10 Abduction

The following morning came too fast for Yuki. She heard her grandma's voice coming from the kitchen. "Yuki, someone is here for you." "Coming!" She had overslept, and he sure was here early as well, she thought as she rushed out of her room. "Hey I'm-" "Good morning Yuki." Standing there was Shiro, not Seth. This was bad, really bad, Seth would be there any moment now and Shiro was here. "What are you doing here?" "Oh you know just wanted to check on my favorite girl. Make sure no demon had snatched her." She signaled him to keep his voice down, she didn't want her grandma knowing just yet. "Please leave." "Why, is he coming over? Is that why you are getting all pretty?" "Shiro look please, why can't we just be friends and move on frim all this?" "I'll tell you why, I will not give up the girl I've liked all my life to anyone, or anything. There is no one else left in this world who I'd want to be with. If I can't have you no one else can." In a quick movement he hit her behind the neck and rendered her unconscious. Her grandma saw what happened but before she could make her way to Yuki she too was knocked out, but not by Shiro. "Well, that takes care of granny." Saria spoke up in an almost jokingly matter and trying to suppress a chuckle. "You said no one was going to get hurt." "I didn't hurt her, shell wake up in a couple of hours with nothing more than a slight headache. We should get going though. We don't want to be here when he gets here."

They both took off and Shiro carried an unconscious Yuki in his arms. About 20 minutes later Seth arrived at her house. He politely knocked and waited, he knocked a second time and waited. "Yuki it's me." He called out but no one responded. "So you really wanna take her to the castle?" asked Neil as they waited. "Something is not right.. It's too quiet. Neil." He signaled Neil to go take a look from the back of the house. "On it." Neil disappeared and appeared back in a matter of seconds. "She is not here." "What the hell." He opened the door and let himself in. He immediately came across a passed out old lady on the floor. "Ma'am?.. lady can you hear me, are you okay?" Seth asked as he picked her up and sat her up, she slowly began to regain consciousness. "Ugh my head.. Yuki! They took her! They took my child!" Neil and Seth looked at each other then back at the woman. "Listen, I need you to calm down, can you tell me who took her?" "I don't know, her friend Shiro came and then someone hit me in the head and... I don't remember. I didn't see their faces." "That bastard." Seth hissed under his breath, low enough to not be heard by ordinary people, but Neil picked it up easy. "Don't worry ma'am, I'll get your daughter back." Seth said as he tried to not lose it himself. He helped the woman to her bed and told her to get some rest. He then made his way outside where Neil was waiting. "Do you have any idea where she could be?" Neil asked, "No, she wasn't injured or I'd smell her blood. Find me a demon hound." "Got it, I'll be right back." Neil left to fetch a Demon Hound, who were expert trackers because of their powerful sense of smell. Rumors had it there wasn't anything they couldn't track even after rain.

In the meantime Seth was trying to cool himself off, he wanted to be able to think rationally and being pissed off wasn't going to allow him to do that. About 30 minutes later Neil was back with a hound. "What took you so long?" Neil could see Seth was upset, if there was anything Neil was afraid of, it was an angry Seth. "I am sorry, this guy was the closest and he happened to be way up in some mountain so I had to go up there and get him." "How may I help you your Majesty?" The hound bowed and never made eye contact out of respect for Seth. "I need you to track down a human for me, his name is Shiro. Go down to their school, you can pick up his scent there in the nursing room, third bed from the right. I'll be be searching on my own, if you find anything let me know as soon as possible." "Yes sir." Both the hound and Neil said in unison as they bowed down. Seth disappeared in a flash and then they too made their way to the school.

"Listen, I don't know who you are but you have no right to do this." Yuki spoke as she tried to struggle her way out of the ropes that held her prisoner. "No you listen to me little girl, I don't want to hurt you so stop moving around and shut up before I gag you." "What do you want from me?" "From you nothing, from Seth however, I want to settle something personal." "Seth? What did he do to you?" "That's none of your concern, but for lack of better words he took everything from me... and now I will do the same to him." She giggled as she caressed Yuki on the cheek. "I won't allow you to hurt her Saria, that wasn't the plan." "Don't tell me what to do. Or what, you'd rather have her be with that demon?" Shiro looked down and did as he was told, anything was better than that outcome he thought. "Don't listen to her Shiro!" "You shut up! This is all your fault to begin with. If you had only chosen me, given me a chance, none of this would be happening." Yuki began to feel a bit scared, this was not the Shiro she knew at all. "Seth will eventually find me. I know he will, please just let me go before anyone gets hurt." Yuki looked down at the pendant hanging from her neck. She put all of her thoughts and feelings into it, hoping Seth would somehow find her. She really wished he'd told her how the thing works. Saria's voice broke her train of thoughts. "That's the plan girly, have him come rescue you without knowing he'd be walking to his death." Yuki's eyes went wide in horror. They intended to kill Seth? And to top it all off, she was the bait.

"Good job Roxley, you can go inform Prince Seth and go home afterwards you'll be rewarded as well." Neil and the hound had found them and had been scoping out the situation from afar. "Alright let me know if you need anything else, you know where to find me." "Yea no problem, thanks." Roxley went off to find Seth and in just a few minutes a very pissed off Prince was next to Neil. "Where is she?" "In there-" "Lets go." "Wait! You'll ever guess who is with them." "Who?" "Your Ex Fiancé, Saria." Seth looked in the building to in fact find Saria there. "What's she doing here? Sigh it doesn't matter we need to get Yuki out of there." "Its a trap Seth, I've been listening. Saria is out to kill you. She is using Yuki as bait and Shiro is there helping her. They are both unaware she is a demon. She won't hesitate to kill her to get to you. We need to be careful walking in there, we need a plan." Seth's frustration only grew more, but he knew Yuki's life was at stake here and needed to actually listen to Neil. "Damn it! I'll kill her this time for sure!" He said.
