2 New World

13 years passed and the Prince despite his father's last words, grew up full of hatred. He hunted down humans and invaded villages, killing billions. He pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. The world had become the demons' race dominion. There were a total of 5 human villages left. They were all located inside the perimeter of a flowing river. No human was allowed to go outside that area. If they did they would meet a horrible death by the countless demons who inhabited the rest of the world. Due to these land limitations, food and water were really scarce. The remaining humans suffered from hunger and sickness. Animals were also a very rare thing to come by. Most had been hunted or ran away past the river. Aside form crossing the river there was another way for the humans to get to the other side. That was through the castle, but no one dare to approach. Everyone lived in fear of the Prince. As for Yuki, no one ever saw her again. She fled the castle the same day of the tragedy, everyone assumed she was dead. However she lived.

"I am off to school!" a young woman hurried out of her small house. "Okay just be careful and don't come home too late, its dangerous." called out an elderly lady. "I won't grandma, see you!" In one of the villages there was a school that only the humans were aware of. People were being trained to defend themselves and how to use weapons. They did this in an attempt to one day maybe stand up to the demons. "Yuki! Over here! we've been waiting for you." A guy called out waving his hand and a big smile in his face. "I'm sorry guys I woke up late-" "Happy birthday!!" Another girl said enthusiastically holding out her arms for a hug."Yeah happy birthday! umm.. here a present." The guy held out a flower shyly. "Huh? oh.. yeah, thanks." "Aw come on! You just turned 18. You are like a grown up now. You can make any decision in your life! You should be happier." said the girl while holding Yuki from the shoulders. "Yea you can also you know, date who ever you wish." said the guy. "Haha you don't waste a single moment huh Shiro?" "What uh-uh I.. What? Just shut up Abby." said Shiro while blushing and looking away. "Thanks guys really you are both so sweet. We should really get going to class before we are even more late." Then they all headed to to school.

Yuki survived by luck. When she ran away she lived in the forest for almost 2 years, she was really smart and living off the land was something she had learned from her father. A lady found her and took her in, she became like a grandmother to Yuki.

"Seth, how long will you continue like this?" "Until necessary, I will kill all of those who had anything to with my father's death and their families." "Your father didn't-" "My father! Is dead and I will avenge him. I will make all humans respect and fear demons so they will never dare to challenge us again." Neil stopped talking, he knew nothing he said would persuade Seth off this path. A guard came in, "Master, your route is clear for tonight. You may head out with no worries." He then excused himself. Seth always used one day of the week to go patrol and spy on the villages. He wanted to make sure that the humans were obedient and weren't plotting anything against him. Seth and Neil got ready to head out.

"Please Yuki?" "No Shiro its fine I promise. I am old enough to walk home by myself. I know its late but please I want to be alone for a bit." "Okay fine.. but please be careful.. I don't want anything to happen to you." "Yes Shiro I know don't worry. Besides we are trained to fight, so you know I can defend myself if anything happens." "Hmm true.. Okay Yuki, be safe then. I'll see you tomorrow in class." "Alright goodnight." She then headed home. It was very dark, and she was tired. She forgot today was her birthday. After she lost her father she never celebrated it or anything. "Hey! what are you doing out here so late cutie? And all alone." 5 men emerged from the shadows, they were all drunk and lust was evident in their eyes. They began to approach her. "Get away from me, if it's money you want I have nothing. I'll hurt you if you don'tleave me alone." But the men kept advancing towards her. She kicked one and punched another, but the other 3 got a hold of her.

"Wow do you hear those screams? Sounds like someone is in trouble." Neil looked at Seth for a reaction but got nothing as the kept moving through the tall trees. "What if a human tried to do something and is being dealt with by one of your demons?" This made Seth curious, Neil was right he needed to go investigate in just in case. They both approached the area where the screams were coming from. They watched from afar as the events were taking place. "Please stop! Let me go! No!" "Well she's putting up a fight. Too bad she's human, or we could of helped her, lets go Seth." Neil turned around to head the other direction. "She looks familiar.." said Seth. "How? You don't know any humans." "There there baby, it'll be over soon, you might even like it. Mmm you smell delicious." One of the guys held a knife to her throat which slightly cut her. Another ripped open her shirt. She shut her eyes and tears escaped, this was it she was going to be abused and probably killed. She braced herself but nothing happened. She opened her eyes and to her surprise, there stood someone choking her aggressor with one hand, holding him in the air. "You call yourselves men? Disgusting." He snapped his neck then moved to another and dug out his heart with his hand. He kicked down and smashed another ones' head with his foot. The other 2 tried to run but Neil got to them. "Who-?" Yuki was paralyzed by the events transpiring in front of her. She didn't know if to be grateful or scared, she felt her body go numb and she passed out. "Great now we won't even get a thank you." Neil said jokingly. "Shh. We are taking her with us" "What!? Are you crazy what's wrong with you!? Seth!? Hey I'm talking to you." Nothing Neil would say was reaching his ears. He was so lost in his thoughts and his attention was given to the unconscious girl he was now picking up in his arms.

He recognized her scent the moment her blood was shed and before he knew it he was rescuing her. His body had moved on its own. What was wrong with him, even now why was he carrying her, taking her to his home. He figured he had many questions for her, that's why he was taking her he told himself. Where had she been all these years? And how had she grown up to be so beautiful.
