3 Do You See Their Faces?

I yell my mom, and she helps me carry Raven to the medical tent. "I don't see any injuries. Why is she in pain?" I ask. "The chip could of done something to her." My mom says, as she goes to get a shot that will calm her down. "Yes! Stop the pain!" Raven yells. My mom comes back over with the shot just as Raven stops yelling. "Raven is in the city of light." Raven says, but a different voice comes out of her mouth. "What? Who are you?" I ask. "This is Alie. We have Raven. And we won't stop until we have everyone. No one has to be in pain anymore." She says. "Keep her here, I'll go get the others from Lexa.

I go back to Lexa, and I hear her yelling. "Clarke, help!" She yells as I walk in. I see Jake, Kaleb, and someone else going at her. She fights back, and I help. "They almost got that thing down my throat." She says, once we get everyone to stop. "I won't let that happen." I tell Lexa. "Raven's gone, and someone else took over her body. I don't know what's going on." I say. "We'll sleep here to watch them tonight. I'll take first watch." Lexa says. "No I will. Get some sleep." I sit down and watch the three men. Lexa sits as well, and I hear her soft snores after a few minutes. The tiredness gets the best of me after about 3 hours, and I can't help falling asleep. I wake up, and they're gone.

I tell Lexa, and we both get up to look for them. I see them walking with over 12 more people. They must of gave them all the chip. Luna walks with them, and so does Raven. "We have to find a way to take the chip out." Monty walks over to us. "They have an army. They're not going to stop until they take all of us into that light place. I don't want to be mind controlled." He says. "Raven said something about an EMP to get that thing out of her head. Do you know what that is?" I ask. "Yes. That could destroy whatever thing is in her brain." He says. "Can you make one?" I ask. "Yes, but we'd need some technology from the drop ship. It wouldn't of been affected by the radiation." He says. "Then go, and I'll get everyone to watch them. I'll go to Niylah's cabin." I tell him where that is and for him to meet me there. That way no one will follow us. Lexa and I tell every guard to watch the twelve people, and we grab Raven. I hear the twelve coming towards us, but we know the guards will protect us. We grab some supplies, and we head to Niylahs cabin. "If Alie can control Raven, then she can see what Raven sees. We need to put a blind fold on her so the other people that took the chip won't know where we're going." I tell Lexa. She rips off a piece of her pant leg and gives it to me. I tie it around Ravens eyes. "Let me go!" Raven says. Her voice is normal, Alie must control that too. Raven yells until we get into the cabin. I see Niylah when we get there. "Niylah, our friend is hurt and we need to use this cabin." I tell her. She nods and brings us to a back room. We lay Raven down on a bed, and tie her up, because we know she will struggle. "I'm sorry Raven." I say sadly. "Alie will find you! She'll give you all the chip!" Raven yells. We take the blindfold off her, knowing that she doesn't know where we are.

Raven calms down, and she talks to me. "Do you ever see their faces?" Raven asks me. "What? I ask. "Of all the people you've killed." My jaw tightens. "I know what you're doing Alie, and you're not going to get to me." I say. "It's not Alie. It's Raven. And I'm not trying to get to you, I'm trying to tell you the truth." She says as she looks into my eyes. "Everywhere you go death follows. You try to save everyone, but you're the one who everyone really needs saving from." She says. Lexa gets up, and I give her a look that tells her I'm ok. "Wells is dead because you couldn't see that Charlotte was a basket case, Finn is dead because you broke his heart and slid a knife into it, Jaspers girlfriend is dead because you had to save everyone, and you're dad is dead because you-" "Stop!" I yell to cut her off. "You're done Alie! We're going to fry you!" I yell. Lexa comes over me and wraps her arms around me. "It's ok." She whispers in my ear, she calms me down.

Soon, Monty arrives with an EMP. "They almost killed me, but I drove away in time. They're coming. We have to hurry." He says. He tries to put a wire in her head, but Raven moves. Lexa and I hold her down. He attaches it to her head, and a zapping noise comes out of the machine. "She's unconscious." I say. After a minute, she wakes up. "I'm so sorry Clarke. For what I said." I see a tear fall down Ravens cheek. "It's ok. We have to leave now!" I yell. We help Raven into the rover and we drive back to shallow valley. "We have to EMP everyone." I say. "How? There's too many of them." Lexa says. "We'll find a way." I reply.
