1 Another’s Eyes

This person that you see is it really me

They tell me that the world is my stage

But are they really talking to me or the person that they believe to be me

And yet people talk to me expecting me to listen

But how can I listen when I can't hear them

All I can hear is the incoherent silence while the person in front of them can hear every syllable

I can look around but it's as if I'm looking through a dreams movie frame

All because I have no connection to this reality for it's not my reality

They tell me to shape up but how can I when there's no stability

In a reality that's unbenounced to them

I'll interact with others but it's not actually me

For it's just the person that they see

So tell me if I'm here in their body in their reality

Does that mean that they are in my intangible reality with my undefine body

I say they for we have never met face to face

For all I know they could be a male trapped within a female's apparition

After all every day is nothing but a fleeting dream

In a never revealing scene

Where no one can hear the panicking screams

But is there actual screaming no it's just unattainable silence

So they tell me take this it'll make you feel better

Yeah sure it's bothersome not knowing their reality

But what about this unfinished dream that's not my reality

What about the other person

Tell me who are they if they are not me

And I'm not them then who are we

For this is nothing more than a dream

They are speaking but what are they saying

They are moving but what are they doing

I do not know for I'm watching from afar

Floating in an empty space watching the moving screen

So then where am I who am I

I am the unknown dreamer who has set passage in another's vessel

I am the unseen shadow that follows the traveler

I am the wistful light of an unforetold dream

I am the unheard voice of the forgotten

I know what others will never be able to dream

I see what others will never see

I believe what others deny

For I am capable of seeing through another's eyes
