When Hana smiles, her left eye tends to close giving a wink illusion.

[Siren]

"The parts used here is already out of use. I suggest you to just buy a new one."

"Ah, I see. Thank you."

I dejectedly went outside the shop. This is already the third time and they said the same thing. Is it really too late to fix this?

A warm hand enveloped mine startling me. I turned to my side to see Yujin's blushing face. It must be really cold, her face especially her nose is red now.

"I'll take you home, it's really cold," I said, cupping her face. She leaned her cheeks to my hand and rub it, like a puppy.

"C-can I stay with you tonight?"

I sighed. I can feel a warm thing encircling my heart and my stomach.

"Sure. But call your mother first."

She smiled and nodded constantly.

"Then, let's go. I'm hungry."

"I'll go to college and study photography."

I announced while we were eating in the dining room. I've thought about it countless times and decided that this is the thing that I wanted to do.

Sorelle nodded. "Sure. But, are you sure about that?"

"Yeah. I've given it a thought."

"That's good."

Yujin glanced at me with an excited look on her face. I guess I will never get tired of saying how cute she is.

"Then... We will go to the same college?"

I chuckled lightly. "I can't possibly get in at your chosen school."

"Why?"

"I'm not that intelligent and besides, it's a school for doctors, right?"

Her frown grows even longer. "But..."

Sorelle's phone echoes the place, surprising us. Why does she have a fricking police siren as her ringtone?!

"What the hell is with that ringtone?!"

"It's to drive away bad people." She answered as she rush to the living room to answer the phone.

"You're the bad people!" I shouted.

Then it got quiet. Finally. I feel like having a heart attack earlier.

"Jin?" I called when I notice her being really quiet. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it. "Are you sad because we won't be in the same college?"

She nodded without looking at me.

"It's actually near where I'm going to study. We can still meet, you know."

"But..."

"Look at me." She shake her head and lowered it even more. "Jin..."

"I-i'm sorry... I'm acting like a kid... Not when you already decided what to do. D-don't mind me..."

I sighed and pulled her for a hug. "How can I not mind you?" She didn't answer but she hugged me back. "I feel sad too but if we really want to, we can find a way, right? I don't want to be apart from you, Jinjin."

"I know..." She mumbled.

"Now, Can you look at me?"

She slowly raised her head. Her ears are red. She must feel really bad.

"I'm glad you find what you wanted to do, Siren."

"Thank you. I'm actually scared..."

"Why?"

"What if I fail? What if this is not meant for me? I don't want to fail Sorelle..." I tucked away some loose strands of her hair to her ear. "...I don't want to fail you."

"You made me proud, Siren."

My chest felt tight and I suddenly feel like crying. This is the first time I heard this. It feels good, it feels comforting.

"T-thank you..."

I leaned closer and gave her a small kiss on the lips. It's warm and sweet.

"Ah, damn that work, it wouldn't let me rest!" Sorelle's loud and whiny voice echoes. Yujin immediately pulls herself away from me, blushing. I grinned at her reaction.

"Wash the dishes for me, Siren. I have to finish work today."

"Okay."

She sighed, irritation clearly evident on her face. "I don't even get extra pay for this. They could've just asked me for an OT!"

"Aren't they relying on you too much?"

She grinned. "It can't help when you're the best."

Wow.

"Ouch! What the hell, Siren?!"

It's because I kicked her feet. She deserves it, she's really annoying.

"You're going to act like that when your girlfriend is right here?!"

"Unlike you, I don't pretend and hide things from her."

Her eyebrows furrowed, so much that I feel like they were going to be tangled with each other.

"And what do you mean by that?!"

I am about to answer when her ringtone blasts once again and this time even louder because it's on the table with her.

"TURN THAT THING OFF RIGHT NOW, SORELLE!"

"I will! Can't you wait?!"

Her expression suddenly changed upon seeing her phone. I wonder who called?

"Stop staring at your phone and answer it! It's so noisy!"

She answers it reluctantly.

"Astrid..."

"Miss Astrid?" Yujin whispers beside me. I nodded.

"They're childhood friends."

"Really?"

"Who's mad? I..." Sorelle stands up to continue their conversation outside. It seems like they fight. No wonder she's making that expression.

"Are you done eating? I'm gonna wash the dishes."

"I'll help.."

"Okay."

Ah, there it is. The school festival. My last school festival. With that being said, I should've made it worthwhile, right?

Nah. It's too much hassle. I'll just watch like before. Seniors should've been exempted from this already. We'd already had enough of this.

I yawned. Listening to this meeting is like a lullaby to me but I don't want to sleep. I might be dragged into doing something again.

"So everything has been decided? Let's all work hard and make our last school festival worthwhile!"

Ha. That professional smile again. So annoying. Peach sits beside me after her speech. Good thing we were given free time. I can finally sleep...

"Siren, when can I visit Brownie?"

"You have presents?"

She chuckled. "Of course. I prepared well."

I nodded as I feel my head getting lighter. I'm really sleepy...

"Then tonight..."

I yawned and buried my head at my desk. I'll just take a nap for a while.

To be continued.
