One day, Sneha Shinde 19 years old girl, realized what she has become a pathetic girl which doesn't know anything, done only thing to please her family where her desires and emotion are of no importance.

she became a person she never knew and walked into a path she never would walked.

The day was Monday 20XX, when she got selected for nursing college in her second attempt at entrance exam.

In her first attempt she couldn't get admission due to her parents doesn't let her fill the forms.

Because they came to know she has a friend which was a boy.

They without asking her anything considered the boy as her boyfriend (his name Jaydeep). Her parents called her charecterless, as she has slandered there family reputation and there name. A girl shouldn't talk to boys there's family norm.

So they didn't let her out of house and for tuition for her next entrance exam.She never dared to voice out her choices, emotions and opinions. she studied as best could got her admission in a nursing college with scholarship so that her parents will become proud and happy.

Who would have thought her parents not even said a single world of praise or encouragement.

Her father Anil Shinde said " With a degree at least you will get a groom as you are not even beautiful."

She heard this thousand times but at that moment something cracked inside her, that last emotion of acceptance , praise and love was longing for family has disappeared. Just because she is a girl and had a dark skin which doesn't considered as beautiful.

As Indian's mentality a girls home is not of her parents but her husband as she eventually has to married off.

She had listen to whatever they said and never said " No". Only followed. As her father Anil shinde who was just a construction worker and her mother Vandana shinde a nurse in the nearby hospital. She has a sibling that is her brother pratik which is 6 years apart from her.

Her parents always prirtoized her brother but she never hated her brother even loved him and supported him as much as she could. She knew it was not his fault.

Considering her family situation she never asked for pocket money, never participated on school trips, festivals or function as it required money.

She never demanded anything as she was grateful for chance to study.

As her family following old traditions boys are more prioritizes as they carry the family name forward and girls considered as burden.

She always remained quiet following what her parents said trying to get a word of love or encouragement. She was envious inside of other classmates who's parents where sent them school and showed them they are being loved.

She always felt lonely but never able to make friends of fear that her parents may get displeased. She also feared that the classmates won't accept her so she never tried and remained as an outcast.

As she was dark skined so most even never said a word to her. Trying best as could to make her parents proud and being loved.

But that single thing her father said shatter her core.....

then she realized what a pathetic foolish girl she became...when she see in her childhood not a single beautiful memory has she had with her family or within school.
