6 Rune Student
Will and Jessie got on the bed and looked at each other with their faces red in color. Will looked at Jessie and couldn't say anything, his heart was jumping around like crazy. Jessie opened and closed her mouth a few times before a few words finally came out, "Do you think we'll be safe?" Her eyes focused on Will and she whispered.
"I'll keep us safe!" Not knowing where he got the courage from, Will responded quickly. Jessie relaxed and felt joy in her heart when she heard him say that. She smilingly closed her eyes and opened the system.
Will was secretly sweating on his back. Only after he replied did he realize the deep meaning in her words. By asking that question, she was really asking him for status and by saying he'd keep her safe, he was basically saying they were a thing.
Seeing her close her eyes, Will relaxed a little and closed his eyes too and started to recall what he learned about the Rune Emperor Cultivation Technique.
To start cultivating the technique, you had to absorb the heavenly energy in the air around you and condense the first Rune found in the Rune Codex. Will mentally summoned the Rune Codex. An Old Leather Book appeared in his mind. A weird and powerful aura came off the book causing Will to shiver. Opening the first page, Will saw two symbols quietly laying on the page. They were Runes. One was a greyish-blue stone and the other was a multi-colored crystal.
Stone Body!
Crystal Body!
There were two types of bodies you could choose from to cultivate in the first realm of the Rune Emperor Cultivation Technique. The Stone Body gave you great strength and physique while The Crystal Body gave you an amazing defense and endurance.
Will thought for a second before choosing the Stone Body. Physique would make his overall body stronger. The Stone Body was separated into four runes, The StoneSkin Rune, The StoneFlesh Rune, The StoneHeart Rune, and The StoneBone Rune. Similarly, the Crystal Body was separated into four runes, The MetalGlassSkin Rune, The StarSunstoneFlesh Rune, The DiamondHeart Rune, and The BlackLightningOpalBone Rune.
Taking a deep breath, Will started absorbing the heavenly energy in the air around him. Feeling his pores open according to the technique, a warm fuzzy feeling started coming into his body. This was the qi from the air. Feeling super comfortable, Will started moving the qi in accordance with the technique and his skin started wiggling. A small greyish-blue stone tattoo started to appear on his left arm, It was the StoneSkin Rune.
The rune took five minutes to fully show up and come into completion on his skin. As soon as the rune fully appeared, the greyish-blue color fully spread through his skin and Will felt a great power coursing through his body.
Will was delighted, he had stepped into the first level of the Student Realm!
Feeling the new power in his body, Will moaned in pleasure. This was the greatest feeling ever.

His strength, Vitality, and Heart all had increased by 0.2 and his Agility increased by 0.1. Even though it was a small increase, Will felt like he was a new person. He was satisfied, after all, he had only just stepped into the student realm.
Will shook his head as his status and thought this system was really something. Focusing back to his cultivation, Will started to condense more StoneSkin Runes on his Skin. With one-quarter of his skin was filled with StoneSkin Runes, he would reach the peak of the first level. When half of his skin was filled with StoneSkin Runes, he would the peak of the second level and when his entire skin was full of StoneSkin Runes he would reach the peak of the third level.
One after one, StoneSkin Runes started appearing on Will's skin and his cultivation increased with each that appeared. Slowly, the left arm and right arm were fully covered in StoneSkin runes.
Will condensed a StoneSkin Rune every five minutes and made twelve runes every hour. Five hours passed.
Boom! Level 2 Student Realm!
The Runes started condensing on his right leg and one by one filling it in. If anyone were to look at Will right now, they would see a human-shaped greyish-blue stone sitting in a meditation position with large amounts of runic drawings on his arms and lower body.
Another five hours passed and Will's lower body was fully filled with StoneSkin runes.
Boom! Level 3 Student Realm!
Showing no signs of stopping, Runes continued to appear on his upper body. Time slowly passed as runes filled the skin on Will's chest and finally even his head. Once he's entire body skin was filled with the StoneSkin Runes, Will released a breath and opened his eyes.
Peak Level 3 Student Realm!
Incredible power moved about in his body and his skin felt tight. Looking down at his body, surprised shone on Will's face as he saw his colored skin. Toughing his arm, he could even feel the rugged texture of stone. His skin felt uneven, it was a weird but somehow satisfying feeling.

His strength and Vitality increased by 2.9 points, his agility increased by 2.4 points and his heart increased by 2.8 points! His power had climbed to three times that of a normal adult!
Looking at Jessie sitting in front of him, he saw an Iron metallic color coming off her body. A sense of power could be felt in her body. The metallic color coming off her reminded Will of the other Rune Crystal body in the Rune Codex and it's first Rune, The MetalGlassSkin Rune.
Will withdrew the StoneSkin Runes into his body. Taking a look at The Crystal Body Rune, Will started trying to condense the MetalGlassSkin Rune on his skin. The skin on Will's left arm started once again wiggling and a metallic glass rune slowly appeared.
Woosh!
His skin crystallized and turned into an Icy colored glass. Will didn't stop immediately and continued to condense the MetalGlassSkin Runes. This time was much easier compared to when he was condensing the StoneSkin Runes.
Another fifteen hours slowly passed as Will and Jessie both cultivated, only waking a few times to move around and check on each other.
Woosh! A cold human glass shaped sculpture was sitting on the bed facing an Iron colored Human Statue. The eyes of the glass sculpture suddenly opened and excitement could be seen shining in those eyes.
