Paths

As day began to turn into night, I noticed some shadows in a nearby all alleyway. I went to go check it out and noticed some darkness soldiers cornering a little girl while screaming at her! I was out-raged, and so without thinking, I walked towards them and started to attack the soldiers! As this was happening, the little girl started to run away. Once I finished off all the soldiers, I started to follow the girls tracks, after all, she could have at least thanked me for saving her!! Once her tracks ended, I was found at a BAR! What was a little girl doing at a bar?! I went inside and found lots of guys drunk and passed out on the floor. I just walked over them as if I had seen nothing. Then as I walked up to the bartender, I FOUND THE LITTLE GIRL SITTING AT THE TABLE DRINKING BEER!! As I was ordering some apple juice for myself, I calmly sat next to the girl.

"Hello", I said, in my most mature voice. "Hi", said the girl, as she turned around to face me, she gasped. "Your the one that saved my life!" Yelled the girl. "Yes, I am, but you just ran off without even saying thank you", I exclaimed with a low voice. "Sorry about that, but I didn't want to miss my drink that I left on the counter", laughed the little girl, "But aren't you too young to drink?", I asked. Then the girl stood up and yelled "YOU DON'T JUST SAY THINGS LIKE THAT TO A STRANGER!!", "Okay, okay, calm down , I was just stating what I was thinking", I said in a calm voice. "Sorry about that, but to answer your question, yes, I am young but I can handle my alcohol", she said in a harsh tone, "By the way, what is your name?", I asked. "It's Lapis," she smiled as she answered my question, "Well, I am Mavis, nice to meet you, I have a feeling we will get along" I replied in my normal tone, "anyway, might I ask what these Darkness soldiers wanted with you?", "Oh that...well they were asking me who I was and why I was wearing the necklace of the princess", Lapis pulled out the necklace she had tucked in her shirt. I looked at it and then looked at her face, "Well I didn't even know that the Darkness Kingdom had a princess!" I laughed as I said this, because the Darkness Kingdom was always known for their power and I just couldn't imagine a woman having that power. Lapis then frowned, "No I mean the princess from the Water Tribe", as I looked at the necklace and back at Lapis, I noticed that I could sense her magic power, which was nothing new for me, but I didn't sense it from her, but from the necklace around her neck!!
