Thus, I might take a long time to update also true. I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Good luck to you!)

Nineteen was really nervous this time. Although in his last life he was quite a powerful person who everyone looked up to... However, Nineteen's thought was interrupted in the middle of the sentence by his system.

[Isn't it because of your husband who was a royal lineage that they could only respect you?]

[So what? That's still a royal!]

Blackie didn't want to bicker with its host, so it chose to stay silent no longer commented on its host.

That's right. Due to Fredrick had royal blood flew within him, he also became part of the royal family. Nevertheless, the royal family of Radford didn't practice the ruling and crowning system anymore in A country. They transferred all the power to the prime minister, so they were considered as a normal rich family that happened to earn a dozen billion annually. Therefore, he was just a husband to a rich man.

And now, he was about to meet the real king, ah, no, the real emperor, so how could he not shaking up and tense at this moment. He tried to calm himself down by breathing in and out several times. He walked toward the innermost of the room and saw rather a big desk in the middle with a beautiful window view at the back.

There sat a handsome man, wearing an ancient gold robe for the emperor, eyes looking at the paper in front of him. With the silver long hair with beautiful deep-sea eyes, Nineteen was in a daze the moment he saw this scene, causing his walk temporarily to stop three meters away from the desk.

The Nether Emperor started to doubt because he didn't hear any footsteps coming in, so he lifted his head up and suddenly made eye contact with Nineteen who was staring at him. They stared at each other deeply without knowing that from another point of view, they looked like long lost lovers that just reunion.

The spark from their eye contact made Nineteen thought of Fredrick. It felt like he traveled back to that time in front of the restaurant. However, he quickly got rid of this thought because he knew there was no way that Fredrick follow him here. They were just one-time intersecting lines, then they became parallel lines again.

Nineteen then immediately kneeled down and made a bow of 90 degrees until his head was on the floor to the Nether Emperor because he knew he couldn't offend this person no matter what. He waited for 10 mins without hearing the command to get up, he abruptly took a quick peek at the Nether Emperor, and soon found that he was stared at, he hurried to put his head back.

The Nether Emperor was amused by the little officer's action. As he observed, he soon found that this little one wasn't fond of kneeling down and making a bow. It seemed to him that the little one needed to do it because of him. Then he said the word that the little one waited for.

Nineteen suddenly felt relief because he no longer needed to kneel anymore. He stood up straight and reported to the Nether Emperor.

"Your majesty! These are the document from the Administrative Department that needed your approval and review."

"En. Put here."

Nineteen went forward and put the document on the left side of the desk and went back to stand where he previously stood. He was looking around the room, seeing that the decoration was just a simple desk which was where the Nether Emperor sitting, plenty of bookshelf with books in it, and 2 chairs near the window.

Next, he turned his attention to the man in front of him. The serious expression that the Nether Emperor made, when he was working was so stunning. He nearly forgot to breathe at the moment that their eyes met. The more he looked at him, the more addicted he got. He wondered if he openly stared at the Nether Emperor, would he get any punishment by doing so?

Too much thinking would hurt his brain, so why didn't he simply just inspected this incredible man. While Nineteen was focusing on the Nether Emperor, the man himself also observed the little one too. As he was working, he couldn't put away the work and took the little one to cuddle for a few hours. He suddenly paused his thought, what was he thinking about the moment ago.

He quickly dismissed this idea because he needed to concentrate on the work in front of him. Because he saw that Nineteen was standing for a long time, he commanded Nineteen to sit on one of the chairs near the window to wait for him.

30 mins later, he had sone checking and approved all the documents. He glanced at the window where Nineteen sat and saw the little one was dozing off. This action was quite cute and made him laugh softly.

Nineteen woke up from the sleepy state completely due to the laughter of the Nether Emperor. Although it was a soft laugh, there were only 2 of them in the room so, among the silent, he could hear clearly the sound of laughing.

Nineteen immediately stood up and prepared to bow again to apologize for his behavior. However, the Nether Emperor stopped him from this action.

"You don't have to kneel down anymore to honor us! We permit you to just bow to us."

Nineteen was overwhelmed by this precious permission from the emperor, he shouted out loud and bowed 90 degrees.

"Thank you, your majesty!"

"Tomorrow is the day that we celebrate the birth of the Netherworld, so all the dead spirits in the Netherworld have 3 days off, you should come to see."

"Yes, I will."

After the Nether Emperor said that, he returned to his desk to continue his leftover work. He told Nineteen to take the documents back to the Administrative Department and his work would be finished for the day. Nineteen took the papers from the desk and bowed one last time before he went to the door.

Before he stepped out completely, he turned around one last time to see the Nether Emperor. Nineteen happened to make eye contact again with the Nether Emperor, the man gave him a gorgeous smile. With that Nineteen was completely went red all over his face as he quickly closed the door. Otherwise, he might fell into dreamland.

He rushed out from the castle, going through the gate, the street, and eventually arrived at the Administrative Department without knowing when. He gave the approved documents to the head of the department and got praise to form them by saying that the documents were quick this time.

Normally, to get their documents approved by the Nether Emperor, they had to wait for several days. Now, this time he actually brought back on the same day, so they were happy about it. They also promised him that every document that needed the Nether Emperor's approval would be handed to him in the future and that was his only work from now on.

Well, that was also okay with him, less work was fine because he was lazy. There was no sleeping quarter for dead spirit, most of them just walking around the Netherworld. But they did have something similar to that, it was the hotel for the dead spirit to take a rest by paying their merit points.

The hotel itself was a huge building because there were a lot of dead spirits in the Netherworld. It was operated by mostly the Warrant Officer (WO1) from the Warrant Officer dead spirits, and they were supervised by the WO2, the previous rank of Nineteen, and the current rank of Nineteen respectively.

You might wonder why Nineteen wasn't in the hotel chain because it gave out too few merit points so the original host didn't choose that. He walked inside the hotel and paid the rent for one room for 12 hours. The cost of the room was quite moderate. All those who had the ability to earn merit points could pay for the hotel room.

He went inside the room and noticed that the decoration was the same as the 5-star hotel back in his world. He immediately went to the bed and hopped on it. Although being the dead spirit, didn't need to eat, sleep, they did feel tired sometimes. They felt tired because their soul also needed to relax from working 6 hours non-stop.

Nineteen's first day of new work was quite smooth in his opinion, and the day was also great. He got the job done, and more importantly, he got another handsome man to be his prey for staring beside his husband from the first world. He eventually closed his eyes and didn't know that he could actually sleep despite being a dead spirit.
