kingdoms. May ask your identities too".

"This is the first princes of the simobad empire Matilda simobad, and I'm her assistant" he said it was quite shocking as one how could they have found someone as important just waddling by.

*Ahem,* "could we also ask how did you create the fireballs that appeared out of nowhere"

"Eh well according to the textbooks we just kinda imagine us compressing an invisible thing that is what we breathe, although I think it's kinda dumb because we don't breathe fire so how would it burn"

He slowly lifted his hand thinking of extracting the oxygen particles out of the air and condensing them in a spot and then rapidly compressing it in a single spot to create a spike in temperature to ignite it and suddenly a blue flame appeared on top of his hand as he continually thought of supplying it with more oxygen to keep it burning

"H-how d-did you do that a blue flame indicates that it is an advanced flame magic that takes decades to comprehend how can someone that didn't know magic be able to unleash it" Matilda with absolute shock in her eyes said

"I Just found it similar to the knowledge of my kingdom, so I used that knowledge to create it"

"I-is that so, would you like to accompany me to the royal castle" Matilda said thinking she might be able to help her kingdom in other ways than marrying a prince from another kingdom because if what Astraeus said was true then gaining the knowledge from their country could give them a ginormous edge on magic warfare not to mention the exquisite craftsmanship they seemed to have even if they were lying the pros of trying surpassed everything

"We would love to, this was the purpose of our visit in the first place"

"Wonderful, tell your coachman to follow our carriage, and we should arrive in no time"
