118 Chapter 118

They shot through the atmosphere of Earth, moving through the clouds before coming to a stop above New York City. Impulse calmly looked around, trying to sense C-1. His connection to her is not as strong as it was before, so he could only sense her general location. Looking around, his eyes stopped at a river on the East side of New York. On it was a small island with a T-shaped tower on it.

"So, that the Teen Titans base." Impulse mumbled, using his x-ray vision on the tower. Unsurprisingly, it was laced with led, stopping his x-ray sight. "A shame how my eyes didn't evolve."

"I can sense a Kree in that T-shaped building." The snake said, also using his x-ray vision on the building. "Sadly, the building can block my vision."

"So she is either a prisoner or part of them." Impulse mumbled, turning to the snake. "By the way, your name is C-2. Keep that in mind."

"I rather go with Sentry." The snake said, shaking his head. "C-2 doesn't sound unique."

"Your name is C-2." Impulse repeated, turning back to the T-shaped tower.

"My nickname is Sentry then." Sentry said, turning to see Impulse's reaction. "Is that okay, Father?"

"Your name is C-2. Your nickname can be whatever the fuck you want." Impulse said as he floated toward the tower. "Come on, let's go."

Sentry followed Niles as they floated toward the tower. Suddenly, their path was blocked by 7 teenage superheroes. Some of them couldn't fly, so they were levitated by a girl in a dark purple cloak.

"Who are you?" One of the people being carried by the girl's telekinesis asked. It was a boy in a costume that is consisted of green tights with black steel-toed boots, a green short-sleeved shirt underneath a red armored vest with a yellow "R" over his left pectoral muscle, a yellow utility belt, and a black cape that has a yellow interior. He also has on a black-and-white domino mask, has his black hair spiked backward, average-toned skin, and an athletic build.

"I am Sentry, and this is my father." Sentry took the liberty to speak, already knowing what his father would say. The team looked unconvinced at Sentry's claim, seeing as Impulse was much more younger looking than him. "Please, bear with me. We are here to retrieve what's ours and be on our way."

"And what is this thing you are talking about." A girl asked. She looked like a much younger wonder woman but with long blond hair. She wore a red shirt with a W symbol across her chest, blue jeans with a black belt that has a W symbol as its buckle, and a golden lasso on her waist.

"It is a humanoid female. I assume her name is C-1, but I am not sure." Sentry calmly responded, "Would you allow us to look through your prisoners and see which one is ours?"

"We can't allow you to do that." The girl said, reaching for her lasso.

"What is the fucking point. Just kill them and retrieve C-1." Impulse said, folding his arm. "Why are you wasting my time?"

This caused everyone to tense up as they got ready to attack. Sentry turned to Impulse, saying, "Father, let me do this. No unnecessary killing is needed."

"Says the one who almost wiped out an entire civilization because he was awakened." Impulse said, stretching. "Let's see how this meeting would end without any bloodshed."

"Please, don't mind him. Now, why won't you allow me to take a look at your prisoners?" Sentry asked, just as the golden lasso wrapped around him. "Oh? And what might this toy be?"

"Come with us silently and no one gets hurt." The girl said, tightening the lasso around Sentry.

"This is a waste of time." Impulse said. pointing a finger to the boy he assumes is Robin. "Robin, Dick, Tim, whichever the fuck you are, tell me where Batman is keeping C-1."

Robin was shocked at first but quickly regained his composure. "Never."

"Suit yourself." Impulse said, an energy beam shooting out his finger, piercing through Robin's head, instantly killing him. It happened so fast no one could react. "If one of you would have just said something, he wouldn't be dead. Now, his death is in your hands."

"How dare you!!!" The boy, who Impulse recognized to be Superboy from the research he did back in Niles timeline, shouted as he shot forward at an incredible speed, pulling back his right arm and swinging it at Impulse's face.

"A clone is still a clone." Impulse yawned, appearing beside Superboy. With a simple tap on Superboy's back, he was sent flying to the ground, creating a massive crater that shook the entire Island.

They all were shocked that he sent the young Kryptonian flying with a single tap. Even though he wasn't as strong as Superman, his strength still exceeded many of those on Earth. Wonder Girl's grip on the lasso tightened as she grit her teeth, causing a lightning current to shot through the lasso. She tried to use her lasso to swing Sentry but found her strength unable to move the stranger.

"Calm down. I would revive him." Sentry said, not trying to escape from a lasso and not one bit bothered by the lightning of a god produced by the lasso.

They ignored him as Impulse grabbed hold of a raging Beast Boy, who was in a form of Microraptor, talon.

Starfire's eyes glowed green in rage as she threw multiple circular bolts of pure radioactive energy at Impulse. Seeing these bolts, a thought came to mind. 'Shall I play with these little heroes? Give them the impression they are winning? It should be easy.'

As they hit him on his chest, he let out a small yelp, letting go of Beast Boy and moving some meters back. He looked down at his chest in pain, looking back at Starfire flying towards him. His eyes then glowed red, as a fired an intense beam of concentrated heat at her.

"You are not the only one with the powerful eyes," Starfire shouted, shooting a beam of green energy from her eyes to meet Impulse's eye beam in the middle.

Impulse gritted his teeth as he struggled to keep her eye beam in place, not noticing Superboy appear behind him, and landing a heavy blow on his head. This sent Impulse flying to the ground, bouncing through the forest in front of the Titian Tower. At least, this was the impression they got. Impulse noticed Superboy coming toward him, and before Superboy punched him, he used telekinesis to make Superboy's think his fist made contact with his skin. He then flew to the ground, giving them the impression that Superboy's attack was successful. As he struggled to regain his balance, another fist connected with his face.

Enraged, Impulse let out a roar, disorienting all their attackers. As he tried to attack the disoriented Superboy, dark energy surrounded him, stopping his fist inches from Superboy's face. Letting out another roar, Impulse managed to break free from the telekinetic attack, just in time to catch a punch from Starfire.

"Weak little shit!" Impulse roared, squeezing her fist.

"I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am stronger than I look," Starfire shouted before headbutting Impulse and breaking his nose.

"You filthy casual!" Impulse roared, holding his beading nose as he staggered back. He quickly caught an arrow shot at his blindspot, breaking it. The arrow exploded, throwing him back.

"Azarath... Metrion... ZINTHOS!!" An incantation came from the girl in the dark cloak, dark energy engulfing his body. Her hair and cloak started floating like she was underwater as his bones began to crack under the force of the dark energy as he screamed in agony.

"Stop, Raven! Before you kill him!" The arrow girl shouted, running from behind the tree she was hiding.

"I will not stop. This man must PAY for what he has done!" The cloaked female, now known as Raven, shouted as the Impulse's arm started twisting in an unimaginable direction. "As will all who dears confront the daughter of TRIGON.

Sentry watched all this from the top of the titian tower. On his right was a knocked-out Cassie, and on his left was the body of Robin, his heart beating, indicating he was alive. He quietly watched the exchanges between his father and the young heroes.

"Father, I guess you are enjoying yourself." He mumbled while playing with the lasso. "So, I guess I should wait before telling you where C-1 is."

Beast boy transformed into a Tyrannosaurus, hitting Raven with his tail. Raven flew back, losing control of her magic, causing Impulse to fall to the ground. Raven looked over to Beast boy, a deep purple aura around her.

"You have gone too far!" She shouted, using her telekinesis to throw Beast boy into a tree. "How dare you interfere with the daughter of TRIGON! Azarath Metrion..."

Starfire quickly covered Raven's mouth while whispering. "Calm down, Raven. Control yourself."

Superboy also helps hold Raven down as she regained control of herself. "We are all mad Robin is dead, but we can't kill him."

Artemis went to help Beast Boy, who is now in his human form, stand up. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Beastboy groaned, standing up with the help of Artemis.

"Woah there, kids. Spare me your emotional bullshit." A voice suddenly said, causing them to turn to the man, who was supposedly about to die from Raven's rage. He was completely healed, all the blood nowhere to be seen. Even his clothes somehow healed, and he looked as if he never did fight them. Fixing the collar of the all-black high-neck jacket, he said, "It was fun when I was the star of the fight, so I wanted to play more. Now, not so much. So, let's gets this over with."
