9 Unknown Enemy?

When she entered her house her grandma was waiting. "There you are honey, Abby has been waiting for you, where have you been?" "I was at school granny, sorry for being late. I'll talk to Abby in my room so you can get some rest." "Okay just don't stay up too late." They bid each other goodnight and Yuki went to her room where Abby was patiently waiting for her.

"Yuki where have you been? Is Shiro okay, what about Seth?" "Sorry to keep you waiting, Seth is okay I guess and Shiro seemed okay, physically." She didn't know how to bring up the events that had transpired a few hours ago. "What's wrong?" Her friend knew her a little too well and knew something was wrong. "Abby.. I think Seth likes me.." "Haha I know! Finally, about time you noticed. So what happened, did he ask you out, what did you say?" "He kissed me.. and I kissed him back." "So you guys are together! Yay I am so happy!.. Why don't you look happy?" Her friend's excitement faded away as quickly as it came when she saw how worried Yuki looked. "No, we are not together, exactly."

Yuki really didn't want it to come to this, but she really needed some advice and someone to vent off to. "Abby, what I am about to tell you, promise you won't tell anyone and you won't freak out." She asked her friend with a very serious face and tone. "Whoa you are scaring me.. Alright I promise, you have been my best friend for as long as I can remember. I am here for you." ".. He witnessed everything, he now hates me and surely despises Seth. He wants to kill him.." "Well I don't blame him... But Yuki does that mean that Neil is also a demon?" "Sigh, yes Abby." "Hmm it makes sense, I knew no human could be so perfect. " Yuki mentally face palmed herself, her friend really cracked her up. Even now all she could think about was boys.

"Yuki you are my friend, and as that I'll try to give you the best advice I could. I don't think you should stay away from Seth. I can tell he really cares for you. Yea it won't be easy being with him but, I don't know I just have a feeling everything will be okay. Haha if you say yes he'll be your first boyfriend. You really are something, a Demon for God's sake?" "Haha thank you Abby, for not judging me. I have a lot to think about. I am not 100% sure about how I feel about Seth yet." The girls talked for a bit and Abby eventually went home. Yuki headed to bed, she was mentally exhausted. She laid in bed and grasped the necklace Seth had given her. With thoughts of him she eventually drifted to sleep.

A very impatient Neil waited at the castle, he was pacing back and forth when he finally saw him. "There you are Seth! I was getting worried, how'd it go?" "She didn't reject me, but she also hasn't accepted me either..I am worried about her, that guy Shiro, I don't trust him. I feel like he'll try to hurt her to get to me.." "You won't let that happen, I know you control freak. You know I stand behind you no matter what. Not just me but the entire Kingdom and the World of Demons. We outnumber the humans 400 to 1, we can-" "No Neil.. she doesn't want war.. She doesn't want anyone dying or getting hurt." "Wait a minute now you care!? Sigh, you've pretty much brought them to the brink of extinction, and a girl makes you change your mind? Jeez I am never falling in love, it's scary." "I couldn't care less about the humans. It's her I don't want to hurt. If hurting others hurts her.. I don't want to do it again.." Neil's mouth was now gaped open in disbelief of what he was hearing. "... In reality Neil was very happy, this was exactly the change he wanted to see in Seth and he knew Yuki was the only one capable of making that happen. "I gave her an elemental stone." Neil's grateful thoughts were held in their tracks when he heard that. "You what!!!?" There is a legend among demons that tells of 5 elemental stones. They possess the power of water, earth, fire, and wind. The 5th remained a mystery. It is said that whoever can obtain the stones and awaken their powers can control the elements and with it, the world. Seth held possession of 4 of the stones. They appeared white like pearls because their power hadn't been awaken yet. The royal family of demos had a special connection with the stones since the beginning of time. Seth was able to sense their location, but he had yet to find the 5th one. There was a point in time where he traveled the world in search for it but never found it. He had almost become convinced it didn't exist.

"Have you lost it!? She's not even your mate! You haven't even marked her! If the stone's power somehow activates while in her possession she will have potential power to kills us all." Neil was scolding him on his carelessness. "You know how hard it is to obtain much less control the elements, she won't betray us. I can feel it, she's not that kind of person." "If something like that were to happen.. would you be ready to kill her Seth?" Neil had reason to be concerned, an active element stone in the wrong hands can mean real trouble for all demons. Seth thought quietly for a second but pushed the possibility out of his head. "Such thing won't happen." Was his answer. Killing Yuki was something he couldn't even begin to imagine. Neil knew Seth wouldn't be able to kill her if he had to, but she could hold a real threat to them. All he could do for now was wish Yuki wouldn't betray them, ever. Or he would have to be the one to stop her.

The next day, at school. "Finally I can get out of this place, Yuki.. Why?" Shiro still hard a hard time wrapping his head around the whole situation. "You seem troubled by something." A girl approached him from behind. He had never seen her around. "Who are you?" The girl smirked. "My name is Saria, I am not an enemy so don't look at me like that. I know everything. I've been watching you all for a while now." "What do you want?" Shiro was wary and on guard. "Hmm let's just say I want Yuki and Prince Seth dead." "Prince? Don't tell me he is the fucker who messed the whole world up?" Just when Shiro thought he couldn't hate the guy more. "Oops.. I thought you knew." The girl played innocent but in reality she knew he had no idea. She was only looking to put Shiro to some use. What better way to get her revenge than to poke the bear some more, she thought. In her mind a plan was developing and Seth was her main goal.
