6 Unknown Feelings

At first she couldn't believe her eyes. What was Seth doing here, she asked herself. "Now who might you be? Are you also eager to die?" The leader said mockingly. "Please do watch your tone when you are speaking to him." Neil came out of as well. "What are you his pet? Haha." "Let them go before you regret it." Seth held a serious tone. "Do these people have anything to do with you? If not, I suggest you get lost and mind your own business." The man turned his back ignoring Seth, but Neil had something to say. "Well yes, as a matter of fact they do have everything to do with us. You are messing with the wrong people." Someone else who couldn't keep quiet anymore was Shiro. "What the heck is this? Do you two know them Yuki, Abby?" "No." said Abby as she looked over to Yuki. "N-" " Hello miss Yuki, you are a magnet for trouble aren't you? I can't leave you alone can I?" Seth spoke up before she could deny knowing him. "You know him Yuki? He seems to know you." Abby questioned her. "I've had enough of your interrupting. Get them!" Seth and Neil both braced themselves at the group of people who were now coming at them. "OK Neil just like we said, no over doing it. We don't want them suspecting." "Of course my friend." They both fought without breaking a sweat. They gravely injured some but didn't kill anybody. They even let some get away. There were being careful as to not raise any suspicion that they were demons.

They manage to defeat the men and scare off the rest. He then headed over to Yuki and began untying her. "We meet again.. Yuki." Seth said as he took off the rope. "What are you doing here? And don't say that that you happened to be passing by." "I wasn't. I followed you." " You followed me!? Why? I thought it was clear enough last time I wasn't gonna see you again." She questioned him. "Well hello there young lady, it was my pleasure to rescue such a pretty girl." Neil said as he smiled at Abby. "Thank you so much!" Abby couldn't help but think he was gorgeous but she also didn't know them. Seth's voice grabbed her attention. "I couldn't trust you knew how to take care of yourself. I'm glad I followed you, can you imagine what would have happened if I didn't show up?" "Hey! You there! Who are you exactly, how do you know Yuki. I've never seen you around. Let her go." A very upset Shiro called out. Seth and Yuki looked at each other not realizing Seth was still holding her hand. He immediately let her go and Yuki blushed. "Sigh.. Shiro right? I gotta say that's none of your business. Our parents knew each other, that's all I'll say." Shiro was shocked. Yuki never talked about her past much, least of all her parents. "Your parents? Yuki you-" "Don't ask Shiro, let it go. Can I talk to you in private Seth?" Shiro didn't want to press the subject and remained quiet. "Sure." said Seth and they made their way into the surrounding forest. Shiro was left very confused not to mention jealous.

"What do you want from me, I won't be part of some sick game of yours." "You want the truth?.." "Yes." " I want to protect you. Take care of you, like my father asked me to." Yuki began to turn red at what she was hearing. She definitely was not ready to hear anything like that come from Seth's mouth, and with such a serious face. "I want to be there and make up for all these years I wasn't.." Seth couldn't believe himself the words he was speaking but he had spoken them truthfully. He didn't want to lie to her. She was special to him, he knew that much, but special how? Yuki didn't know what to say. Her thoughts were now replaying his words over and over again. The only other sound was that of her hear beating fast, faster than it ever has. They both remained still looking at each other for what seemed like hours. A bird flying nearby broke their spell. "Why, you don't need to do that. I can take care of myself. I grew up without your protection." "My father's dying wish was for me to take care of you. If you-" "If I what? If I wasn't human?" "If you hadn't ran away that day I would of taken care of you.." Before he knew it he was embracing her. She was surprised and backed away confused. "I apologize I-" "Leave." "But" "Please..." In a second he was gone. She remained there staring hard at the ground. Trying to ease her heart that threaten to burst through her chest. She couldn't control it, it wouldn't stop. What was wrong with her.

"So then I was like are you serious?!" "Haha you are so funny and sweet, thanks for your help." Neil and Abby were happily getting along. "No need to thank me, anything to help Yuki and my Mas- I mean Seth." "Let's go." Seth said as we walked past him, not stopping. "So soon, what happened? Seth?" Neil got a little worried, he had never seen him upset like this. So he bid Abby farewell and followed after him. It wasn't long before they disappeared into the distance. "Okay guys, we've been delayed enough. If we don't get moving we won't make it back in time." Yuki said as she also walked towards her friends. They looked at her and she knew she would have to tell them who the two guys were. "What did you two talk about? Your buddy back there didn't seem so happy." Shiro spoke first, he was jealous, he had never before seen Yuki interact with any guy besides him. "Shiro, that's none of your business." Abby told him. She trusted Yuki, and they did save them, so that made them good guys in her book. "It is my business! They made me look weak! Like I couldn't defend you guys. Who is he and how do you know him Yuki?" His pride was hurt aside from his jealousy, he didn't like to feel powerless. "Shut up Shiro!" Yuki had never really raised her voice to him like that. "I don't have time for your stupid jealousy scenes. There is nothing between you and me or me and him. So stop. I don't have to give you explanations. He saved your life too, so be grateful." An angry Yuki walked on towards the village. Abby remained quiet behind her and Shiro who was now pretty sad kept at the back. Soon they found themselves at their destination. Everyone who arrived was to put their offerings in a pile with everyone else's. A group of people would separate items as fairly as possible into bundles. This was done in front of everyone to make sure it was fair and that they weren't taking anything extra themselves. Then everyone got in a big line and one by one they received their share. Afterwards people were free to try to trade any items for others they desired. "Wow I am glad we came. This is much more that what we brought." said Abby with a smile. "Yeah this will make grandma happy, look I got some meat!" They decided they were happy with their items and made their way back home. They wanted to travel while there was still daylight. Shiro was still quiet and kept a bit to himself.

"Wow see, I told you she didn't like him." Neil and Seth still followed them to make sure they made it safely, also to see what the food drive was all about. "Good." "What happened back there? You seem lost in your head ever since, its not like you." "I hugged her." "You what!?" "It's not a big deal you idiot, stop exaggerating.." "But still, you seem pretty affected by it." "Neil what is wrong with me? Why do i have this feeling? Like I can't I stay away from her? Even after everything I can't stop thinking about her. Look at me following her around like a stalker." "Seth..." The Prince could't stop thinking, what had lead him to hold her like that, out of nowhere? He had never felt such a way. Yuki was in the same predicament. He was all that was in her head. Every time a thought of him crawled up in her mind she would remember his words and actions. Her thoughts would soon turn dark when she remembered how many he had killed. She just didn't understand, how can someone like that be capable of caring.
