He was nothing but an emotionless bastard. Until that night, her life was going smoothly, but that phone call changed everything. Her parents had been in accident, she rushed to hospital. Her mom died 24 hours later and her dad had complete body paralysis and would require life long nursing care.

There was only one thing that was running in her mind that She had lost her mom, she couldn't lose her dad and that's when she received call informing her grandfather wanted to meet her. At first, she couldn't believe it. her parents had never mentioned any relatives, saying that they both were orphan. She thought maybe God wants to help her. She was not alone in this world. She had a family.

She caught the morning train to reach the address told to her by the person on phone. It was in the richest part of the town. She had so many questions, why her mom had never mentioned about her family. Why did his grandfather chose now to contact her? Why he did not attend his daughter's funeral.

She was admitted by lady who identified herself as a housekeeper and showed her to wait in a room what looked like to be an office. She was so nervous that her whole body was having a slight tremor.

An old man entered the room- "Miss Hana, the president will see you now,please come with me."

She nodded and started walking behind him. They passed through a large corridor and came across a room. The man knocked. A grave voice asked him to come in.

"Sir, Miss Hana is here."

Graham, " make sure no one disturbs us for next forty five minutes." Graham nodded, "Yes, sir"

"It's true." Her grandfather spoke up, " you totally look like her".

She looked at her grandfather without saying anything. She could sense that he was a cold person, there was no smile or any affection in his gaze when he was looking at her.

And in next forty five minutes she got answers to all her questions. She could understand why her mother chose to leave everything behind and never mentioned about him. Who would chose to live being a pawn of this man?

His grandfathers family , chen family was one of the two founding families of this city. Other one was lyn family. they both were on good mutual terms and were equally powerful in their own rights. There was a large part of town , property worth billions, which due to some circumstances got tied in a trust and would be inheritable only when Lyn and chen family marry and produce a heir. Since both the families were very powerful they never needed this property. But his grandfather had managed to acquired debts due to bad practices, gambling , poor financial investments. But somehow he had convinced his friend , Wu Lyn to marry his son Bao Lyn to her daughter, so that he could access the trust money and save his family business.

Her daughter refused and managed to escape. She covered her tracks well he couldn't find her immediately. Few months passed , Wu lyn came and broke the engagement aggrement informing him, that Bao lyn has fallen in love and would marry someone else.

That day all his hope of saving his business was gone. In desperation, he made some more risky investments and lost a major share of his wealth. Lyn family continued to make success and they became more powerful. His resentment grew and he tried to cheat his friend, Wu Lyn in a business dealing. He was caught , which led to Lyn family breaking up ties with him. He kept on thinking, If only his daughter was filial, this would not happen. His hatred for his daughter grew and he disowned her.

His grand daughter would pay for her mother's wrongdoings. He still had an ace in his hand and he would make her marry in Lyn family. To save her useless father, she would agree. He had done his research. She will have to marry the son of Bao Lyn.
